Hi,
I moved to the new TyTn II from a 8125 recently. In the past I was able to supply log in info on the 910 to connect via Bluetooth to my 8125 so tomtom could get it's plus services like real time traffic and other features. Once I moved to the Tytn II I can make the bluetooth link but I cant build a connection that pushes out to the internet over the phone. I can however surf just fine on the Tytn II and in fact have it's intermal tomtom Nav 6 GPS working just fine.
Has anyone been successful using the Tytn II to give a tomtom 910 the connection it needs? I'm on the At&T network.
Thanks
Hello,
At the time, I bought a GNS TMC receiver for my Mio P550. For more info about the GNS TMC receiver, please have a look at http://www.gns-gmbh.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=28&products_id=117.
Since this receiver has a mini-usb connection I'm wondering if it could work on my Tytn II. I found that it does charge my Tytn, the only question is how to get TMC working on my device. Does anybody know this? Can anybody help? Does anyone have some suggestions to try?
The software I'm working with is MioMap v3.2 or Route 66 navigate 7. This used to work on my mio p550, off course i prefer it on my Tytn II
Thanks for all help!!
Dennis
A response from GNS:
"thank you for your inquiry. Sorry the PDA HTC Tytn II has only a USB-Client connector. in this case the HTC Tytn II canĀ“t use TMC-receiver with cable."
Is this true; don't they react like this to palm me off?
tnx
Anyone can advise whether Diamond can work as Fax machine like those WM3. Really missed this function.
Is there any fax receive software for Touch Diamond? (other than very old KSE Truefax)
Hi, have written about this before and also informed about the reply given by Becker that their upcoming version 5.0 of the software might solve the issue.
But do anyone know if there is a difference in the HFP protocol between WinMo 6.1 and 6.5. In other words can an upgrade make any difference? Also could Touch Diamond 2 work or it is still the same protocol?
