Change HTC apps colors - HTC Wings

I installed Facade and chose a green theme.
Anyone knows if it is possible (and how) to change the background color of HTC apps (comm manager, for example), so that they better integrate in the new theme?

Or my question how to just change them completely?!

The connection manager has a bunch of .png files in the \windows directory on the device. These should be hackable with a graphics program and be displayed after the device is reset.
To customize the rest of your normal (non-HTC) WM programs, see http://www.modaco.com/content/Smartphone-General-Discussion/236832/Homescreen-guide-for-beginners/

Most of the styles are saved in XML files which you can edit with web page writing tools. As such you should be able to see the path's to the graphical files and then just change their color.
Would think so, havnt looked yet but I am planning on changing my home screen to a nice blue. I like the HTC look, but a soft blue would be better than grey IMO.

Well, at last it seems it was rather simple changing the colors of my Facade theme: I've converted it from green to grey editing the xml file and modifying a few gifs with Gimp.
So it's all grey now, and HTC apps are again integrated with the overall style.
Thanks.

post us ur theme. would be cool

Here it is.
But it's no other than the original facade style, with changed colors and a cool (I think) background...
(I didn't change the profile gifs cause I don't use this plugin)

Touchflo 3d wallpaper change

Hey guys, I know this has been posted before, and i feel bad for making a new topic about it, but i've tried searching and cannot for the life of me find the topic. I don't even know the proper keyword to search.
Anyways an answer would be greatly appreciated.
In the touchflo 3d tabs, I know how to change the main wallpaper, but how do i put individual wallpapers for each tab?
Do i need 3rd party software? or is it a reg edit?
Thanks in advance!
no one can help me out????
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=400309
hmm, thanks for replying, although it didn't really provide a solution to my question.
is there even a solution or it's not possible?
Do you mean the few dark grey squares in the backgroud that show in different tabs? My belief is that you can't change the wallpaper there because it's not a simple wallpaper image file that is there (my belief is the background is built up by one single square image file). But you can change the color of the squares (from grey to red or blue) or outlook of individual squares (from rectagle to circle, maybe? but it may look silly to do so).
Well at least not for now, but I am sure somebody is hacking the phone hard enough to make it happen one day .
you need manila editor to change the square appearance, btw. Look for the "square" image file in manila editor and change it to whatever color/shape you like. Try, if you don't like it. Switch it back.

[THEME] Color Focus cabs, includes Landscape icon focus, Pink, Orange and more

I have downloaded some of the focus color change files from XDA and found that they were very incomplete, missing many of the other 'green' elements in vanilla manila, so I made a new one, which includes the focus elements for the landscape icons too. It also has a reg edit to change the enlarged start menu and task manager highlights to gray.
Other colors could be made on request.
EDIT the communications menu is NOT orange if you use this with stock HTC black theme (but for some reason on the Alltel theme I tested it with it was), I did not check this, I guess the manila file names on Fuze manila comm menu are different. I did catch little things like the audio progress bar etc, but I will update soon to fix the Comm menu, with new colors too...
and yes my typed response didn't make any sense and here are some pics
EDIT 2 I figured it out - I am running a custom comm manager from my Juicy CDMA rom - so I have included those files in a revised version that is now 100% all green graphics to orange
EDIT 3 I have also added an optional orange tab cab file for the lower scrolling icon area - personal preference if you like this.
EDIT 4 I have fixed the transparency issues on the opera focus so it looks better, not shown in pictures below
v4 has bug fixes with text below opera globe
ADDITIONAL COLORS CAN BE FOUND IN MY ADDITIONAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD
what?
what did u do exactly?
got any pics..ur wording just confused the crap outta me.
Late,
Jstar
pics or it never happened.
i am not going to the trouble of posting pics, since really if you know what I don't know what I meant by the focus color then don't worry about it - the stock fuze scheme has an orange focus, this is designed for people using the HTC black pro manila (or any custom theme that orange would go with)..
but if you need an explanation in TF3D when you highlight and option on the home screen, or in one of the settings menus etc there is a colored highlight behind it. On the stock HTC black theme that highlight is green, on Sprint it is yellow etc etc. There are already some cabs in the diamond forums that change the colors but a) they did not change all the items that needed changing in color - I went through all the manila image files and found all the files that have this focus color - and b) did not change the color for the manila landscape icons....
instead of u typing a story about it..wouldnt it simpler to just say here are some focus color mods yadda yadda followed by a screen shot.
u say u wont post a pic..but yet ull go thru the troubles of stifiling thru all those manilla files..whats one more step
save the typing for mavis beacon..post pics
Late,
Jstar
EDIT :
and ur right " i know what u dont know "
yes my response was unintelligible - please see pics and EDIT above
could you do a light almost neon blue/white perhaps?
already have icons in landscape and portrait but the highlight color matching would be great

start with the blue i requested above before you get too swamped
well first I have to fix the comm menu
I figured it out I think - I am running a custom comm manager from my Juicy CDMA rom, so if you are running stock comm manager the standard cab 'should' change the comm manager colors too - could someone confirm this for me ?
I've been messing with this for some time now and finally got the start bar changed, but cannot figure out the Manila stuff.
If you have a chance to do one in pink, that would be amazing. I'm looking for something similar to hex code #F780C7.
I've seen a lot of other colors for things done, but nothing pink, maybe there are not as many females? So if you get a chance - I know I'd love to see it!!
I have the files to fix the comm manager issues I was having, and then I will work on some unique colors - I will do ones that are not seen as much, such as an ice/aqua blue, a hot and powder pink, Charcoal, .....etc
what about some red, yellow and pink
no seriously...some pink for my girl
EDIT 2 I figured it out I think - I am running a custom comm manager from my Juicy CDMA rom - so I have included those files in a revised version that is now 100% all green graphics to orange
EDIT 3 I have also added an option orange tab for the lower scrolling icon area - personal preference if you like this.
Now that I have finalized the Orange version other colors will be forthcoming
Updated files in first post
Light Pink
Here is my next color - a very light pink...really on suitable for TF3D themes with a dark font (ie doesn't work too well on my stock HTC black theme)
THIS IS NOT THE PINK REQUESTED in an earlier post - a darker one will be coming
Again there is separate cab for the pink tab, if you would like that too.
BTW the comm and audio manager focus files are not 'manila' files - they are simply png's in your windows folder on the device, so just changing the manila files doesn't change everything. Here are the file names that you need to edit
SIPMenu_BottomMenuItem_HL.png
SIPMenu_BottomMenuItem_HL_LS.png
SIPMenu_MenuItem_HL.png
SIPMenu_MenuItem_HL_LS.png
SIPMenu_TopMenuItem_HL.png

Save_to_contact_checkbox_Check.png
ses_btn_eq_chked.png
ses_slr_bar_2f.png
ses_slr_bar_2lf.png
ses_slr_thumb_2f.png
Also these files will not change the focus in HTC apps like the camera etc - that is something I will work on eventually.
EDIT - text "launch Browser' was missing from under the opera globe in v1 - please use v2 cab attached and disregard error showing this in image in the post
Light Blue
As above, Icon tab is optional separate cab
EDIT - text "launch Browser' was missing from under the opera globe in v1 - please use v2 cab attached and disregard error showing this in image in the post. Also the name that was in the add/remove program list said pink for these cabs..they are fixed
How do you install this into your phone?

Help with backround for all tabs + Font Color

I've been having some trouble making TF3d look exactly the way I want. The first thing I've been wanting to do is to have my wallpaper be in the backround of every tab. I've tried using the cabs here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=432951
but since I'm using the clock from the ATT rom they don't work correctly (changes my clock into a flip clock that shows 00:00) Is it possible to do this without changing my clock?
The second thing I want to do is to change the font color to white. With help from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2749452#post2749452
I know what to do but how the hell do I get the manila files onto my computer, so I can edit them!?
I couldnt get the manila files onto my computer but I was able to make open up a copy I made in my strorage card from my hex editor. The values in the tutorial and the file are completely different. Could anyone with more experience changing TF3d than I help me locate the values so I can have some white text up in this tf3d?
I'm using the stock ATT Rom (w/o the bloatware if that makes a diff)

Batch Color Converter Tool

I hope it's OK to ask a question here ...
What is a good program/tool to use to change the color of multiple .png files all at once? I am trying to convert a blue theme to a different color and have tried FastStone Image Viewer with some success but it will still require modifying a lot of files one at a time. For instance it changed the entire stat_sys_wifi_signal_2_fully.png to the new color even though only the bottom half should convert. When previewing the new images it also looks like the transparent background was replaced with a white background and when I opened the image in gimp the background was indeed white instead of transparent.
I know I could change the color with gimp but I'd have to do them one at a time which would take a lot longer than I'd like to spend on this theme. Thanks for any help.

Changing backgrounds on apps/widgets screens

Let's say I have a theme I really love except that the background for apps/widgets is plain black and I want background to be the same as the home screen wallpaper. Given that there is no setting for this, I assume I will need to learn how to open theme, replace plain background png files with appropriately named wallpaper png files and reassemble theme. Yes?
I unzipped the apk and found numerous wallpaper variations (resolutions and sizes) for home screen, messaging and so on, but not for app/widget backgrounds. Where in res folders would they be and what might they be called? Or are there none if background is black and I would have to either make them or edit xml to call appropriate wallpaper file?
I've searched and read but this particular task is not described...or at least I can't find it. Any info to get me started would be very nice.
