just as the title says, Is it possible?
The reason why im asking this question is my mom. She has the iPAQ and she looked at my HTC.
She loves the Glossy black bars and things like that, But her PDA is WM5
Now im kinda newb to the ROMs on non-HTC's so that's why i made a new thread about. I know you guys can help me out.

the HP iPaq is a totally different Architecture and would not be compatible with the HTC version. the HP uses an Intel Processor and the HTC uses a Texas Intruments ARM processor. someone would have to customize an HP version of it for it to work.
Exactly. It's like running Diesel on my gas/petrol cobalt. I'd love to have the efficiency but it would kill my engine.

As they are Cabs i believe you should be able to install them on the iPAQ its WM5 so i think it should work
I believe that only the HTChome v1.x will work on WM5, not v2.x. And the glossy black bars may require WM6 since that's where the glossiness comes from.
I will update the iPAQ to WM6 because it looks nicer then WM5.
I'll try the glossy black bars when it's updated.
As far for the HTC home screen.. V2.x works on WM5 . Tryed it yesterday.
Ok now i got a WM6 ROM on my iPAQ HX2490b and installed Glossy Black bars and all sort of stuff.
Including HTC Kaiser home screen. But it doesn't works
Anyone in for helping me to get it to work. I only want the Weather tab on there. Since my mom asked me about my icons on the weather i wanted to surprise her with the weather and time tab.
But it doesnt works..

Nice pictures. I really like the front design of the Wing compared to my Terra. I wish o2 would have redisigned the Herald just like they did for the Artemis/Orbit. Let's hope the Herald community is growing faster now after T-Mobile releases the Wing in the States

I prefer the black Terra edition. It is just so simple and nothing more.

Yes it controls Windows Media Player from the desktop without having to run WMP from the start menu

I have tried Searching Reading Browsing but still no luck.
I am a big fan of the Original Keyboard (Screen).
The bluish keyboard that came stock on the Diamond is really ugly.
None of the skin cabs that worked for WM 6.0 would work on the Diamond.
Does anyone know how to get around this?

this keyboard is only new and will take a few months to see any "changes / skins" from 3rd party developers. So patience my friend

oh really? I thought everything for the original keyboard(non HTC) is the same except for the blue skin that came with the diamond. everything else seems to be the same..
Well let's hope someone will be able to make a skin for it
Hi Guys,
I recently put the Sprint TF3D theme on my fuze, and I absolutely love it cause its so uch faster that the at&t theme. However, when you have the keyboard out, the screen that is shown is just the screen seen in portrait mode, and then about 1/3 of the riht of the screen is black. I was wondering if anyone knew how to make the theme fit correctly when the device is rotated, or if you can just get the regular menu screen that all touch pros have when the device is in landscape.

Hi guys,
I'm a total Noob with pocket pc's.
I just got the Touch Diamond 2 from Vodafone Germany.
I did a Rom update to WM 6.5.
According to a member at pocketpc.ch, I got Manila 2.1 with this update.
Now, I am desperately looking for a different theme than the butt ugly red and white that's on the phone.
I see all those custom themes and they are great, my problem is that I have no freakin' clue which one would work on my TD2.
There are so many abrevations and slang that my head is spinning.
I would really appreciate it, if someone here could give me a link to a black or dark blue theme, that will work with my phone.
I tried one yesterday, but it screwed up my TD2 and it took me forever to get it back to normal.

I got my phone a few days ago to upgrade from my tilt 2 and it just feels like going from a Athlon 64 to a i7 LOL
A few things that are not quite there yet like the playstation emulation is no quite on par with what I have seen on Windows mobile..compatibility wise...I cannot get www.veoh.com to play even with Skyfiew and even southparkstudios is not quite as smooth (although much better looking) than on my tilt2 but I guess when Froyo is out the problems with Flash will be gone.
The main thing I want to work with now is making the home screen look more like my Tilt2 Energy ROM that I like so much.
I got the Launcher Pro + but I cannot even figure how to change clock and to show weather animation on the home page like the Energy Rom...or even if that is possible.
Any help is welcome.
PS Has anyone gotten the Amiga emulator to work yet?

The closest I can find to what you want is launcher pro and beautiful widgets (adds the home widget with the large clock + weather a la energy rom) hope that helps

I found fancy widgets which looks just like HTC.
Unfortunately the only live weather I have found takes a lot of resources unlike the one for our HTC phones so I guess I would have to wait a bit more on that one.

For appointments on your home page, try "agenda widget", It's great and very customizable. You can make it look just like sense, but even better in my opinion.
