Hello,
I am wondering if it's possible to get a report for email once the mail is delivered? Just like you can do with SMS messages?
Bit more info:
Why do i want this? Me and some friends got Mobile internet and all the emails are getting automaticly on our smartphones. and sometimes it appears that messages that i or someone else sends dont come over! It shows up in my Send Mail (Even when i look in the webmail client at my PC) but it never show up at my friends inbox.
I use Gmail. And the others Hotmail.
All have WM6.0

I have noticed that everytime i send a email threw my Gmail acount over my phone in my mailbox on my computer it shows and icon that says"sent items" and when i looking into it a little more it shows that i am acutually sending 2 emails each time i send one. The first email has the text that i have entered and the second email is just blank.
Has anyone else had this issue or can you tell me how to fix it. thanks
are you using the gmail app, pocket outlook, or via internet?
Am currently with T-Mobile and have the HTC Kaiser(or vario 3 as they call it).
As I have an unlimited internet usage on the phone, I just wondered if there was an easy way I can route a text to a mobile abroad via the web(and therefore text would be free).
I don't want to have to go to a website on the phone and do it, I'd prefer to be able to send like a normal text but to send it differently so it goes via web to the mobile.
What I wanted to do is replicate what you can do from a pc, which is send a normal style text from a website to a mobile. On the recieving mobile, it appears the same as any other text, so wouldn't need it's own internet connection.
Is this possible? How easy is it?
You can't do that
but you can do what I do
Setup your email account to send/receive to ur MS outlook mobile/ w/e ur email application is...and u can send texts by typing persons' number at watever..like
for at/ t [email protected] . ...tmobile [email protected]
verizon [email protected]@messaging.sprintpcs.com
these ppl will get the text and can reply to it...and when u get the reply in ur email inbox...it'll see the contacts name...not like blah blah @ tmomail.net
i do it..i.t works greatt
I'd do that, but for some reason when I send an email from my phone, it sends out two copies... I would hate to send two texts everytime!
Edit: I just looked into this some more since I have 'the time' and I realized that it's just my gmail account that is seeing the double emails since it's saving a 'sent' copy on the phone and then doubles it up in the gmail.com app. (so this will work! Now I'll have to go through and setup everyone's texting email and another gmail account just to have the responses go through it)
Hello,
I’ve been using the phone for few days now and I’m having some problems with my e-mail. I have configured three e-mails accounts, 1 Gmail and two pop 3 mails.
The deal is that whenever I use the e-mail app I can check new e-mails, but I can’t see the old messages (the one I read before). Also, alter seeing the messages in the SGS the messages disappear from the phone AND from my e-mail server. I already checked the configuration and I have selected “Never” in the “Delete e-mail from the server” in the “Incoming server settings” of both accounts but it looks like as soon as the e-mail apps access my account it actually deletes the message from the server.
Does anyone know how to solve this?
Thanks
Do they disappear immediately?
Are you sure you don't check them elsewhere (standalone computer) where they ARE removed from the server?
Don't have that issue here, only once I check them on my home computer they are removed from the server and my phone.
I'm sure. I was traveling, and the only way to chck my e-mail was using the phone. When I got home I tried to download the messages in the outlook and no messages were downloaded. Than I tried to acess the messages using webmail and again I couldn't fine the messages. They just disappeared.
Tried again with the same results. I read the messages on the SGS and 10 seconds later the message disappears from the phone and from the server (I tried to read the messages using a Webmail page and there is no message in the inbox).
Looks like a Bug, but it's strange that I'm the only one that is experiencing this issue. I recall that I had a similar issue with my Archos, but I thought it was a problem with Android 1.6. It may be a issue with my e-mail account but it is just a simple pop 3 account. I see no reason why it would behave like that.
pop3 email vanishes
I am having the same type problem with my samsung vibrant.I set up a pop3 account using my cable account. I can send and receive mail but my mail vanishes from the inbox. It does stay on the server luckily. Nobody at tmobil or samsung has a solution except to use k9 but it happens on it also/ So they blame isp which makes no sense since it arrives. Very frustrating
I'm running the stock Android OS on my Captivate no changes at all. My problem is when I use the stock email client or K9 I can't send an email unless I use Wi-fi. Now if I log into my Gmail or Yahoo account using the web client I can send and receive email. I should also say that I can receive emails if I choose to manually check for new messages and sometimes it will receive messages throughout the day. It had me thinking I had some setting to check for new mail but I couldn't find it. Anyone ever had this problem and if they did how did they fix it.
Hello all,
Today I got a message on screen of my Lumia 720 which said that the message cannot be delivered as your inbox is full, please delete some messages!
What is this??? I have around 10 sms in the inbox? And it gets full??
Please help me..
That usually refers to either your voicemail inbox or your email inbox, not your SMS/MMS inbox. Check your email storage and your voicemail logs (it helps to delete the old ones; most carriers will only store a small number).

Thats quite confusing...! I dont have configured any voicemail or emails in the messages app.. How can I use just to get the normal SMS messages? :crying:
Hav eyou tried having somebody text you? I'm pretty sure your SMS delivery is working fine.
The Messaging hub doesn't handle voicemails (those are through the Phone hub) or emails (those are through whatever email accounts you have configured on your phone, probably including the Microsoft account that is the phone's primary account used to access the Store and all). Both voicemails and emails are "messages" as well.
