WM6.1 Theme for WMP & Call - HTC Wings

I really like the Sliding Panel home screen. So I created the Call Background, Call Alert, HTC Green Branding and WMP skins to match with the green theme.
Before installing the CAB file, please backup the following registries:
'\HKLM\Security\Phone\Skin\Progress\'
and
'\HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\'
Incase you want to go back to the original HTC Grey theme, you can just uninstall the CAB and import the backup registries back.
Enjoy!

Nice job. Looks good. I'm surprised no one else has commented.

yes, this looks verry nice!

I cant seem to get it working. I installed it like stated in the readme, but I cant select the new theme in WMP. I have the cooked WM6.1 Rom discussed in the other tread :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=383617

Thanks! I now have a matching WMP and Call screen, but how about the Comm Manager? Is it possible to do anything about that?

the call screen is now working, but the WMP theme is not... do you have a .skn file for the theme?

As requested, here's the WM6.1 Green CommManager to match the slider theme.
Simply install the CAB file.
Since you are replacing the file in ROM, make sure your phone is software unlocked and SDKCertified. I've attached the CAB to unlock it as well.
Cheers!

The file is already included in the package. You need to manually change the skin from Windows Media Player option.

Oh my bad, I unzipped the file on my pc, which hides the SKN file, so I didn't copy it to the phone, works now.
Comm manager looks great!

How to change the touch flo 3D theme?

As a title... I can't find any possibility to change my default them for the touch 3D. Anyone can help me?
Thanks
Me too
I like to change the color of the touchflo theme to black (from o2 xda blue). How to do that? Any ideas?
Tx.
I second that.
All the files are in die "Windows"-folder.
i can tell how to change back ground... go to settings from touch flo then wallpaper.. select any pic.
I found the ugly blue background branded by O2 in the WINDOWS directory (at least I think it is that one): \WINDOWS\stBackImage.png
However TotalCommander states that it is in the ROM and I can't seem to modify it in any way. This is where some more WM6 experienced people would be needed to tell me how to modify these files?
Thanks,
Alex
Edit:
Does anyone have the original background at hand?
An alternative approach I tried: I looked for the filename in the registry, but can't seem to find it.
This is exactly what I was afraid of, as soon as I saw that awful Magenta T Mobile version of the diamond
Well the blue-ish O2 theme is something i COULD live with - it's not THAT ugly - but then again: I wish I wouldn't have to
you can create a file with the same name and extension on you're desktop
eddit it with any paint progam and save it,
Now you can try to copie it and overwrite it on you're device...
it works for me, if not for you, you have to wait until some has unlocked the rom files
greets LuXa
nope, activesync tells me that the drive is either read-only or the file is write-protected...
I would also LOVE to know how to change ALL the backgrounds in touch flo 3D.

I managed to overwrite this file - without success... it doesn't seem to be the right file...
I can't find any other file that looks like the touchflo 3d background - unfortunately...
has anyone found other files that could be the right ones?
for all germans who want the touchFLO 3d in black:
http://www.ppc-welt.info/community/showthread.php?t=131693
it works perfectly on my diamond
why not simply reflash with another rom? as far as I know all cooked roms contain the standard (black) version of TF3D...
because this is not what I want...
although black is prettier than blue the o2 theme looks better (icons, no green borders etc)
I just want to change the background image of tf3d on all pages...
There are already a number of threads with this request.
See:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=401324
There was another thread where l3v5y was discussing which files were the graphics in TouchFLO 3D, but I can't find it now.
Also, ideally, some one would make a customizer that was extensible enough to change theme designs for a wider range of applications. See this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=392184

Exactly just the first background, that makes it pretty useless.
I can't imagine why HTC were that braindead they didn't include such a feature.

yes all file do go in the window folder
looking at the reg it looks like you used the bronzeres.dll
for the icons but I can't over right it I was able to change the cpr and if you do use the bronzeres. do you use it on neo to
sorry I just figured it out you use the colored icons with different numbers
WOW. Nice job! Do you mind if I build on this and use it in future ROM releases?
Thanks Rick for the Shadow_SlidingPanels.zip but I'm having tremendous issues downloading from Rapidshare from South Africa. Is it please possible to upload the file to another site like 4Shared or Megaupload?
Does the battery meter work on the original neo theme.
later today ill be uploading a updated chome changer.ccs which you dont have to press reset any more
now ready to download
not bad. it took some figuring out. as reading the help ccs was pointless.
the zip is missing files as there is no changer in accessories folder. the theme files dont get copied to the application data/home folder.
a cab installer would be your best solution with this, i can make this for you as well to make it a 1 step east install.
however there is a cchome slim.css file that is the changer but the slide theme doesnt look good ....
if you want ill go through and make the default theme look like it should ..
but other then that nice work...

I think I've found an annoying bug with your NEO Theme. When I reboot the phone, the Flight Mode (phone radio is off) is turned on. This is even if it wasn't on before rebooting.
It doesn't seem to happen with the Sliding Panel Theme.
Thanks Rick
Don't use this if you intend to switch between themes
If you switch from Neo to sliding windows and try to switch back again, well, first you can't and second you end up with a blank screen. I had to not only turn the phone off, but remove the battery to get the sliding windows back and then EVERYTHING was reset to the defaults. EVERY change I made, having to type in the MyFaves phone numbers instead of being able to pick them from the address book like the original Neo interface was lost. EVERY custom app was lost. EVERY change made in CHOME was lost.
It's a nice try, but I'd rather live without MyFaves than to have all this trouble.

(THEME) Blackberry Redux (WAD2 + SMS-Chat + FunContact)

This theme is based on my previous Blackberry Bold theme, but, as you can see, looks nothing like the old theme. All of the graphics come from the Storm Precision set I found on a Blackberry message board.
WAD2 Installation:
1. Drop the "Bold" and "Bold P" folders to the WAD2/Themes folders.
2. Drop the "Themes" folder into the root directory of your Storage Card.
3. To change to the theme, go to WAD2 Settings, Change Theme, Set Bold P as your Portrait theme, Bold as your Landscape.
More Pics of the WAD 2 theme.
Now some of the SMS-Chat.
Installation
1. Drop "Black" and "Black_Alert" files into Vito/Sms-Chat/Skins/Bin folder.
2. Restart SMS-Chat.
And finally, FunContact (Not 100% complete, but all the basics are there.)
Installation
1. Drop "black_parts" file into Vito\FunContact\Skins\Bin folder.
2. Restart FunContact
Did you mean to post this in Dev and Hacking forum instead?
Nice theme btw...
Yes, I did. Didn't even notice I'd switched forums.
Re-homed
Dave
Thank you, sir.
what version of sms chat are you using. Its important to say what version cause they add graphics in newer versions and im running sms-chat v1.05 and these graphics mess the look up. Nice work though.

hey this version runs the best on my device so i don't complain about using an older version it does what i need it to do and so far with no bugs. I have tried newer versions and they bug out on my phone.
A couple of requests:
1. Any way to make the bluetooth icon a little more finger-friendly?
2. I don't know if this is a bug or not, but when I choose the vibrate option from the phone, the picture of the phone in the left hard corner disappears.
3. Anyway to get the Contacts skin for iContact Burt Edition?
4. Anyway to get a matching dialer skin?
Thanks, great theme.
Hey oscarbum Can you guide me how to change the skin file please...
On which program?
Great Skin in here I just happen to discover. I'm using Sms Chat 1.25 and I had to redo a little bit the layout in photoshop to make it work. But the problem I seem to have is concerning the gradients. Sms Chat seem to apply a transparency on it and the type of gradient you used for the skin bars is creating artefacts. Any ideas?
here's two screenshots...
I you need the new files for sms chat 1.25 just tell me, I'll sent it to you
thanks

The problem is with VITO's forced transparency on some of their graphics. Happens with Fun Contact also and with most of the Winterface themes I built. Not sure how to get around it.
You're right, that's what I figured, playing around with the theme. And the thing is it's quite difficult to know exactly the conditions to create a clean bmp with vito's specs. That's a bit of a shame, since their original black skin has gradient as well and does work well. And as you say, it's the same with funcontact.
When looking for some Winterface themes, someone managed to create skin files (not just replacing the bmps) by editing the hex code of the theme.skin file. It was easy to find the declaration of the bmp files needed to make a custom skin and I think, somehow it might be possible to find a transparency parameter in this file.

[THE] Manila Tabs Font Colors

I went through a lot of themes and pulled the FONT files!
Have fun!!
Special thanks to NisseDILLIGAF and this post for showing me the files.
Hope you don't mind I made a cab for the black and white to be able to uninstall easier
I haven't tested them yet, so let me know if there is a problem.
any way to get blue cabbed up as well?
thank you!
does this work for all the tabs?
Hello,
I've try the cab files.
I put the file in the internal storage, i execute the cab, i insall in the device.
I do a soft reset, and there is nothing to change.
I've try with the 3 cab files.
Can you help me ?
thank you
Has anyone preview pictures?
I need a cab file only for the home tab, because there I change the wallpaper, so I need to change the font color.
-> the 77faa36d_manila only changes alarm font in Home tab and font Settings Tab. What is with "Calendar, Call History ..." in Home Tab?
For me, when i execute the cab ,it isn't change home tab for the text "calls","calendar", this text is white again so that i execute black cab file.
But for example when i go to message tab, the text messages are black.
i want that the text on home tab change also.
The cab changes the text in all the other screens except the Home screen. For some reason, on the contacts screen, all the text disappeared when I was using the blueish font cab. I just uninstalled it and reinstalled Manila once again. My phone doesn't like most of these cabs because my Manila always gets messed up and I end up spending the next 20mins or so uninstalling/reinstalling to get my flip clock back.
I wish there was a cab that was more (for lack of a better term) 'hotswappable' so I could change things on the fly... without uninstalling/reinstalling. You know, just go into the specific program, select what font color I want to use, hit apply (or something) and viola! I'm done and back to other things.
strongly that it is possible to have a cab file that allow to change color text Home screen because i can't to put the wallpaper that i want.
I wait with impatience.
In installed the black font cab and everything worked except for the calender tab. And for some reason my weather tab just said text at the top and didnt show any weather. So i uninstalled the cab and weather was back and the font stayed black. So my only question is how to i default my font color back when i decide to change my background to a dark color and want the white and grey default?
I have the white font cab for a back up incase but if anyone knows that would be awesome.
I got the same problem with the cabs. I installed the white cab and the weather was gone. I removed it and it was back. Also, when installed my icons under the contact person picture (such as the home, send sms, office, short cuts are gone) Thanks.
The font on some tabs is changed but TF3D keep crashing, tabs aren't loading and the soft keys are getting stuck after going on tabs.
Thanks anyway but its just not working for me
Thanks, Chris

Guys, did you succeed with changing home screen font? I need all the text (or at least the appointment details) to turn white. Is that possible?
This doen't work with manila 2.1.
I managed to change some text in some of the manila files but it's hard to find the right files to change...
does anybody know why these fonts are not working?
or can anybody tall me where to get these manila 2.5 files in multiple colors?
I've tried to above 3 cabs, these did not work after installing and softreset
also replacing the manila files itself did not do anything at all
Thanks a lot

WM6.5.x BLUE SELECTOR for File Manager Other WM Programs?

Hi,
Not sure of the best thread to post, so figured I try the master theme thread.
See the screen shots below.
Can anyone help me with knowing what file creates this BLUE SELECTOR in the various pop ups for File Manager, Total Commander, etc, essentially those programs that are straight WM6 and not Manila related. I found files to get the Manila BLUE SELECTOR, but am stumped on the BLUE SELECTOR in the various pop ups for File Manager, Total Commander, etc.
I am using cooked HTC Topaz / AT&T Pure ROM WVGA, close to stock, with WM6.5.x, Manilla 2.5_2012.1225_HTC Sense, Cookie 1.7.0.
I suspect there is bmp, jpg, png file and perhaps a registry entry to direct to the specific file?
Anyway, thanks in advance for your help.
m0
This is Manila related, as it's HTC Menu Enhancement and not the stock WM menu.
Livven,
Thanks. So how can I get this blue selector and the HTC Enhanced Menu files, cab, etc?
Can you help?
Thank you!!!
m0
P.S. I love your Livven SimpleGloss Themes 192dpi.cab themes!! Blue is the best.

The menu in your screenshots are HTC enhanced i.e. not native WM
You need to modify the corresponding manila files
Find those files, export png using CFCGUI, edit the png then convert it back to manila files
Ok, after hours and hours and hours, I finally figured it out. It was easy, once I figured this out.
Bottom line...the file HTCMenus.png in the \Windows directory is what controls the selector highlight for NON Manila files (the screen shots below are .jpg files). The goofy thing is that dependind on what version of HTC Menu Enhancment you may have, based on of ROM Chef, this HTCMenus.png file may need to be changed, that is in the graphic size.
I learned this too late after finding this thread on the HTC Menu Enhancements CAB files by
Co0kieMonster at this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=508919.
Also, as part of this experience, I learned which files effect the highlights for Manila selectors. These files may be too many, but, I know this worked for me, see below for the list and the ZIP that has these. I found I could just copy them to the \Windows directory using Resco Explorer.
Anyway, hopefully this will provide some help to folks and save them a bunch of time, that I had hoped to avoid, but...
