Helmi BA WM2k5 - german keyboard

Hello,
is there any possibility to get a german keyboard for the Helmi WM5? I have a german BA (Vodafone VPA III) and i use my slide-out keyboard very often. I have no problem with an english wm5 but without a german keyboard layout is it useless for me.
Is there any way to get a german keyboard "driver" for the slide-out keyboard?
Install this cab and soft reset the device - you will have german keyboard layout
works perfectly. Thank you very much
U guys talking about the hardware keyboard or the soft keyboard?

The Hardware "slide-Out" Keyboard
And is there a solution to switch the soft keyboard to German layout?
Yes, it's the same thing. I have similar patch done for wm2003se, it works fine. Thanks for this one for wm2005!
Installing the cab file only changed the slide-out keyboard layout. The soft keyboard remained unchanged.
Is there any other solution to change the layout?
Hi, the file fixed my hard- and software kb. Thnx a lot! But since i installed, the hw kb sometimes "holds the last key pressed"
It repeats that letter till i press another key. Anybody else has that problem?
Greetz Mad
Sorry Guys
my softkeyboard remained unchanged.

Keyboard from Qwerty to Azerty

I have a Touch Pro that was bought with a French WM6. I update it with a original HTC English Rom update and everything works fine. I would only like to change the keyboard back (probably should have backed it up before I did Rom update) to azerty. Can anybody tell me how to do that for the hardware keyboard and the onscreen keyboard?
I tried the procedure that makes you change the register key but don't work for me.
I've seen some .cab files going around to make these changes for many other languages, does it also exist for Dutch (Belgian) of French (Belgian).
Thanks
Please ignore this thread
Will start a new one cause this is not accured anymore.
i don t know
i know just use BDR to change the value but i am not sure

How to change keyboard layout on bluetooth keyboard?

Hi.
Hope i post this in the right sub forum...
I have a bluetooth keyboard connected to my Topaz to be able to write sms faster
Im using Duttys Holy Grail R6 SWE version rom.
The problem i have is whatever i try i cant get the keyboard layout on my bluetooth keyboard to Swedish, it just uses the English layout.
The bluetooth keyboard is a KeySonic ACK-340 BT.
I can mention that if i try to connect it to my desktop pc its also using English layout. But there is Swedish letters on the physical keyboard.
Anyone have any ideas?
Update: With pc it works good...
I got it work with my desktop pc, (had wrong layout on keyboard there)...
But whatever i try, i cant get it to work on my phone (it always is English layout).
I have the same problem, but haven't found any solution.
Maybe the best solution is to buy a keyboard with english layout instead?
But how to write in swedish on an eng kayboard then
We really need the ability to change keyboard layout on BT-keyboards!!!!

my experience with hd2, mini bluetooth keyboard and german layout

Hi @ all,
i want to share my experience with the mini bluetooth keyboard PX-2563 from Generalkeys (ordered at www.pearl.de) and my hd2 running WinMo 6.5 orig. Vodafone german ROM 3.14. First of all i have to say this keyboard is low-priced and in my opinion this is good It makes a cheap impression and i will see how long it will run. The keys are made of soft rubber, but you have to press it relative hard. So for the first time i am not faster than with the on-screen keyboard.
The keyboard is delivered with a driver-cd. Don´t touch it if you want to use it with your hd2! There is an old version of blueinput on it but this is useless for me.
My solution to get it running and have the german layout:
1. Install Fingerkeyboard 2.1 from this great forum and only activate ger as language in the options.
2. Install AEKMAP 1.3 (it´s free, you don´t need to activate it)
3. Use the .aek-file with the correct layout (attached to this post)
4. pair the keyboard with your HD2
5. have fun
So you will have in round about 20 min. this keyboard running with a nearly perfect german keyboard layout
Infos about my attached keyboard-layout:
This is my first version for this keyboard. Most keys/characters are working. The ALT-Key is NOT working. Use CTRL instead of ALT! (CTRL+q for @, CTRL+e for €, CTRL+m for \). Umlauts and special characters are also working.

Thanks a lot for this post! I received my Pearl keyboard today and was very unhappy with the delivered software and the keyboard layout! I am using it right now with a HTC HD2 and the suggested software...
Unfortunatly the "€" is not mapped as it is not mentioned in the .AEK file. I'll try to get a clue how this mapping file works and maybe the ALT key will work some day
Best regards, CN

OOOPS! My fault. Now the attached aek-file in the first post has the €-sign and you can use it via CTRL+e. please download it again.

Hi,
I know this is an old thread but i'm actually running into the same problem with a French-layout Logitech Dinovo which, when paired with both my HD2 or HD Mini running WinMo 6.5, is recognized as English (qwerty).
I'd be curious to know how to proceed:
1/ choose fingerkeyboard as phone keyboard (?)
1'/ make sure AEK has the right layout selected
2/ pair with external keyboard
The only problem would be: i don't have the french layout compliant with the Dinovo (and support seem unable to help me with this matter). How could i make one ? Does that need special skills or a special software ?
Many thanks in advance...

Hyphen on azerty keyboard

I just bought a a P7 for my daughter.
SInce we are in Belgium when selecting dutch (Belgium) as language we get an azerty keyboard.
So far so good.
She's using the Huawei keyboard.
If she goes to symbols she can see an underscore but not a hyphen.
Maybe switching to qwerty will help but she needs in azerty since this is the keyboard layout she's used to.
I haven't switched her phone yet to use the android keyboard, I'll guess the problem does not exist over there.
Does anyone else encountered this problem and how to solve it?
