I created this topic due it's terrible hard to find the simplest software what you had standard under wm2003.
We Still miss some Simple Stuff,
For all who downloading, this software works for me with Mamaichs testversion or v3 version or whatever :twisted:

Thanks for the efforts.But I think u hv not done the full search in the whole forum.Try logging on to FTP and search in Himalaya section for a zip folder "2577" .This is suppose to be the AUto Run type Extended ROM, which contains numerous softwares which are tested and Run on WM5..
You will simply love it.Try reading more in Himalaya section.

Well, done, already spitted trough all big topics for wm2005 last weekend, horrible to do so by the way(spended more than 20 hours on this fora, shall not mention all others):evil: for a little effort. (yes, sometimes skipped some reply's)
Also copied the half of the ftp servers to my pc :lol:
Some of the stuff of the extended roms there is useless for BlueAngels, also some things can work, or needs to be patched, but to find out what will work for me under wm2005 takes some time.
Sure normal applications work, but a working midlet manager, still no luck for me. :evil:
But renember that a Himalaya and the BlueAngel are totaly different devices, (also wm2003 and wm2005)common thing like a bootscreen will not work, as for now. caller-id is totaly obsolete, (don't know for Hima).
The fax of my original ext rom did gave errors, during install. :evil:
At the moment the wiki of the BlueAngel is totally outdated, since there is so many fixed.
Also from M. a ba_wm5_fix_v3.rar versie on the wiki still reverts to V1.
(Think i missed a reply to? i'm not reading a topic of 10+ pages every day again starting at page 1 due to Changes)

Sorry man, still not able to get acces, whats the status of the problem, since you say'd somewere else that you posted it to the admin forum or something?

I Have the same problem. When I try to install the MMS cab, I get saying it's not signed with a trusted certificate. I followed the link and downloaded the Version 3 Patch Cab. It made no difference. Any other ideas?

does anyone have the Modem application that used to be in the programs on 2003, the one you use to set the BA as a moden on a PC or laptop and connect when craddled that way, know what I mean ???

That's the version I was using, I tried the one you linked to in case mine was corupt or something but still go the error message. Is there a way to stop WM 5.0 checking for a digital signature?

well i managed to got it working on a PH20B by installing the latest signed rom. (still the test one)
Now Version 3 is out: not on my system yet.

than i installed the patches according to this list.
starting with:
- ba_wm5_fix_v3.rar
- Buttons_Fix_v2.rar
- WM5_ArcsoftMMSv2_From_Universal.CAB (install this before the camera)
- Camera2K5_v1.rar
- Album with midi.rar
Maybe this works for u to? 8)

I think its best if we create a new thread to be able to distingish between 1.3.2 and 1.3.3. Big thanks to Helmi_c for this one.
It does install and boot. No major flaws, although it boots in Landscape mode. I used the EXTROM from 1.3.2.

all is working fine according 2 betatesters

Downloading the ROM and will flash soon. Since I am using Logout 5.09, running well without any issue. Just wonder if the AKU 3.3 is better or not, then I will post feedback as soon as possible. Good work, Helmi!

guys please remember to use a full d3d_driver not mine version, since d3d drivers its not built in 1.3.3 rom...

thanks a ton helmi for this rom...everythings working fine...btw how am I supposed to use the internet sharing app for direct usb connection? also, when I connect to gprs the G symbol does not appear on top of the gsm signal bar...

D3d installed and working very well.
new problem:
Having troubles with the Broadcom BT stack. I can't get it to come up. It keeps giving me the insufficient driver memory message, even with both patch 1 and patch 2 installed. I am going to try going back to the MS driver although I think that everyonr here agrees that the Broadcom is much more stable and user friendly.

can someone plz gimme a link for it?
the one on the ftp is only 10MB, so i assume it's corrupted.

Try again, I have downloaded it twice since your post and got 29MB. Also checked checked it against my first download and it appears to be complete.

Hey guys there are 2 new files on the ftp server,one is named AKU3.2 1.3.3 which is about 10MB in size,this one is incomplete,U should download the other one which is named AKU 3.3 v1.3.3 and it's 29MB in size
Someone must delete the first 10MB AKU3.2 1.3.3 file which is incomplete.

Yes I've just upgraded with this ROM. No problems so far, have just tried Tomtom 6.03 with the GPS.

Goodie I think now is the time to finally buy a trinity.

I have tried it too. I also installed TenGO Thumb and.... IT WORKS. Great to have the new rom

Rom is not pure English !!! there are still some programs that use the language of china ...

I 've ever tried to flash rom is up to 5 times, and runs perfectly except there are some windows applications that still use the Chinese language...

How can we change those aplications language to English? Can you give me a instruction or something?
EDIT: Can you give me a tutorial, how to install this S730 v13 (WM 6.5) rom? Because I have official 6.0 Windows and I don't know how to install ROMs.

if you want to backup and restore using the WMDC ( Windows Mobile Device Center ) try to look at >>> http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc722321(WS.10).aspx

I think it 's not easy to do it comrade, one sekalahan alone can make the device you're stuck! So my suggestion make a backup first, especially for the registry file
