Where can I download WM 6.1?

I have the AT&T Tilt (using T-Mobile as my service provider). The "About" screen says WM 6 Pro. Where can I download WM 6.1 Pro?

Check the wiki. *points to link that says "XDA-Wiki"

You can't. 6.1 has not been officially released for the Tilt.
You are at Xda however, so go to rom development and have your pick of all the custom 6.1 roms that the members here have cooked up.

Just be cautious that you have to have Hardspl installed before you install any custom ROMs. Do some reading and searching and don't upgrade until you are 99% comfortable and know what you're doing.

Upgrading from WM6 to WM6.1

There's no official 6.1, just ported third party ROMs. Read the stickies. they will tell you everything you need to know.

As per my knowledge, WM6.1 is officially released for few smartphones only. The PPC version is not yet available.
For dummies like me,
smartphones = windows phone without touchscreen
PPC = Pocket PC = windows phone with touchscreen

There are phones out already with WM6.1 like the TYTNII. However I am aware that there are issues with some of the older programs like E-sword when it comes to the new framework of wm6.1

This rom(opentouch v7.1) is a wm 6.1 build. very smooth and nice looking. Just follow the directions exactly as they say. In my opinion, it is the best rom out there right now for the wing.

I know. My ROMs have a ported wm6.1 build, also. As far as the best rom, it really depends on what you want it to do for you.

Is Windows Mobile 6.5 worth a try?

Hi,
I have a TyTN II which was originally locked to Orange. A few months ago I tried a few different ROMs, but I found that the phone sent every text at least twice unless I used the ROM that Orange provided!
I'm wondering now if it's worth giving Windows Mobile 6.5 a try, and if so, where can I get a copy of the latest build (RTM I think) which hasn't been messed with (but will work with the Kaiser).

Hi all just one question.
I have a att tilt 8925 I have gotton the htc stock wm 6.0 rom working in all its glory. I tried to find a serial number that would let me down the official wm 6.1 upgrade.
my question is does anyone have it?
or is it really worth is to upgrade?

im not sure if it is worth upgrading since mine has 6.1 stock, but you can get the rom at htc support. goto htc.com then click supportand chose tilt not tilt 2. under down loads there should be a wm6.1 upgrade rom. cheers

Search in the wiki, you can find official 6.1 roms

I most be really slow today...I remember a table with all the Shipped ROMs for the Tilt, Kaiser, etc.
Now I look around the Wiki and I can't find them. I had many of this files and I've lost them all. Now I'm trying to download them again, but I can't find them. Same thing with the Kaiser Radios, that table is gone And I don't know what form if any it has now (I know about the The Ultimate Radio Thread, that's not it.)

Sprint HTC Touch Diamond VX6950

Have successfully unlocked, but still running WM 6.1, and trying to upgrade to WM 6.5, but can't find the correct ROM. FRX 7.1 works great with the internal memory.
Can somebody please reply with a link to an appropriate ROM for this phone?
