Starting to get annoyed with my phone - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

Gosh.. this phone is giving me so much headache recently.. first my PC can't detect my phone.. still haven't fixed it yet..
Now.. when I did a sprite backup restore.. The phone freezes!! what wrong with this phone? It's stuck on the main screen now.. all I can do it press the power button!!

Hey buddy all I can suggest (because this HAS happened to me once before).. Restart or shut down and turn the comp back on, make sure your phone isn't connected. Then soft reset your phone and let it completely boot up. Then try plugging it in and it should sync. If this doesn't help, then hard reset. I know it sucks especially if you have never backed up your phone but it usually is the only fix for certain problems. to hard reset, hold down the 2 soft keys and then insert your stylus into the soft reset hole. Leave it pressed until you see a grey screen and then follow the instructions.

I'm not sure what you mean by "it freezes". Is it your phone all by itself or is it your phone connected to your pc or is it your pc connected to your phone?
Anyway, when there is a connection and your phone is synchronizing, it sometimes freezes for a while, it comes back after synchronizing. Its annoying and mostly a vista thing

The phone just froze when it boots up.. Nothing happens when I touch the screen or press the buttons. I waited for 15 minutes to see if it was only a phases.. which it was not..
But it is fixed now after hard reset and restoring again.

Help Please

restarted my phone at work today and all it does now is go straight to the tri colour boot loader screen. Iv take sím out, SD card out, battry out, nothing works.
Put the USB cable in and it starts on its own straight to the tri colour screen without pushing start button
Any ideas..
Thanks Ahead
Maybe it´s as easy as that the camera-button is stuck? That happened to me with the power button. Now the power button is a bit "loose" in feel but is not active all the time.
yeap
I thought of that, iv pushed the camera button quiet a few times trying to see if its stuck but it didnt help at all, still doing it. If i connect the USB cable with no battery in it starts up on its own as well and goes straight to the boot loader screen.
Its says
WING220 MFG
SPL-0.91.hard
CPLD-7
USB
update
A quick update, if i actually put the USB headphones in the phone and try to start it it works. A restart with them in works to. Take them out and its straight to bootloader again. LOL Also Windows does not recognise the phone when its conected via USB cable when its running. This seems to be a USB problem of some kind. Iv done a hard reset as well, no luck.
Try this: enter bootloader and type "boot". If it again enters bootloader after restarting do the same thing again. Hopefully that fixes it.
hehe
No change. Only way to start the phone is with the headphones connected. When the phone is running and i conect it to the pc i get this " One of the USB devises attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it "

Try "task 8" in bootloader and then "ResetDevice"
(ps do *not* experiment with other parameters!)
nope
When i used "boot" it made a buzz and went to a white screen, had to remove battry to restart, it didnt help, tried 3 times.
" task 8 " it goes dark for a split second and back to the bootlaoder screen. remove bat. restart back to bootlaoder screen
oh after i type task 8 i get an error that pops up in mtty
wceusbsh004 port read error occured
try Hard resting it but juss to let u kno IF U DO THIS U WILL LOSE a last memory u did even phonebook and all resets like new i had to do it cuz i had a prob i could not text n stuff now it works fine after HARD RESETING
doesnt work
Iv already done the hard reset from within WM when i get the phone to work, it didnt help.
Try the hard reset after re-inserting battery immediately at power on.
(keep left- and right softkey pressed and power on I think is the key combination)
mmm
trying to do it but i must be doing the key combination wrong. Just keeps going to tri colour.
I presume you meen the soft keys on the sides of the s730. Camera key and the Comm Key.

No, the softkeys are the two buttons next to the joystick, see here ->IMAGE<-
But I would think your mini-USB connector is kind of broken I'm not sure of course
nope
Iv tried the keys on the side, iv tried the keys on the keypad. i just dont get it to work...
mm
@ Jocky...
I eventually managed to do a hard reset, the problem was it just kept going to the bootscreen so i tried it with the headphones pluged in and then it worked, lol, but on the reboot it just went straight back to the tri colour screen again.. So no help there.

Hmm, looks like a bootflag related to USB is set. The reason could indeed be a physical problem with the usb port of the device. Also it could be related to dirty contacts (both of the UB port and the battery).
I’m having the exact same problem with my S730. Only works with the headphones plugged. I can’t hear nor talk if unplugged the headphones. Does anyone knows how to fix this ???

X1 freezes at load up screen help!

1.) I changed new rom
2.)It freezes when i was using youtube panel
3.)I turned off and when i turn on again wont load
4.) I tried hard reset , taking out the battery and memory card still wont load
5.) couldn't connect to pc
anyone know how to fix ?
well i had the same issue few moments ago. but now i get rid of it by using a very easy method.
- While the phone is off -hold down the front left and right buttons on the X1 and insert your stylus into the soft reset hole all at the same time.
- After i did this i was presented with a blue screen that told me to press R to reset and delete all my existing stuff. Then i had to callibrate the stylus and the same stuff the day you got it.
I tried that way too, after it said restart i pressed spacebar to restart and its still stuck at loading screen...
you press R... not space

R to hard reset, SPACE to restart.
If the phone has finished its hard reset (it's telling you to press SPACE) and you can't just remove the battery and turn the phone on. Maybe your keyboard is dirty and it's not reading the SPA.CEBAR presses
OT: hey poetry, where'd you been? did you sell your X1?
Sorry for my bad english , but it did restarted after pressing the spacebar but it still freezes for some reason and ive done like 5`6 hard reseting it ;/

solved. entered boot loader, three color screen, run task 29 utility 8-12 times, every time connected disconnected usb cable, removed inserted battery and then suddenly update progres was shown on phone. huh. flashing my X1 was easy till today. Good luck to all...

HELP, My phone refuses to boot up.

It started as soon as I received a phone call from my brother and we were in the middle of a conversation when the phone suddenly goes off. I tried to restart it, I even removed the battery and replaced it but when I press the power button I get the initial boot sequence showing the htc logo and then the phone would just go of. I thought that maybe the battery is low but when I plug it to a power outlet it keeps trying to boot but keeps switching off and it just does this over and over.
Please I don't know if anyone has encountered this problem before, I really don't know what to do.

Try a Hard Reset using the device buttons:
1. With the phone off. If it’s frozen or unresponsive, pull then replace the battery.
2. Press and hold the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons and power the phone back on.
3. Continue to hold Volume Up and Volume Down until a factory reset screen appears.
Hope this helps!

Well I just did that but the problem persist. I should note that occasionally it does complete its boot up and I can use the phone but it can go off at any time and once it does this, i cannot get it to completely boot up. Once it attempts a boot up and goes off I cannot even restart it by pressing the power button until I replace the battery or plug it into a power socket or the computer at which point it will just keep booting up and shutting down.
Something far wrong there. Get a replacement device.

Hi, I have got the same problem on my HD7 and I am completely noob to many new words Goldcard, jailbroken, etc. Would you please advise me exactly what you did (i mean flahing procedure) and really appriciate any help.
Well if you have got an O2 HD7, then I would advise you to get one of the O2 ROMS from ansar, download it then press and hold the volume down button when booting up your device, connect the phone to your pc and start the app. More instructions in the HD7 development thread.
There's nothing wrong the phone. Don't hard reset or flash it. It happens from time to time, just give it some time and eventually you will see a battery icon appear. Then after awhile it will boot up.
Again, do not flash or hard reset just be patient. I believe it just needs to drain all the way down as it doesn't have enough power to fully boot.
Not booting up
Hi,
My T Mobile hd7 is been restarting after it shows the htc logo..It was all of a sudden after i connected to my pc this happened ...Tried to flash it with ansar tmobile update..problem persists...Dont knw how to use goldcard..please help me out..

Some serius help needed. Bootloop, stuck, bootloader not working etc..

Hi. To start with I bought a phone from a friend which I knew was faulty but decided to take my chances and try to fix it. He claims he did nothing to the phone but don't know for sure. Phone is in constant bootloop, Goes until splash screen and reboots. Worst yet to come - even bootloader menu restarts on constant basis when i try to get into it. Meaning it goes into bootloader but restarts in few seconds before i can get to factory reset. Computer is not picking up this device but i also don't have any drivers installed but don't even know how to install them with a phone in this state. Is there anything i can do about it? Been with Samsung for the past few years and here is everything completely different so don't know much about adb but am a quick learner and can follow any steps! I can provide picture of bootloader if it would be any helpful.

Send a picture of the bootloader while I find the drivers you need
Seems like battery is completely dead as it only reboots when there is power supply connected, but then it won't turn off (any charging light don't come on, not sure if it should though). Just now i've seen a vodafone logo for a very short second when I connected to pc from charger. But phone rebooted again just after.

edit. downloaded drivers (4.8) but that didn't change anything and windows still doesn't pick up device.
After connecting my one to computer for past 3 hours its started more frequently boot and showing Vodafone menu but still restarts shortly after. Vodafone logo shows on and lights on soft buttons starts flashing like 3 times and than it keeps rebooting. Does it mean anything?

That almost sounds like your POWER button is stuck!! Are you able to completely power off, and it stays off.
I think i know what it is. Power button stuck and keeps restarting device. Although i can feel pressing it, this is what it looks like.

Didn't see your comment but this is exactly how it looks to me. I can't switch off phone and in bootloader it acts like i was pressing power button. Although it operates normally meaning that it can be pressed down. Arranged warranty repair with HTC and they are collecting phone tomorrow.

My One keep restarting and stuck at HTC screen

Hey guys,
So I have had my One more than a year, never root, never install any mod in it, just simple, daily use. It worked well till last night when some weird thing happened:
- At first, the Back, Home and HTC buttons keep flashing along with the screen. When I unlock my screen pass lock and go to the home screen, it showed a notification like "To restart the phone, keep pushing the power button for (x) second" with x is the count down number. After that, the phone is automatically rebooting, then the problem happen again.
- After a few times, I manage to shut it down properly then turn the phone up. As I notice, as long as I doing something with the phone such as calling somebody or checking facebook or simply sliding the home screen, thing is normal. But as I stopped using it, that weird notification pop up again
- The phone keep restarting after that, again and again. Sometime it boot successful, but when Im go to the home screen, the notification shows up and my phone restarts again. As I couldnt turn off my phone, it is drained and out of battery.
- This morning, I put the cable in and try to charge it, and My One now stuck at the first HTC logo screen then restarting and then stuck again. That looping process is drive me crazy. As I try to pull out the cable, the phone is not working (Obviously) since it is out of battery.
- As I hold down Power and Volume down, I can enter bootloader screen. I saw a "locked" banner and cannot navigate through the menu and can not press Fastboot or anything. After 2-3 seconds, the phone is shut down and keep looping.
Long story shot, can anybody tell me how to fix this. As I have a lot of pictures that havent been backed up, I really appreciate if I can keep everything without doing a factory reset. Oddly enough, I cant even do a factory reset since the bootloader is not working.
Please help.
Have you tried a factory reset?
On boot, bottom down n power will take u to fastboot.
You can do a factory reset from there.
HTC sync can save your stuff.

As I mentioned above, I can hardly do anything from that fastboot screen. Up, down and power button is not working as I cannot navigate to recovery or factory reset. Even pushing power button wont do.
When I connect the phone to PC, nothing happen. It is because the phone is out of battery i suppose?
The problem is when I start to charge the phone, it will keep looping. But if I dont, the phone is death and I cant do anything.
I honestly dont know. I suspect you have
Fast boot selected under Settings>power.
You've got to try till you can get into fastboot otherwise send it for repairs.

Because this is exactly the message we usually get when holding the power button for more then 5 sec...
and that would explain the reboot issue
looks like the "power" key is always active
definitively sounds like an hardware issue imo
and your issue is even present in bootloader what confirm that this is an hardware defect.
