As in title. I checked a couple of threads, but there were only a couple of guys asking for a solution... but no aswer given. In settings menu, we can change the wallpaper, but all it does is changing the Home menu background.
I personally think it should change all of them, so that they would all look better.
Is it possible using a reg tweak, overwriting some files etc?
There is not yet a solution for.
is there a way to change just the start menu background or not have one at all. it looks anoying and its hard to read the menu items. thanks. i just want it to be black.
QuickMenu lets you set a background of your choice in its settings. It completely or partially replaces the Start Menu and is a good launcher with lots of other useful tools.

thanks man but i want something a little simpler. just a little thing specfic to changing the background of the start menu.
the background of you start menu is defined by the theme file (.tsk) that you are using. So there is no simpler way if you dont want to edit the theme file.
If you decide to do that, a good theme editor is http://66.196.80.202/babelfish/tran...hargements/themegence/themegence.htm&.intl=us
(thats the official link from the about menu in theprogram)
thanks so much. where do i find the start menu color and background?
Hello,
I'm on JP6/JPM (namely this custom ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=814091) and I have the following question:
Is it possible to replace the dialer in the TouchWiz launch bar with custom dialer (namely Dialer One) ?
I am able to edit the launch bar, and replace the dialer with another app, but it seems that it must be a "system" app -- I cannot select DialerOne from the avail app list (or any other custom-installed app).
Would it be possible to -- maybe -- move DialerOne to "/system" to be able to do that (yes, phone is rooted) . Any other suggestions ?
TIA for any hints / help.
What I did was:
Go to the applications grid.
Menu -> Edit
Move 'Phone' to the application grid. This leaves an empty space in the tray.
Then, move 'Dialer One' to that empty space.
It is a while ago, but it was easy. I remember not deleting 'Phone' but moving it to the grid because I was afraid to lose it. I'm on JM2, BTW.

Click to collapse
Thanks for the tip, but -- as I wrote above -- I tried that already.
I can remove the phone from the launch bar but cannot add DialerOne in there.
Not sure why anyone would want to use the touch wiz launcher. I use ADW Launcher which will allow you to replace the default dialer with dialer one on the home screen. I am running it right now with no issues.
Hello. I've been trying to find the XML to change these transition.
Like long clicking the wall paper in homescreen to bring the options for widget, wallpaper etc.
And which XML is for pop up imgs?
Such as low battery warning, loading, SMS pop ups.
I would like to know which XML I need to edit to change those transition thanks in advance.
Please don't flame...
Hi
I am on SlimICS 4.2. I tried to select a diferent icon for one of the unlock wheel options, but somehow it failed. Now, the icon appering in the wheel is the default one, but the Rom Control FCs every time I try to edit the options.
It's clear that something is messed up with the lockscreen config. Is thrre a file where this information is stored? Some XML or something like that? Is it possible to reset the lockscreen options?
Thanks!
Please, I would like to avoid reflashing all over again just for one configuration file. No one knows which file holds the configuration of the lockscreen, things like the path to the icons and such things?
Thanks!
