im having trouble puttin in links into the cube. I went to cube settings and i picked which menu i want to edit. I pick the picture icon and pick the pictures and videos ink, but when i go to my cube it does nothing when i click it. My music and video links both work in the cube, its just the pictures that does not work. Anyone have any idea why it doesnt work?
well, now that you've mentioned it, for some reason both my photos and videos buttons don't seem to do anything anymore... both were fine yesterday... :S
oh so i guess im not the only one having this problem. any suggestions?
i uninstalled cube... it didnt really do what i wanted it to do... and would have taken a while to set up properly

Hi everybody, This is my 1st post
Before anybody tells me I need to read, I have (I even installed a new ROM without even asking a question, just by reading).
Now onto the problem, I looked everywhere and I found a lot of people with my problem but never found a solution, so I am trying again:
When I launch the cube and chose videos, I get the HTCAlbum interface but it says: No video found. This happens when I change the registry to look in the folder \Storage Card\My documents\My Videos. I tried everything and looked everywhere and I have had no luck, the only way I get HTCAlbum to display the videos is when they are stored on the phone.
This is driving me crazy. Please help
PS: I have a wing with TouchIt 2.3 (I love it and have everything working on it, props to the guy who worked on this)
Really, nobody can figure out this problem? This is just crazy that you cannot view the videos from your storage card unless you open the whole file explorer thing!

This is crazy I tried about everything and , I have still to figure this one out.
So I installed real player hoping that I would open cingular video and be able to watch the clips full screen..... nope. It just tries to save the clip then it opens it in real player but says it's not a good link. I tried to uninstall but it didn't do anything..and then I just up and delted the ap and it's still got that setting in there. It still pops up trying to save the video file ...
Does anyone know what to do? I can't get any internet options cuz there are none. This just blows! Is there a application out there that will allow me to configure this thing or what?
I am assuming you have a working cingular video cab. There are some RealPlayer versions out there that don't work and give out errors like yours. There is no other option if you want CV then you have to use the RealOnePlayer and it will always ask you to download and play, annoying, but just how it is. Try downloading the RealPlayer fix in my siganture, I know that one works, and maybe even re-download the CV apps in there too. Make sure you instal CV first then the real player fix.
I too originally had this problem when I was using another ROM. If the cab file has realplayer and CV in it, it should work. You really can't load them separately as for some reason it will not work. The cab file that is in the 3.??? mb range should be the correct cab. I looked but could't find it in my slue of cab files.
Hey guys thanks alot for the responses. I found the CV cab file on your signature and I got it working again. I'm back where I started though on trying to get it to be full screen. I'm glad to at least have it back but would still love to find a way to make it full screen...then I've got something.

Someone has got to know a way to go full screen on CV. Esp landscape/tilted view. I mean I like to sit and watch it at lunch and it's so much better if I don't have to look strait down at it.
unfortunately there is no way to get fullscreen on CV, unless at&t decides to do it. Basically the video feed you are seeing is being streamed from them and only stream it to the size you see, i would assume probably because a fullscreen video constantly buffer and be annoying. too much to handle over an EDGE network, maybe in the future when everything is 3G
First off, Yes i did search.
I recently got my Touch Diamond, acctually 5 hours ago.
Now I am struggeling to get music on the device. Been doing it for 3 hours now, but nothing seems to work.
I selected ActiveSync on the touch phone, and then went to windows media player on the PC and synced music. but the device says "no music found".
Exploring the folders i noticed the music did get into the MUSIC folder.
And the application from the disc which was delivered within the box does not want to install at all..
What am I doing wrong? Am I just a stupid retard or does the device have some problem?
well, I didn't bother to use WMP at all. I hate WMP.
So I manually transferred the music to \Internal Storage\Content\Music
Did you try restarting your phone? Did you leave it on the music tab for a while?
I also tried mannually yes. and no it did not work.

Im going to kill this stupid thing I am really getting frustrated by now!

Guys, first go to WMP and refresh the library from there. Then, HTC's player will see the new library. Also make sure you select \Internal.

How do you people copy all music in \internal?
All mp3 files together or something like:
\internal\bruce springsteen\magic
with all songs from that cd
then
\internal\bruce springsteen\born to run
.....

The HTC does not find anything.
This thing will not last any longer if this goes on.. I am very impatient and get verry frustrated and the phone will look like a bashed up diamond soon enough.
EDIT: Now the phone does not find photo's funny, this was supposed to be my iphone killer but it seems that M$ Mobile is a phone killer to me.

It may sound pointless but create a folder on Internal Storage called Music and then put your music in it, do a soft-reset, switch to the Music tab and wait about 5 seconds. You should see the music then.
So it would be Internal Storage\Music\Indestructible (where Indestructible is an album)

When you take the stylus out of its place, there's a little red button inside the hole where the stylus goes- press it in with the tip of the stylus

When you switch to the Music tab, does it say Searching? it takes up to 5-7 seconds sometimes. Also try clicking the Library softkey and see if you can't sort by Artist, Album, etc. What format are your music files in?

It listed my 2 artist 30STM and Disturbed.
Also listed songs i previously deleted the original songs.
Thanks alot! Ill look into how i can get to to work normal later. Now I can finally Blow my arms of at the gym.

I wouldn't be surprised if it works normally from the Music tab now anyway. The phone has now "seen" your files so it should be fine. Put the attached file in your Indestructible folder incase you don't have it already, that way you'll get the album art in TF3D

You can see some kind of waves,and it's only happening when I load some of coocked in themes and only in homescreen.As you can see it doesnt show when I'm in programs or some aplication or when I put some diferent theme.
Does anyone know what might be the problem. I flashed several ROMs today and shame s..t was there. Thanks

Yaeh some special tweaking + super fast ROM from 888 he dumped the HT's ROMeOS. Anyway,its not perfect video but you can see on the center of the screen,its driving me crazy.
You sure you don't have something inbetween the kaiser itself and the screen ?

I've got the samething. I 've always thought that something has been pressing the screen while sliding the keyboard out and it's probably more viisible on some colours like blue on your video
Yes,well said,its only there when its some light colour,but if I put some pic like wallpaper its gone. Im pretty sure that the space between is clear. I tried just to press backside of sliding part of screen like the area where sim card is and it trigger same behaviour
The Kaiser was able to crop photos and rotate them around, and I cant for the life of me stand to believe that this phone isnt capable without spb mobile shell. It wouldnt be so bad if the camera didnt store the photos upside down and sideways , no matter which way you hold the phone.
I have G sensor disabled for camera in G-config and can hold camera straight up and down and the pic store upside down one shot, and right side up the next. same problem if held horizontally. and take a pic. its becoming quite aggrivating lol. If I have missed something somewhere please flame me in the right dir .Thanks
I was a bit disappointed I couldn't find a decent app for this. As far as I know, cropping is limited to looking at a picture in Album, zooming to whaty you want then hitting menu and save screen, which will save what you see on your screen. Haven't seen any rotation or anything of the like anywhere. Perhaps whatever app you used before could be found or packaged as a cab and someone could provide that?

you can rotate and crop with the regular pictures and videos app
The tool you want to use for editing your photos is \Windows\pimg.exe (even most "cooks" don't remove this...I think it's the system's image rendering tool).
if you're like me and you really hate the reduced functionality of the Album app, just edit the file associations with Schap's Advanced Config, so they all open pimg instead of album.

Sry for the late thanks, I didn get a chance to check my thread til today. Worked perfectly, and I learned more about advanced
config! It took me a min or two but I got it and it worked like a charm! Thanks again!
