HTC Action Screen customised !!

Hi everybody,after HTC Sprint plugin,here is the HTC Action Screen :

The zip files generate many .brn files. How does one install this? Move to the zip file to the phone (what directory?) and then unzip? Or unzip on the desktop and then move the files? To what directory?

damn,,it would be sweet if you could change the action screen items and include actions such as vibrate/ring, soft reset etc..

Hi,it's normal it's the picture format for this plugin.Unzip the files in your pc then replace the original files by mine in windows directory on your ppc.

Hi,in all the files must be copied in Windows directory itself.

how come i dont see the words " select a task below " in the action screen?

Change the original background by this one.

How are you? I've missed chatting with you.
I finally decided to give your action screen a try. Looks great, but I was wondering would you be able to make the background a darker black color? I am using the Diamond Mobile Shell skin, and a darker background would match it better.

I made a .cab for the 1st HTC Action Screen posted.
I also re-mapped it to the left soft key.

Touch of Blue

For some reason I have gotten many request from ppl (specially from Elf/Touch ppl) to release the blue graphics I used in one of my earlier Touch-IT roms.. (Found here)
All but one is Grapics only, you must replace the ones in your favourite oem build
It contains:
Cube - blue
Touch Dialer - blue
WMP skin (is added as a OEM package) -blue
Audiomanager - blue
CommManager 12b - blue
Feel free to use any of it Just put in a note where you got it

Uh, maybe a dumb question, but how do I install this? I would sit down and try to figure it out myself but theres lots of files to move and moving files around on this phone can take lots of time if you have to mess with the Windows folder.

but mostly its for cooking

not comm manager, the comm used in my latest rom is diffrent.
but basicly yes, remember to soft reset

Now my Touch is getting a touch of the Blue's.

I've ceated installation Cabs for these files to make it a bit easier to copy over the phone and added them to my post.
here's the INSTALL CABS
I have packaged them separately, you can install only the ones you want... and since ITJE mentioned the comm mgr was different, I wouldn't reccommend installing the Comm mgr Cab.
Just copy the one's you want over to your phone and run them.

[Mod]Battstatt - spanish

Little mod to battstatt,to display battery info in spanish, has some minor glitches with the sizes except large one, and another one that happen when the battery is below 10% the message below that percent has the "_y_" in front, that's because how the numbers are written in spanish. dont know how to fix it without the source code or messing with the widget core.

yea, sure, you need the program, apk manager, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=695701
with this, you can extract the installed apk from your phone to your pc, then this pogram can decompile the apk, with this you get the main files for the widget to work, there is a folder called "res", and inside is another one called "values", there are two xml file in wich you can change the language,arrays.xml and strings.xml.
in that two files you can modify the languaje displayed, be careful when changing the names because of the dependencies with other setings in the widget.
then with apk manager, you can compile again the apk and install it in to your phone.

Make ur own dialer on the go

MAKE UR OWN DIALER ​
hi frndz i was for long thinking how to simplify making ur own dialer on the go, so after help from Henk (team-member) i made smthing that might interest all.
Ok so lets get to steps.
1. Make sure u have sdk installed.
2. Download the cdt.rar from(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1261877).
3. Extract the zip and open it, you will find 5 folders.
4. The folder update dialer is one containing the images of buttons and the folder update res contains a single image of dialer background.
5. Edit the images as you like without changing the size and name.
6. connect the fone and run cdt_extreme.bat file.
7. Once done and fone rebooted u can see ur creativity.
8. For example i used following three files

10. Dt forget to share ur work with others..
IMP : In folders there is a folder named original, this contains original files from ur present rom keep this safe and if u wanna revert back simply run recovery.bat also keep in mind that running will erase the original files created in first run so be careful to keep safe first run files.
Critical update : Copy the attached two files and place them in CDT\UpdateRes\res\drawable-hdpi folde. Now u can also mod the call button. Cheerz

the boot loop happens if u have erroro in "adb server out of date" error...make sure before u flash u have killed adb32.exe via task manager and killed htcsync

I would be good to be able to add your own custom numbers to the dialer, are the numbers in hex code or something like that? cause i don't see them in the dialer, phone or frame and resources files.

Is it possible to create your own answer screen ?? I have a bad ass idea and I would like to get to work on it but IDK if anyone has done it yet, I've tried searching but no luck with finding anything for anyone who has Galaxy S captivate. I hate the stock answer screen its so damn boring...

I believe what you're looking for would be in /system/phone.apk (or possibly in /system/dialeractivitytab.apk). Try tearing one of those apart and see what you can come up with.

I'm a little new at this by "tearing" you mean unzip?? I am going to look in those folders and try just that.

It is gonna be in the phone.apk

You can approach it two ways:
1. If you want to just do image editing, use 7zip and extract the apk's into new directories. Edit the images (probably in /res/drawable-hdpi), and then put them back into the original .apk file with 7zip.
2. Using a tool like apktool or apkmanager, decompile the apk. Then edit the files in the directories it creates, and recompile the apk.

Has anyone been successful at changing this?? --->

Well if anyone wants to know here is an image of it slapped together, I really just slapped it on LOL if anyone would like to be a part of this I would gladly accept the help.
Well to further explain my idea if anyone wants to take it up, the image of the contact would appear on the left and no image on the right just fuzzy as if bad reception like
before answering would look like this, of course instead of codec would be a phone number >
After reading everything I wont be able to do this until I get a new PC and that wont be for a good while :/ (my laptop is too crappy)
