Hello, I tried the www.trianglepowers.com for my bluetooth music but it turns off the voice commander, any other apps that redirect music to a BT device without running into problems with MS Voice Commander?
Thanks
Never heard of triangle powers and your link just gives
Thank you for your interest, but Triangle Powers SoftWare has closed its door and is no longer offering software for Pocket PCs/SmartPhones.

Why do you need software to direct your music = what's wrong with WMP?

Does your headset use the "Stereo" profile or just hands-free? If Stereo, just go to Bluetooth Settings and press/hold on your headset name, and choose "Use as wireless stereo." Otherwise, I have used the trianglepowers app in the past; just toggle it off when you want to use Voice Command. There used to be another app called btaudio.exe that would toggle the audio gateway.
I have both headset types, but even on a regular BT headset, how can I redirect all sounds to the headset instead of the built in speaker. ?
Bluecast Utility worth checking out
I have used BTAudio and Bluecast. I love bluecast and it will directly meet the needs that you have listed above, you can find it located here: http://simplesmartphone.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=5&Itemid=6

I am now using HTC Daimond. I install Pocket music due to the functionality is much better than Window Media (OEM). However, when using Sony Ericsson Bluetooty DS 980 with the function Forward or Rewind and even play/pause in the bt, it did not work!!. Whenever these functions were used, the hand held will pop up with the Window Media.
Is there any way to disable Window Media so the Bt could connect directly to the Pocket Music? I was told that I need to find the plugin AVRCP for the Pocket Music. I tried to search but coul dnot make it.
Has anyone had the same problem like mine and what did you do?
Thanks in advance for your response
Remarks, DS980 is equiped with AVRCP
Does it work perfectly with inbuilt TouchFLO music player along with windows media player? Please let me know As I am thinking to buy it.
Thanks

Please don't spread false information. As has been clearly explained in my dedicated article (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=412519 ; it was a temporarily sticky in the General forum), this hack will ONLY help GSPlayer users.

Until today, Pocketmind has not reply yet. Is there anyone know how control pocket music from BT DS980
I have installed this great freeware that enabled playing my phone MP3 music through the BT HandsFree in my car. I needed to add .NETCF2.0 to my device first in order to run it.
I uploaded .NETCF2.0 for your convenience.

I have this program as well.
I actually had it before the 6.1 update.
Yet, it still works as is.
Didn't have to add anything to my phone.
Why did you need to?

Some of the recent cooked ROMs are cooked with .NETCF3.5, and that will deem BTMusic program useless. It will error out if you do not have .NETCF2.0 added to your device.
Haha.. got you!
As promised I will have a look at NETCF 2.0 and this bluetooth thingy seems cool as well. I will test.
Cheers Asfoor.

Hi,
what is this software bringing more that standard feature (when I use my Bt headset with S2P for example, it resumes after a call etc)? I don't know BT tech so well, just got my S705, I would be happy to know if this soft can make my BT life easier .

It will only help in playing your phone music & songs through your car hands-free BT Device. I have not tested it if it works on the hands free headset yet. It is very easy to use, just enable it when you are in the BTMusic program, click on music player and the music should play through the BT Hands Free device speakers you have in your car.
Hi @ all,
is this tool also scrampling the sound like a big hall or a trashcan ?
All tools i found since today make this horroble sound.
Maybe, theres a trick for Kaiser ?
If i handish disable first the profile "BT-Headset" in settings, enable BT, enable the profil again it works with nice sound.

Does not hurt to try t and let us know how big the trash can is?
I know BT has issues w/ the kaiser if your trying to use the wi-fi connection.
Mines doing this weird thing where my volume gets muted lolz... always something.
Does this also work with CorePlayer audio?
Hi all,
My BTMusic expried on October 1st. Please kindly advise what I can do at this moment. Thanks a lot!
I don't use it for playing music through my car hands-free, because the music sounds [email protected] and the hands-free can only play it in mono. But I do use it to play the audio from TomTom 6 through the hands-free, which is very useful.
Can anyone tell me how to disable autostarting of Music app when headphones are pluged in?
Can't find anything about this in settings (both in app and mod settings).
Didn't find anything about this here (or somewhere in the internetz).
Am I the only one annoyed by this "feature"?
Music app starts because of a loose contact in the headphone jack.
Whenever you plug in your headphones the phone thinks you pressed the media button on the headset that shipped with the phone (it has a fourth contact on it's jack).
To disable this I used an App called Autostarts: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.elsdoerfer.android.autostarts
In this app you have to look for the event "Media button pressed" and then disable forwarding this event to music app.

Thanks for the suggestion!
...But it sounds a bit like cracking nuts with a microscope.
What I can think of is to install an application that "steals" the event from the music app and disable autostarting from within this app. But this solution is far away from elegance also.
There should be a quick and elegant solution.
Maybe a short script that prevents forwarding of this event to music app?!...
...which, unfortunately, is beyond my abilities. :/
I don't think you can "steal" the event from a specific app.
The more media players you install the more receivers of the MediaButtonPressed event are in the list so I guess the event is a broadcast that every app can choose to receive and react to.
Autostarts' description says it can disable app components, but needs root access too - otherwise it will be in read-only mode.
So I guess if you knew exactly what the app does with root rights you should be able to reproduce it without the app.
But it's getting complicated again.
I think the easiest and also most comforable way is to somehow get this app (there's no free version unfortunately) and disable receiving of the broadcast for music apps.
Done.

You were right.
I installed Winamp first. Plugging the headphones began to start Winamp. When I turned off its option to control the headset, the music app began to start.
Then I decided to freeze the music app via Titanium Backup, and voila. Problem solved. After restarting the phone even music app icon disappeared from the menu.
Not the most elegant solution, but it works.
Thanks for the useful info!
Now I just have to find a lightweight player that doesn't autostart when the headphones are plugged in or that has an option to disable autostarting. Winamp is not so good lately.
I prefer Player Pro - but yet again - this app is not free...

DeaDBeeF Player Pro... This one?
(Too many "Player Pro"s in Play Store.)
Sorry - I mean this one:

So if u go to Google store and download one of many Bluetooth mono apps I'm using an app called Bluetooth mono. I had to use it with one of my old Bluetooth tooth ear piece. had to make music pass through Bluetooth channel.
If u install this app then turn it on, it open full audio channel to watch. Mic and speaker. So music plays and even voices command with Google now and text works. U can open voice text then dictate to watch and watch voice turn to text. Issues U have to turn mono app off to get give functionality back to watch and ok Google from anywhere doesn't work
I thought this was cool. So I decided to spread the findings sense I did see it posted any where
Ps I'm not a app developer
Ace tip. I was wondering if there was a way to use google now instead of s voice, sounds like this might be a way to do it. Also, as someone with only one working ear, I could probably do with a mono bluetooth hack anyway!

Not sure what you mean by this. Do you mean that the watch no longer works as a smartwatch with this trick?
I recently purchased a Kinivo BTC450 for my car which acts as a bluetooth adapter and has an audio out 3.5mm for my car. It has a multifunction button that you can use to launch Siri on iPhones and almost anything on Android. At first I assumed it would open google search but it opened some weird google app that would only allow me to make calls and send texts but then I realized I didn't have the google search app installed. After I installed it, an intent window came up and asked me if I wanted to use the Google Search App. It works fine, the multifunction button launches the Google Search App as it's supposed to and picks up on my voice perfectly through the bluetooth adapter but when it plays back the audio, it's super quiet compared to the music and everything else. I have looked through all the settings in the Google Search App but can't find anything to make it louder. All the volume sliders in the Volume Settings panel are set to max. I've searched google and seen that a lot of people have had this issue but no one has any solution. Help me XDA, you're my only hope!
