Very good ROM But i think i have found a bug:
I can't access any websites in IE, i can connect to GPRS but no "connection". The ActiveSync logo is still visible after disconnecting from the cradle, but with an X under the 2 arrows, is this why the GPRS don't work properly?
Also, a little noob-question? What does the different RAMDISK-sizes mean?

sorry for the noob inquiry. i've had a himalaya for under a week and its my first time to upgrade from windows 2003 to this rom. it doesn't have a letter recognizer in messaging. tried searching but i can't seem to find the cab. i tried downloading and installing fingerkeyboard v2 for vga but it messed up the screen alignment on my pda. i had to switch to ather 6.1 to fix the problem. how do i get and install letter recognizer or a big touch keyboard or keypad to this rom?

I think it is deleted from 6.5.x builds. 6.5 21884 have it.
I think it is not needed because you could type faster on keyboard.
You can install ezInput as default input method, it works well here.
If you can't find correct version I could upload one which works.

thanks for the suggestion. i downloaded ezinput 1.5 no keyboard vga cab together with its language pack. the cab won't install because of untrusted certificate. i installed sdk certs but the ezinput cab still won't install. hoping for other suggestions. thanks.

This one I tried and it won't go past the qtek splash screen.
I put it in bootloader and the update was successful, when I reset it, nothing...

When you get into bootloader, there should be an info about version, could you tell me?
I really think you have wrong phone.

Nice one, but i really dont like the style of the HTC Home clock
I agree, i like your roms, because to work very well, but i really don't like al the visual crap you've added. I like one with the official rom like this, then the ORGINAL htc kaiser home screen, ORGINAL dialer pad etc, and a reduced poolsize, fix for keeping cab files after installation (like in all your roms). Can you make something like this?

I tried this ROM out, X-button issue appears to be fixed now. The only problem I'm having (still) is that on the 6 button HTC Homeplug, the weather never downloads correctly. I can install a different version over this one and then it downloads fine, but I lose all of the skinning that's been done to it which I sort of like. Anyone have a way to fix this, may have been discussed before.

Hello i have a problem with this rom it wil not boot up, all the others rom's work fine but the v4.12.07.09 after update via ASerg Policies stays on the with screen. I have the wm5 allready installed, that works fine. and ill puth back the v4.12.07.08 see if that will work. did any one have the same problem ???

I don't know if I understood correctly but updates from a previous installed PDAVIET Rom usaly aborts with an errormessage while flashing. This errormessage is often overlooked and so people start their Heralds with half-flashed roms. This can't go right.
Personaly, I recommend to install an official WM5 or the newly released offical WM6 RUU PRIOR to installation. Then you can update to PDAVIETs version normaly.

You need to CID unlock. You can use the automated tool I made. Check this forum to find it.
btw, Hikey, nice job on the rom port! One question, how did you edit the build to include Hikey.NET v7.1? I've always wondered how to do that.
Everything is working now, except input which mis-match the keypad. Any solutions for this?

The input method is named "PlumSIP", it is for chinese user only.
if you are english user, you should install et9 for shadow.
Thanks, it works, but one problem thos, it seens dopod c750 has different keypad layout to shadow, which make it so hard to input text.

I packed it.
Really like this ROM. I think the only issue is on the input method. If there is a working t9 english solution, and can switch between Chinese, ABC, T9, number, then the ROM is going to be perfect.

Anyway to view in English?? I'm still VERY new to all this! I work for Sprint but I have the Shaddow and I very badly want WM6.1 on my phone, but being this is the first time I've ever tried to install anything on my phone I want to do it right. I appreciate ur patience in this.
The camera works fine. MMS I do not use and have never tried. But regular text message works fine too. And it can display English.
Regarding input method, I found a trick, the Rom actually already have Pinyin, Bihua, T9English, number and chars input.
The problem preventing it was that the * key will lock the phone instead of switching input method.
But if you install the language pack below, the *key will be reassigned to allow switching input method. (The language pack itself will NOT become the selection, only the key becomes switching the original input method.

What do you mean?
I have flashed the ROM, but after a hard reset, a grey screen appears but nothing else happens. What do I need to do?
EDIT: I got it past the grey screen. It did SDAutorun after the install, then rebooted device. Now it freezes on the splash screen. This is a terrible ROM...not even working.
I still cannot get this to work.
After it starts and it runs SDAutorun, then reboots, it freezes on the splash screen and does nothing. I have tried hard reset several times but it happens every time.
I think this needs to be fixed by sun_dream.
EDIT: I have it wokring now...I don't know what I did, I just kept rebooting it untill it worked.
It takes a long time to start up.

But I have no SD card in the pda...what cabs does this install?
Maybe you should point out we need an SD card in the pda when installing.

This is a newer build but build 15529 seems to perform a lot better for me.

I've tried installing this several times, including the steps in post 7 but it's still not working for me. I get the following message:

the new beta iss build 15894
it dooesn't include flash support
and it is very choppy

agreed!! tank you Pham. Also flashing and will report back. Main concern for me is blackberry connect working. So far no luck with other 6.5 ROMs

I seem to be having trouble selecting wallpaper. The slider is black and not transparent.
Issue # 2 Large white spot in center of start menu. Not the currently selected item.
I have only used it for a minute but my first impression is the New manilla is ok. I think the today or titanium and start menu seem to be less buggy in miri's rom.
EDIT: Sorry another soft reset got rid of the white spot and the wallpaper is now showing correctly. The scroll on the today page still doesn't seem very smooth.

as far as BBC connect here is my cure for any bloody ROM, a small patch that you install prior to the BBC cab installation.
is it possible to go back to stock HTC wm 6.1 rom if i flash this... coz i heard warranty iswud be void if custom roms are flashed :-S

Also agreed that the today screen scrolling is very bad in this rom. eerythign else looks pretty good to me. WIll go back to mir's though due to the today screen issue
I couldn't extact the file , cause you put the password , so how could I get the password ?

this actually prevents me from installing at all, each time now bb conect says install unsuccessful. WIll have to hard reset because uninstalling your cab doesn't work
