if u go to this video of the new phone, sony xperia on comments i read why are all phones now coming out with touchscreens copying the iphone. i would trade my first child to anyone who developed a way to puch someone through e-mail http://www.gametrailers.com/player/usermovies/174566.html
How to puch someone through e-mail....
1. open new e-mail message
2. enter recipients name
3. enter subject - "You have been puched"
4. send e-mail
Whatever puch is, I am sure this is how you do it. Okay, now for your part... Send child to:
Microsoft Corporation
One Microsoft Way
Redmond, WA 98052-6399
They need all the help they can get.

Dear friends,
I am new user to I-mate PDA2 k.
One of my friends gave my one .Cab file. This program was very useful for this Gadget. In phone pad when i enter no. it would show me the name of contact already entered in my phone book.
This program was available in Nokia Communicator. I lost this program after trying to upgrade wrong Rom, now feel handicapped. If some one can send it to me or give me a link on following email: [email protected]
I will really oblige to him/her.
Thanking you in anticipations

Hey Everyone,
I am looking to send a single sms to specific multiple contacts. I understand that the sms feature in WM6 allows you to autocomplete a contact by typing theyre name as you go, I am looking for however a CAB file or something that will allow me to do something like tick the people i want to send to?
I hope they're is something like this out for WM6, otherwise its a long time sending about 200 mobiles a new number ha ha.
I'm not a often poster, but long time viewer, and i know you all know your stuff and i'm thankful for anything you can tell me!

Don't know if you'd only be satisfied with ticking multiple names, but the auto-complete thing does allow you to type in more than one name. I assume you realized that? Alternatively you can just continually click on "add recipient" and select them all one-by-one, though that's a pain in the ass. I've found the autocomplete for multiple recipients to be pretty fast. Do you not find that to be the case?
I was chatting to a few people on palringo's MoDaCo group and one user suggested Jeyo Mobile Companion 2.0 Demo. It does exactly what i wanted to do on the phone but on windows XP!
I only really needed it as a one off but i would recommend it as a solutions especially if your going to use it reguarly
Thanks for your comments and suggestions though, your all good people!

you can try this software SMS Assistant from QimSoft
http://www.qimsoft.com/
After install, it will add one Menu item "Add Recipients" at the bottom of Menu
Click it then it allow you to multi select contact
yeah I use group sms as well you can find it in the development thread. didn't realize it was included in the 6.1 rom as well.

Hi Guys
Hope you can help.
I load appointments in Outlook and Sync
The appointment contains the persons name and phone number.
I would like to make a call directly from the reminder or calendar.
Using the telephone number as a hypertext link would be great.
I am normally busy driving to the client so I cant copy and paste or write the number down. Copy and paste does not work when switching to phone mode, does not allow you to paste?
Would greatly appreciate a solution!
(using Touch Diamond)
Have a look at Pocket Informant 8. When you set the appointment you have an option in the righthand soft menu to insert contact link. This then allows you to have the appointment open and access contact info directly from the appointment. Hope this is what you are after.
make a search before u post. look here:

Thanks tempest2112, Pocket informant looks like something that may solve the problem, very useful!
Apologies KukurikU, I did look at the link you provided but don’t have a clue what they are talking about. My knowledge goes as far as copy and paste and installing a program
You need to upgrade to a 1.93 based ROM which has paste function in the dialer... (this one did my head in for ages until I flashed 1.93).
Still need to copy then paste though, so you'll just have to pull over for a second... hang on a mo, you should be doing that anyway!

never mind, i guess you didn't get to post #7. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2551269&postcount=7 by pure coincidence is my post.
try the app i am recommending there. i am sure it will fulfill yr wish....i am using it for 3 years and it does exactly what you are asking for. just keep yr stylus on a meeting (for example) and if there is any telephone number in the reminder or in the note the app will inquire if you want to dial it. no copy/paste!!!
sorry for the "you don't have a clue". can't help with that
ContactBreeze PIM Extension not working

Hi KukuriKU,
I have installed contactbreeze, but the PIM extension is not appearing in OUtlook (i am checking teh notes section). I am using the SwiftBL 6.5 version of ROM.
Are you using contactbreeze with the Diamond, and did you do anything special to make it work?
Thanks!
Part 1
nothing special.
first options/tweaks/apply dial menu extension.
second, go to the appointment/task that already contain a telephone number and by "long press" you'll get the option "dial number".
i think the set of pics should be enough. for more pics see next post.
if you still have questions, contact me
Part 2-3 more Pics
Her is the end of my explanations:
ContactBreeze Works now!!

Thanks for the excellent clarification provided KukurikU! I was trying to select the number in teh notes section and then trying a long press.... this just used to bring out teh cut/copy menu item. I didnt know I had to perform the long key press in the main screen... anyway many thanks for your help - issue sorted now.
BTW ContactBreeze does solve the issue of the missing dial from PIM feature in WM6.
The only extra thing I would wish is if it could handle pauses and auto-pin entry using DTMF. For example in many of my appointments I have a conf call number and then when I dial that I need to enter a pass code (maybe 4 or 6 digits).
What I usually do is provide something like +44800345678pp321458# to dial and there is no need to enter information manually. If contactBreeze had this feature then that would have made this the ultimate soluion!!
I got this ATT tilt one month ago. And want to set it up for one relative who is nearly blind but not deaf. So I am looking for a dialer program that can read any number key being pressed (e.g. one for 1) and repeat (pronounce) the whole number (e.g. 18006543210) when the call key is pressed. If the program can also read out the number that called in, then it will be perfect.
I guess these may not be hard for experienced programmer. Probably changing some sound files (.wav) may have this work. But I'm a newbie who know very little about programming for mobile phones.
If you know any solution, please let me know. Thanks a lot.
well...
I just did a software called DTMF Dialer, that does not do the same, but I guess I could hack it to dial the real number and say the numbers as confirmation, I am not a super duper C# coder but I think I can do it, if you are interested im me.
Microsoft Voice command is no good? One can simply call out the numbers to dial and it'll ask for confirmation.

I agree with telegraph. Ms Voice command reads out the numbers as a confirmation, it also announces who is calling when a call is comming in.
For anyone who might be interested take a look at the link below. ATT is offering a deal for Mobile Speak to assist people with visual impairments for $89. The program usually costs a LOT more, so it is a great deal. Funny that I have not been able to find information on this on ATTs site...

I do not whether this wil help- I use Sony Ericsson p990i - with it and P1 - one can dial by pressing the bluetooth button and say the contact's name of-course your sister should record it first (you must help her with that). The other positive thing is if a call comes in and it is in the contacts - then the caller/recorded name will be played back. I am also trying to help a blind guy - [email protected]
One of the great things about the Nokia and PC Suite wass the ability to read and write text messages form my pc when hooked up via bluetooth.
Is this possible with android/Magic?
I guess not then....
I know the Magic has its own keyboard but it is still much easier to type on a real one. It also has the benefit of making me look busy at work
I have written a app that let's you telnet to the android device over wifi to send sms. It's pretty basic and has no other features but sending a SMS to the number you specify with the message you want.
Leave your mail if you want me to send it to you.
Cheers

Thanks mockillo, yes please, I've PM'ed you. By the looks of the response I'm thinking you should get this on the Market!
Never got anything through. Just wondering if anyone else has seen anything like this? A bluetooth (if it can work!) version would be really great.
Sorry for the delay guys, there's a gamebreaking bug in it now, which I cant figure out. And my son is taking up too much time now. I'll send it to you all as soon as I've figured it out.
Cheers,
mockillo
Pardon the delay. Here it is. A really simple way of sending SMS from your PC via your phone.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=O8E6X51V
Just telnet to the IP listed in the app on port 7777, and send:
sendsms¤¤phonenumber¤¤message
It logs to logcat if something doesnt work right.
Cheers,
Mockillo
if u do a little resarch on google (or on Droid Explorer)
you will find this

That certainly looks a better alternative
