I have just got my Tytn II but when the network wizard starts I don't see my country in the list (Canada). The network wizard icon appears at the top and then I get a message saying " Your current operator (30237) is not supported. You should obtain an update from our device vendor. Would you like to select another network provider?" I click yes to change it but my country is not listed. Only shows Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
How do I get my country listed?
Any help would be appreciated
Im having the same problem, Does anyone have a fix that adds Fido or Rogers settings?
Yes...if you search for "Rogers network settings" you'll find this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=311426
Install the Rogers cab and it will set up your Tytn-II with the required internet and MMS settings.

Hi, after upgrading to WM6, my Treo 750 has been working with internet connection and company emails in Singapore, Hong Kong and Seoul with no problem.
Yesterday, after arriving to the Bay area in US, my internet connection has stopped with error message of " the answering modem has disconnected. To check your connection settings and change them if needed." I am with SingTel and the setting has been working fine in many APAC countries in the last couple of months.
Any advice from anybody on how to fix this? Thanks.
can you be more specific ? Do you have the internet package for Cingular ?
Hi everyone, this is my first time here.
I currently own a D810 and i got it from hong kong.
i try to connect to interenet with edge/gprs from t-mobile but it said my machines not support. i try to find update in region in netwroking wizard but there is nothing from USA, only Europe. can another one help me out? where i can find them? thanks alot
Try the configuration for the HTCs available from T-Mobile, the Dash and the other one. The configuration should be the same and it should work.
Try this... its what i used to setup my connection. This cab sets up connection if you are on a PDA connect plan (isp.congular). If you are on MediaNet then just change the APN in the connections settings to WAP.cingular.
Network Wizard:"Your current operator (23433) is not supported. You should obtain an update from your device vendor.
Would you like to select another network provider?
When i turned on my dopod this message appeared. I am with Fido, and in Canada, Ontario, Toronto. Is there a way i can manually input settings so that my network wizard can adjust in order to work with fido/rogers? The only list of countries that i see in the network wizard is asian and other operators, no US or Canada.
Every time I start my TYTN II, I get a popup as follows:
===============================
Network Wizard
-------------------------------------------------------
Your current operator (31026) is not
supported. You should obtain an update from
your device vendor.
Would you like to select another network
provider?

....YES.........................................MENU

I can, of course, simply ignore it and the phone appears to work just fine. However, if I choose "Yes," then I'm presented with a list of countries and providers to choose from...and there is no US, USA, North America, etc. in the list.
Now, I'm assuming this is some sort of software helper that automatically configures the network, internet, wap, mms, etc. in an effort to make things easier for the end user. So, in theory, if I've already entered all that information in the phone, then I shouldn't need this software, right?
Thanx.
I used to get that with the Dopod WM5 roms when I was using a UK O2 sim card - the Dopod was only configured for Asian markets. I guess you are using a rom from an area which doesn't support your sim card. Maybe try to dearch for the network configuration tool which supports your sim / carrier.
Yes. I purchased the phone in Hong Kong.
So, how do I eliminate this irritation?
Thanx.

Hi all
I have read online that the Xperia 1 ii will be available on Vodafone and via carphonewarehouse in the UK, but have seen nothing relating to preorders there?
Is it that there are no preorders via these outlets and o2 has exclusivity on the preorder bonus?
The better value will always be O2 anyway with the refresh trick, but just seems odd that the phone officially goes on sale on Thursday next week and only o2 have offered up preorder slots?
The Xperia 1 II is exclusive to O2 at the moment. Not sure when other networks will get it.
I'm with Vodafone as I get the 15% discount and can't find anything about this phone coming to Vodafone. Hope it available in August when it's time for me to upgrade
It's on the Vodafone UK website now.
Could someone with the Xperia 1 II from Vodafone UK please tell me Customization Version of the firmware that came with the phone? I ask because I want to get Vodafone VoLTE working on my O2-provided phone, but the only Vodafone firmware on XperiFirm right now is 1321-8394 which is described as "Vodafone LC Net Locked" and I'm a bit worried about the "Net Locked" bit and don't know what that means.
You can find your Customization Version by opening the service menu by dialling:
*#*#SERVICE#*#*
Then Service info -> Software info -> Customization Version
Thanks

I got the information off someone on Reddit. Phones bought directly from Vodafone in the UK ship with the 1321-8394 "Vodafone LC Net Locked" firmware. We suspect this firmware is locked to work only with a Vodafone SIM so don't recommend it. If in the UK, you're better off with the 1321-7192 "Customized UK" firmware, as on this firmware VoLTE and WiFi calling both work on Vodafone UK and the other UK networks too.
Has anyone else noticed that after the 58.0.A.3.88 update that Vodafone UK WiFi-Calling no longer works on the Customized UK firmware?
I have the UK customised firmware to move me away from O2 ROM,
I had the new update rolled out automatically this morning.
WiFi calling didn't seem to work initially but then some app auto ran and said something like 'Downloading IME data" I clicked it and let it complete and is said vodafone WiFi calling updated or some sort of similar message.
Seems to be working fine now, I have a VF business sim installed.

OK, just was in an area there with poor mobile signal and WiFi calling is working fine. Thing is the #*#*4636#*#* menu shows that Wifi Calling not provisioned, and there is no longer an option to turn it on or off in the network settings. However, when you need it WiFi calling is still working fine and IMS status then shows Voice over WiFi: Available.
