Yes i think in the menu. There are a couple of menus that is shown in RUS even if set to english. Camera & Settings is a couple of them.
It would be nice with an software without the russian Apps.
Resco explorer & Opera Mini. They dont sjowup in installed app either so they are hard to uninstall.
Otherwise. A Great rom. Fast and with certificates functioning as they should. No problem with activesync whatsoever.

In the start menu Kamepa (Camera) and настройки (Settings)
Basically that the Russian is replaced with English
It's also nice to add the standard VOIP client (of wm6)

I have the WM6 rom for Mteor (sp3dev and ALEUT) which doesnt except certificates and is not able to run apps that are not digitally signed
I have your WM6 RC1 Rom that has everything and a bit of Russian
If I were to extract both ROMs to seperate locations to cook a new Rom, what system files would I need from your Rom to enable Aleut and Sp3dev ROM to accept certificates and run apps that are not digitally signed
Make no mistake, Im trying real hard to find my way around cooking Roms, would like to give it a go, just need some direction to start with.

To set english language press Start button -> More button (Left soft key) -> 9 -> 4 -> 0 -> 2.

Nice one, but i really dont like the style of the HTC Home clock
I agree, i like your roms, because to work very well, but i really don't like al the visual crap you've added. I like one with the official rom like this, then the ORGINAL htc kaiser home screen, ORGINAL dialer pad etc, and a reduced poolsize, fix for keeping cab files after installation (like in all your roms). Can you make something like this?

I tried this ROM out, X-button issue appears to be fixed now. The only problem I'm having (still) is that on the 6 button HTC Homeplug, the weather never downloads correctly. I can install a different version over this one and then it downloads fine, but I lose all of the skinning that's been done to it which I sort of like. Anyone have a way to fix this, may have been discussed before.

Hello i have a problem with this rom it wil not boot up, all the others rom's work fine but the v4.12.07.09 after update via ASerg Policies stays on the with screen. I have the wm5 allready installed, that works fine. and ill puth back the v4.12.07.08 see if that will work. did any one have the same problem ???

I don't know if I understood correctly but updates from a previous installed PDAVIET Rom usaly aborts with an errormessage while flashing. This errormessage is often overlooked and so people start their Heralds with half-flashed roms. This can't go right.
Personaly, I recommend to install an official WM5 or the newly released offical WM6 RUU PRIOR to installation. Then you can update to PDAVIETs version normaly.

You need to CID unlock. You can use the automated tool I made. Check this forum to find it.
btw, Hikey, nice job on the rom port! One question, how did you edit the build to include Hikey.NET v7.1? I've always wondered how to do that.
Everything is working now, except input which mis-match the keypad. Any solutions for this?

The input method is named "PlumSIP", it is for chinese user only.
if you are english user, you should install et9 for shadow.
Thanks, it works, but one problem thos, it seens dopod c750 has different keypad layout to shadow, which make it so hard to input text.

I packed it.
Really like this ROM. I think the only issue is on the input method. If there is a working t9 english solution, and can switch between Chinese, ABC, T9, number, then the ROM is going to be perfect.

Anyway to view in English?? I'm still VERY new to all this! I work for Sprint but I have the Shaddow and I very badly want WM6.1 on my phone, but being this is the first time I've ever tried to install anything on my phone I want to do it right. I appreciate ur patience in this.
The camera works fine. MMS I do not use and have never tried. But regular text message works fine too. And it can display English.
Regarding input method, I found a trick, the Rom actually already have Pinyin, Bihua, T9English, number and chars input.
The problem preventing it was that the * key will lock the phone instead of switching input method.
But if you install the language pack below, the *key will be reassigned to allow switching input method. (The language pack itself will NOT become the selection, only the key becomes switching the original input method.

The Lockscreen is nothing serious, just a very unimportant optical error.

Thanks for this great rom. However, after I flash the rom and did a hard reset. It is stucked at the customization screen where it say "installing..." forever.
I can't get anywhere even to reflash the rom or anything.
tried the lean cut ver and install fine.
although I was able to install the leancut ver successfully it is pretty much unusable for me. The touch is very inresponsive and slow, I have to press and hold any area in the screen for at lease 1 ~ 2 sec before it realize the pressure. Also phone radio cannot be turned on for some reason . I gave up and now switching back to WM6.1.

From the symptoms you mentioned I think your SPL is Still 1.40.**.
You should switch to SPLV41 ( see the 1st post ). before you install this ROM.
Your Tricolor bootloade should show 2.32.olinex ( Switch off jade; press volume down key and power key to go to bootloader )

Sounds very promising again.
Two things:
1. In the today screen i see "neues SMS", spelling is wrong I guess. Right would be "Neue SMS", or?
2. One question to TomTom Navigator. Is this a free software? I thought one must pay for this. So, is it legal to get it cooked in this ROM?

1) I just translated using Yahoo
2) TomTom is from OEM. No Map is included, you may need to pay for the MAP, depends on operator..

Using yahoo or google to translate seems very often to be wrong.
I think, german users of this forum would be able to help you to translate.
P.s. Is it possible to change the softkey "neues SMS" to, lets say, "Telefon" on the left and "Kamera" on the right like in the original rom after flashing. This would also be a solution for me..

For CHome -> You may use Advanced Configuration Tool -> http://www.touchxperience.com/en/advanced-configuration-tool.html
For Manila2d -> use M2DC configurator -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=427392

great work, bit by bit the ROM is getting somewhere.
1. I would prefer to exclude the TomTom. Some users might already have it, activated etc, stored on their SD...
2. Is there still no possibility to solve this graphical bug on the lock screen?

tom tom can be uninstalled.. use remove programs to uninstall..
will look into the lock screen incomplete msg..
