In calendar appointment soft key options - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

When click on a calendar appointment...
The left softkey says reply and is faded out. And the right softkey says menu.
Having reply is silly in an appointment and not to mention the key is blocked from being used.
Is there any way to make this key an edit key like it used to be in WM5?
Thanks for your help.

Sorry to bump this. There has to be a simple solution.
Any of our registry guru's, do you know where I can fix this.
Anyone who uses their calendar often must be having an issue with this.

Disabling hardkey on keyboard?

Not sure what they're called but I know they have a name. I'm talking about the two hard keys on the keyboard that also activate the softkeys on the screen. When I am sending a SMS I always accidently hit the send hard key. Is there a reg edit to disable the hardkey? I would like to keep the softkey though.
Thanks
Nobody knows?

Remap soft keys in TF3D?

IS there a small piece of software to remap the softkeys on the home screen in TF3D? There are several useful functions that could be placed on the home screen other than the default Phone/Programs. I've tried using the Remap Softkeys for WM5 but obviously that doesn't work with TF3D, and I don't want to disable Touchflow just to get altered keys.

try this
In a registry editor, go to:
HKLM/Software/HTC/manila/
HomeLSKPath, which is the left softkey (Standard = Phonepad)
And
HomeRSKPath, which is the right softkey.
If you change these with the location of the programs you want to link to, and simultaneous change the names:
HomeLSKText = Left softkey text
And
HomeRSKText = Right softkey text.
Thanks very much - worked a treat!

Try this link, it has more info about remapping soft keys in Manilla (TF3D) and also (TF2D)

or the whole thread which has other good info.

Hope this works for you!
so this is for the right soft key:
TouchFlo 3D right softkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Manila
HomeRSKText = Text on softkey
HomeRSKPath = Path to program to run (or blank for default)
what do i put in the open "open" part so i can have my contacts open? and for the text to i just set it as "Contacts"?

its Windows/AppButtons/Contacts.lnk
I can't get it to work
Okay ... I've read all the post that I could find about changing the softkeys and nothing seems to work. I've changed the registry settings as indicated but still no go. I have the TMO TP2. I only want to change the home page so don't need anything fancy. Been updating the registry settings (HomeLSKText, HomeLSKpath, HomeLSKArguments) and can't get it to actually do anything (the text changes). What I want todo is to jump to the Contacts HTC page (really anything other than the Camera - why TMO did you make it Camera?). Any help would be great. Thanks.

change buttons beneath the T3D scroll bar

Hello eveyone,
I´d like to know if there´s a way to change the two buttons beneath the horizontal touchflo3d scroll bar.
I use the bElite99b ROM version and there it says on the left "Telefon" and on the right "Programme".
I´d like to change the "Telefon" button to a calendar button. So that it reads "Calendar" and when I press it, the calendar opens up.
If it is not possible to change it through an already written program: does anyone know if there is a registry key for this button?
Thanks in advance for any answer.
bye,
Thilo
solution found
ok, I found the solution myself while reading other threads.
Here it is:
change the registry key values:
'\HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\HomeLSKText' to e.g. "Kalender" and
'\HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\HomeLSKPath' to e.g. "Windows\Startmenü\Kalender.lnk"
bye,
Thilo

Isn't not true that you can map the keys using Advanced Configuration Tool?
Well, but i aint sure if you can do so "within" an application, instead of on the home screen though.
Try SSmaHO
