Nice one, but i really dont like the style of the HTC Home clock
I agree, i like your roms, because to work very well, but i really don't like al the visual crap you've added. I like one with the official rom like this, then the ORGINAL htc kaiser home screen, ORGINAL dialer pad etc, and a reduced poolsize, fix for keeping cab files after installation (like in all your roms). Can you make something like this?

I tried this ROM out, X-button issue appears to be fixed now. The only problem I'm having (still) is that on the 6 button HTC Homeplug, the weather never downloads correctly. I can install a different version over this one and then it downloads fine, but I lose all of the skinning that's been done to it which I sort of like. Anyone have a way to fix this, may have been discussed before.

I have the wm5 allready installed, that works fine. and ill puth back the v4.12.07.08 see if that will work. did any one have the same problem ???

I don't know if I understood correctly but updates from a previous installed PDAVIET Rom usaly aborts with an errormessage while flashing. This errormessage is often overlooked and so people start their Heralds with half-flashed roms. This can't go right.
Personaly, I recommend to install an official WM5 or the newly released offical WM6 RUU PRIOR to installation. Then you can update to PDAVIETs version normaly.

Hi,
I just installed this new version, it runs great, but I was unable to get Biotouch to change my video player. It's currently set to \Windows\ping.exe instead of \Windows\wmplayer.exe. I made all changes as with all previous version but this one does not change the path even after a soft reset.
Going back to version .12.
I'm just wondering if any body else had this problem.

Hey. I'm lookin' at trying this later. Has the auto method for the touchflo been incorporated into this yet? That's the only thing holdin' me back from updating to .12. I know it's not in that Rom either, just too lazy to set everything back up again. lol
...So yeah, just installed the rom, and it seems to run fine. Just one thing. . . anybody else having problems syncing to a corporate exchange server? I can't seem to get my work email to sync up.

That's strange, I have always changed the path by spelling it out.
I will reload the rom and try it again.

I'm using an actual t-mobile wing and active sync works fine, at the same time I've tried all versions of pdaviet starting at .10 and up and along with touch it 1.0 and 1.1 , oem with touchflo added and never a prob with active sync.

Just finished the rom upgrade and yes the sync works fine.
mmm thats wierd only 1.1 works fine for me but pdaviet corrupts active sync u get error message

Hi,
I got the same thing, when i click on the Video button it opens both wmplayer and ping.exe.
Lesson learned here, going back to .12 until some one fixes this issue.

Yes i think in the menu. There are a couple of menus that is shown in RUS even if set to english. Camera & Settings is a couple of them.
It would be nice with an software without the russian Apps.
Resco explorer & Opera Mini. They dont sjowup in installed app either so they are hard to uninstall.
Otherwise. A Great rom. Fast and with certificates functioning as they should. No problem with activesync whatsoever.

Basically that the Russian is replaced with English

I have the WM6 rom for Mteor (sp3dev and ALEUT) which doesnt except certificates and is not able to run apps that are not digitally signed
I have your WM6 RC1 Rom that has everything and a bit of Russian
If I were to extract both ROMs to seperate locations to cook a new Rom, what system files would I need from your Rom to enable Aleut and Sp3dev ROM to accept certificates and run apps that are not digitally signed
Make no mistake, Im trying real hard to find my way around cooking Roms, would like to give it a go, just need some direction to start with.

ok, installed and running.
First impression on first 15 mins
1. looks good!
2. scrolling not very smooth but am not complaining.
3. SMS works but no MMS?
4. The Today screen needs a little time getting used to. I miss the previous today screen where you can see your appointments at a glance. i think it's too crowded. Now I have to scroll down to see the status of calendar, messages, etc. still have to play with it to give final verdict though.
5. Task Manager available upper right and working battery meter, yay!
6. menu changed to honeycomb scrolling. I think it's just eye candy
7. Games are back. Can they be uninstalled? Can use the memory.
that's it for now. will install other cab files included.
Ok. You can change the today screen to original layout as in previous versions.... I'm starting to like it!

This is the greatest ROM yet!
Almost all bugs/missing components from previous versions are fixed. just had to add HTC Network wizard to configure GPRS so I can surf the internet. Also added the sent SMS notification patch and it's working. Did anyone install the additional cab files (flashlite and IE6.1) what are they for?

I have tried previously the WinMo 6.5 with HTC Universal and HTC Hermes but none of those devise ROMs were functional as good as THIS ONE.. SUN_DREAMS ROMS is just perfect.
I have one issue though. I dont know is it my own issue or anyone of you have this as well: I get Exchange Activesync error 80070057. By the first time the emails from exchange can be downloaded and there is no error but by the second attempt to sync. I receive the error... Anyone has the same issue??

I seem to be having trouble selecting wallpaper. The slider is black and not transparent.
Issue # 2 Large white spot in center of start menu. Not the currently selected item.
I have only used it for a minute but my first impression is the New manilla is ok. I think the today or titanium and start menu seem to be less buggy in miri's rom.
EDIT: Sorry another soft reset got rid of the white spot and the wallpaper is now showing correctly. The scroll on the today page still doesn't seem very smooth.

this actually prevents me from installing at all, each time now bb conect says install unsuccessful. WIll have to hard reset because uninstalling your cab doesn't work

Very good ROM But i think i have found a bug:
I can't access any websites in IE, i can connect to GPRS but no "connection". The ActiveSync logo is still visible after disconnecting from the cradle, but with an X under the 2 arrows, is this why the GPRS don't work properly?
Also, a little noob-question? What does the different RAMDISK-sizes mean?

sorry for the noob inquiry. i've had a himalaya for under a week and its my first time to upgrade from windows 2003 to this rom. it doesn't have a letter recognizer in messaging. tried searching but i can't seem to find the cab. i tried downloading and installing fingerkeyboard v2 for vga but it messed up the screen alignment on my pda. i had to switch to ather 6.1 to fix the problem. how do i get and install letter recognizer or a big touch keyboard or keypad to this rom?

I think it is deleted from 6.5.x builds. 6.5 21884 have it.
I think it is not needed because you could type faster on keyboard.
You can install ezInput as default input method, it works well here.
If you can't find correct version I could upload one which works.

thanks for the suggestion. i downloaded ezinput 1.5 no keyboard vga cab together with its language pack. the cab won't install because of untrusted certificate. i installed sdk certs but the ezinput cab still won't install. hoping for other suggestions. thanks.

The one I have is a Qtek 2020, and I managed to install several other roms in it.
This one I tried and it won't go past the qtek splash screen.
I put it in bootloader and the update was successful, when I reset it, nothing...

When you get into bootloader, there should be an info about version, could you tell me?
I really think you have wrong phone.
Also you can take a photo of your device and send it here, just suggestion
