You can't. 6.1 has not been officially released for the Tilt.
You are at Xda however, so go to rom development and have your pick of all the custom 6.1 roms that the members here have cooked up.
Just be cautious that you have to have Hardspl installed before you install any custom ROMs. Do some reading and searching and don't upgrade until you are 99% comfortable and know what you're doing.

I have a tmo wing with windows 6 and i am running touchflo v4.17.07.14 pdaviet. i have downloaded HERALD.ASerg.10.WM61E.WWE.03.08.90.6pp. will i be able to install and use this rom? i just purhcased my phone a month ago, and now i am seeing posts of wm6.1. i have looked on the windows mobile website, but couldn't find anything about upgrading to 6.1. anyone have any answers for me?

There are no official wm6.1 Herald ROMs, these are all ported, so you can use anyone, but READ first or you'll end up with a bricked phone.
Plz some 1 can help me to update my WM version to WM 6.1. i dont know how to flash the device, is there any perticular softwear to flash the ppc?

Or you could just go to the phone manufacturers website and download the applicable file there and follow their (comprehensive) instructions. If you want to keep things all official, it's actually a very straightforward process. You only need to bother with hardSPL etc if you want to flash a custom ROM. A very important question you should ask yourself is why do I want WM 6.1. If you're thinking it's newer so it must be more reliable/better/faster etc etc check out the threads in Kaiser General relating to all the problems after upgrading - at least with regards to most of the official HTC ROM offerings (certainly the current UK one is included). I tried WM 6.1 for a while and had such significant problems, I had it reverted back to 6.0.

To me WM 6.1 appearance is more sexier than the WM 6.0. Thats why am looking to upgrade my device in to WM 6.1
Flying Kiwi has a point about doing it officially - I'd forgotten that there was an official 6.1 rom. That said, for me custom roms are much more fun!
I've had both 6.0 and 6.1 on my phones and to be honest, I can't tell the difference.

What are you doing with your phone ......
Having tried both, there's very little difference between the two as far as the TyTN II native ROMs are concerned. It's only the customised ROMs that offer a flashier flash (but you can also get alot of that stuff through installing cabs - full details in the wiki and by searching/reading up on the xda-dev website).

Is your phone unlocked ? Is it a cooked 6.5 or an official ? If it is an official upgrade you can't go back without unlocking your phone and flashing 6.1 as a cooked rom.

The just look around or look in the wiki for a norwegian rom and flash it as you would any other rom.

There has never been released an official 6.5 rom for The Kaiser, So that is impossible. The kaiser he has is unlocked. So you can just download a rom and install it(Should read the post for fully compatibility).

P.S. This isn't the only site I try to help people with their HTC phones on, nor is the Kaiser the only platform I try to advise on. While you are correct in that 6.5 has never been released for the Kaiser, 6.5 has been released on many more european roms and devices than in the US

I have a att tilt 8925 I have gotton the htc stock wm 6.0 rom working in all its glory. I tried to find a serial number that would let me down the official wm 6.1 upgrade.
my question is does anyone have it?
or is it really worth is to upgrade?

im not sure if it is worth upgrading since mine has 6.1 stock, but you can get the rom at htc support. goto htc.com then click supportand chose tilt not tilt 2. under down loads there should be a wm6.1 upgrade rom. cheers

Search in the wiki, you can find official 6.1 roms
I most be really slow today...I remember a table with all the Shipped ROMs for the Tilt, Kaiser, etc.
Now I look around the Wiki and I can't find them. I had many of this files and I've lost them all. Now I'm trying to download them again, but I can't find them. Same thing with the Kaiser Radios, that table is gone And I don't know what form if any it has now (I know about the The Ultimate Radio Thread, that's not it.)
