I got this problem trying to use that:

Checked the runme.bat
Should ROMUpgradeUT.exe be changed to: ROMUpdateUtility.exe ?
Or ofcourse I can change the filename to ROMUpgradeUT.exe? =)
Lucky me I'm not as dumb as I look
And I got a reboot, not a hard reset after the update...

if base spl is 2.05 you use sspl 1.01 and
1.you can not upgrade radio
2.you use ROMUpgradeUT.exe to flash files
if you installed official 1.34 wwe rom then you have spl 1.10 and you can use spl 77.7 and
1.YOU CAN FLASH RADIO
2.YOU USE ROMUpdateUtility.exe
i worte an entire guide about unlock and sspl but nobody reads it

for all:
before do anything... flash the latest orig. htc mteor rom...
1.34...
than SPL is 1.10...
and all roms and all other things will work like desctipted from us!!

it is tested on hermes for 3 monts
no problems

can you elaborate, please. is it better in phone reception, call clarity, GPS performance, etc????

just installed it. it is suppose to be Arabic enabled
this is how to do it :

OK, it is just for those who did pay there device in an arabic country. if not the arabizer package will not install . (b.t.w you have to do a hard reset to complete the installation of the arabic package and this really sucks because it takes long time to do! )
BUT there is some how a way to go around it and install this "INCOMPLETE" arabizer (because it dose not have the nice ISP that has ben floating around for some time - just the official windows mobile SIP with those tiny little buttons) :
Take the arabic package to your desktop and unpack it and install 2 of the 3 files there and then take them back to your HD. Those are :
1.Multilingual Support_LocMAX_NoCour_P32_NOI.Cab
2.Customization_LOC_P13.Cab
just install them locally on your device (1 then restart then 2 ) and just ignore the warning that pups up after installing the first one , it will go away after installing the second one. and finally restart and there you go . you have it all in arabic
The ROM it self is the same (i think ) as the old WWE (europ) . didnt test it yet but the Camera at least is as slow as always

If someone could upload this ROM in another location, it would be nice, because I'm french with radio issues and I wanted to try this new radio ROM, but my S/N is not accepted.

Thank you for the new rom bro and also with new radio. I could make a sticky thread for the BlackStone radios and start collecting, but havent tested or flash any seperately. Can we flash the Radio seperately now are these new radios or deifferent

Good job to you all, since this ROM version is 1.14 which is an old one, could some body extract the Radio and post it so any one can upgrade the Radio only......

Yes, as far I know, radio is used for network, gps, gprs, gsm, umts, etc. Of course, the version used is also very important for the battery life; sometimes can also be the cause of the heating of the device.

i've dumped my entire original rom (part00,01,02,03). i supose that in one of this files (00 or 04) is the radio.

for me, it seems that both the battery life and the singal is improving. but i have no idea if the GPS works better~

Problems with new Rom PLEASE HELP

hi i hope someone can help.
i have been reading the threads based around the new 1.56 rom,and am too having a few problems.
I was i was currently running duttys 2.6 rom using HSPL.
So i flashed the New released rom from HTC thinking everything would be ok, but all the colours were mixed up and was running alil slow, so after reading a few other posts, i tried to revert back to stock spl, i put 1.13 stock rom back on and used USPL as others have found this works.
My colours are still mucked up and everything is running slow still. I thought maybe i should have put stock 1.15 spl on but everytime i try that, the progress bar hangs at 0% and nothin happens. I want to start again fresh and removing everything and getting eveything back to normal.
i hope someone can help me out

The wiki contains a nice article summing all facts up.
A 1.56 rom doesn't work with any SPL below 1.54. Just look up your SPL version. I guess you haven't 1.54 at all.

i have 1.54 installed, would it be worth going back to HSPL install Olinex again?

Still hanging at 0% why would the RUU do that?

had the same problem as you. Could recover my device by flashing the original (or as close as I could find) ROM.

ive managed to restore back to stock using the orange rom dump in the wiki.
and stock SPL 1.14
heres what the red writing says as i turn it on..
R 1.09.25.14
G 52.49a.25.26
D 1.14.22273
Ive then read through the tutorials and it says to flash a stock 1.56 rom now, ive tried doing this with both..
RUU_BlackStone_HTC_Europe_1.56.401.0_Radio_52.62.25.34_1.13.25.24_Ship

You have to install uspl 2.5 in order to install any other rom than stock rom

I would think you have a 1.54 SPL down grade your SPL

I don't like wm 6.5 because of incompatibility problem. Since wm 2003 all progs work fine till 6.1, but many progs for 6.1 doesnt work on 6.5. Ther are no so much improvements (generally appearence) to refuse the treasury of programs for wm 2003-6.1. i'll wait till 7

well, i dont know about the differences, because it was my first wm65 rom i used, and i am downgrading right now.
1st reason:
file explorer has a problem with my folder "1st install" on the sd-card. when i scroll down to cab files starting with "t", it looses the sd-card. it is gone... soft reset, tried again, same problem... this is not working for me.
2nd reason:
as psy-o-matic, a lot of programs dont work. i can install them, but starting is not possible, such as pocketwit, gpscyclecomputer, etc. and as i got already used to those progs, wm6.1 in the latest version of 14-4-09 is my choice....

There is a clash between HTC Phone canvas slider and Lock screen.. No solution yet .. so lock screen sacrificed.

The difference from 21500.. is 21210 is a stable official build (from HTC Taichi).
