How can you toggle between A2DP and speakerphone ? - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

Running NoThrills 6.1 ROM.
Sometimes when I'm connected via Bluetooth headphones, for some unknown reason, instead of getting the sound streamed at AD2P to the BT headphones, the sound goes through the kaiser's internal speaker. The only thing that solves it is a SR.
Is there a feature/software that can toggle between AD2P output and speakerphone output ?, maybe if there was such software, I could fix the problem when it happens without SR.

Yep there sure is. Search in Google for, you guessed it , "a2dp toggle". It's written by a company called Tecsoft or something

**HELP!** Problem with SE DS980 Music Streaming with TyTN II

Hi guys,
I have experienced a nagging issue with my SonyEricsson DS980 bluetooth headset.
Here goes: Cyberon Voice Command, A2DP and AVRCP works flawlessly but once a call is initiated, thereafter during or after the call, the DS980 disconnects itself. I have to manually connect the bluetooth headset to the TyTN II again to re-establish the music streaming (A2DP).
I have done several hard resets and also tried A2DPfix, Kaiser Tweak (Changing bluetooth quality to low) and also Jetware Bluetooth Extension with the supposed plugins, but to no avail...
Can someone help?
Can any registry hack / software help?
I have tried some tweaking with the BitPool and MaxSupportedBitPool but still din't work for me.

let's move this problem to one thread

I also have a DS980 BT and same **** happens with me.
Last time my HTC music played crashed and all I could do was a soft reset Have tried different settings with no success.
If I'm not using the player then DS980 seems to disconnect after a call, at least the BT icon is gone.
However, when next call is received/initialized BT icon appears again and headset is connected.
Don't remember if it's still there after second call though.
Same problems I have too...
But my DS980 performs intermittently. Sometimes when a call comes in during playback, it flawlessly switches to the phone call, and then switches back to music after the call ends... However, this only lasts for a little while, and then it reverts back to the usual fault (headset disconnecting after a call and music plays through the device's speakers).
Sounds really silly... wonder what is causing it...
Please, is there someone here that can help us out? Must be some Bluetooth tweak that allows the device to rediscover the headset after a call....

HELP! Need a way to route ALL audio to headset thru MS Bluetooth

Hey people. Having a bit of a problem here. I've got a single ear bluetooth headset that i'm trying to route audio to.
Telephone calls work fine but I need the ability to route notification / confirmation sounds and raw music streams (basically all audio) to the headset.
I've tried a few solutions (VJvolubilis, bluemusic-etc) but every time I enable the audio gateway, I just get a hissing sound that plays over the headset, while all other sound is routed thru my hima.
I was thinking about configging the headset in the registry to support wireless stereo but wouldn't have a clue what settings to enter.
Could someone provide some advice (or a regkey for wireless stereo) on how I could go about routing all standard audio?
Oh BTW, i've tried the broadcomm stack for hima. Apparently the wavedev.dll file included doesn't know how to either recognise the widcomm stack, or work with it to route audio.
Can someone with a wireless stereo headset post a reg backup of their HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Bluetooth directory?
Also anyone with working streaming standard audio to a single ear BT headset, please post both your audioGW.dll & wavedev.dll from \Windows.
I would think that your BT headset does not support the A2DP proflie and therefore cannot be used to stream BT audio.
My stereo BT headphone works just fine using the MS BT stack since WM 5.0 AKU 2.X
Sascha
SaBo, the headset is NOT a stereo BT headset. It's a single-ear handsfree headset (the apple bluetooth headset to be precise).
I know it WILL work with all routed audio because i've synced it with a friend's HP PDA that had a native BT stack and all audio (including mp3s and notifications) played thru the headset.
I'm not trying to enable A2DP, i'm trying to force the phone to route all audio thru the mono earphone of the headset.
Anyone else have any ideas?
As I know, it's impossible in himalaya because of technical reasons.

Afaik it's not possible on Himalaya.
You will need an A2DP Headset and it will work.
Sascha
I know for sure it can be done. I had other issue, but that was the point.
you have to change some registrity entry, a don't remeber which, as soon as i find it i'll post it for you.
Here is a hack: try it
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=257415
http://foro.todopocketpc.com/showthread.php?t=128642
Andur, no luck on those 2 hacks.
Tried em both. Nothing happened.
The second hack, i enabled BTAudioOn.exe. All that happened was a hissing sound (kinda like background noise/static) started to play outta the headset, while all other sound kept playing outta my Hima.
Any other ideas? Or even better, any ways to fix the widcomm stack so i can use that to route audio? This MS stack is so useless.

TomTom7 and Car Holder -No Sound!!?

Hi all!
I have TomTom7 installed which is working fine (almost).
When I place my Diamond in the car holder (three way output w. USB-Charge/USB-Headphones/3,5mm Headphone) all sounds from my phone are muted (believed to be connected to a headphone I guess).
I could connect the phone to the car audio system via a 3,5 mm audio plug, but then I cannot listen to the radio at the same time as navigating with TomTom.
Is there any known way to solve this so the TomTom7 directions and warnings are always routed through the Diamond internal speaker?

i have this carholder too, it's from brodit right? It's true, the moment you plug in the diamond it thinks it's connected to a headset, so no sound from internal speaker. Ideal for listening to music when connected to your car stereo ofcourse, but when receiving a call you have to take out the diamond, because the sound goes through the car speakers (if the output is connected to your car stereo ofcourse) but you can't talk back because diamonds mic is also muted! I hope there is a way to solve this. Maybe a little program that allows you to direct sound and mic settings?
It's also a similar problem with the little USB to 3.5mm audio adapters, they make the diamond think there is a mic plugged in when there isn't and when someone calls you while you're listening to music, they cant hear you unless you unplug the headphones.
I've also noticed that when the diamond is in my car and connected to my bluetooth kit, the calls come via bluetooth but TomTom does not, this particularly annoys me, as when I'm listening to loud music I miss the speed camera alerts and also obviously cant hear the voice directions.
There seem to be some fairly serious shortcomings in this area. A simple set of options that let the user choose what he/she likes would be best.
Yepp Glenner, it is a Brodit car holder!
A program to solve this as you mention would be great!
Anyone got the skills to solve this?
Yesterday driving home from my work I noticed that the ring tone on an incoming call was heard even when the phone was placed in the holder...
So there must be a way to have the sound re-directed to the internal speaker???
Solved!
Try this little program http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-btmusic.html It sends audio from you diamond to either BT headphone or speaker. Just tried it and seems to work fine, but does need .netCF 2.
Best of luck!
Hi, this BT music doesn't seem to work with my car kit... My car kit supports HFP profile (Handsfree profile)...
What did you do exactly to make it work?

if you rename btmusic.exe.config (not btmusic.exe!!) you can run it too with .NET CF 3.5
Trick i learned from the developer of BTMusic.

Rename to what?
I figured it out. Renaming btmusic.exe.config to btmusic.exe.configx does it.

Reroute sound to bluetooth mic?

So, I've been trying to use my BT headset and a voice recorder but Diamonds seems to use only its internal microphone and not BT's one. Jabra BT 3030 (dogtag) is the device I'm using. There are wireless stereo and handsfree profiles in BT settings which are both checked.
Why I can't record my voice with Jabra? Is there a software way to make it use Jabra's microphone?
Apart from this everything else (calls and streaming music) works fine.
No ideas? Anybody? I sent the problem to Jabra/HTC support but didn't get nothing concrete as an answer.
I can't believe that bluetooth device's microphone can't be used for recording?
The same thing worked on Symbian Nokia device I used before...
The answer...
is VJVolubilis

I tried it to make it possible to talk with voiceclips in the live messenger, trough the headset, works perfectly. Axel

Help using bluetooth headset with xperia x1

Hi, i have spent some time searching now and since i couldn't find this anywhere i decided to post here, hope someone can help me.
Recently, i bought the official sony playstation 3 bluetooth headset (http://www.us.playstation.com/PS3/Accessories/SCPH-98095) and i have connected it to my xperia x1 through bluetooth (running with itje's touch-it xperience v13.2), the problem is, it only outputs sound for the voice calls, i can't listen to music on it or the normal phone sounds. I know it would be mono sound and not high quality, but i would like to listen to the sound anyway sometimes because its better then leaving it silent.
i have tried in the bluetooth configuration window, clicking in advanced, editing the wireless device profile, thre it was marked hands-free, i clicked refresh and headset appeared, i marked it, then the headset disconnects. when i reconnect it, it auto demarks headset, or it doesnt connect.
I have looked around to see if it was the bluetooth headset problem, but i have not seen anyone else complaining about this or even mentioning it can't play the phone sounds (just some complains about the ps3 sounds not outputing but thats the ps3 fault), and i have also searched to see if it is x1s fault but haven't managed to find an answer as well, so if anyone can plz help i would really appreciate it. Thanks.
thats pretty much because its no BUG.
what u want is a a2dp headset. something tells me that the ps3 headset doesn has this feature. normal headset just route voice calls while a2dp headset route everything.
actually, i didnt use the word bug because i though that might be the case
it has the headset and handsfree profile, not a2dp, but what i wasnt sure if it really needed to have de a2dp profile to output normal sounds, from what i've read it seems it is needed to output stereo high quality sounds, but just sounds with low quality would work for me, thats why im asking, i though the headset profile would be enough for that.
so if i get your message right, unless it has specifically the a2dp profile, there is no other way of making the sound output on the headset, low or high quality?
now i know there might be a way to make it work.
i was listening to some music today using the music player that comes with touchflo 3d, then i pressed the talk button of my bluetooth headset to issue a voice command (with the microsoft voice command program), then the music started playing in my headset while it was waiting for the voice command, once it got the command the music went back to the phone.
Does anyone know any way to make my headset keep playing the sounds, or could at least explain what happens when i press the talk button so i have an idea of where to look to see if find a way?
no one can help me with this? not any tip or a way to select a different output for audio or anything like that?
Also an issue with Audio Gateway
I have tested this issue on two seperate headsets, and so far can get the Xperia to work ONLY as hands free. Seperate phones sperate headsets. The other phone pushed audio thru to the headset whereas the X1 only routes calls.
I also cant find much of this on XDA or anywhere else?
Help?
Regards
i used an ad2p software downloaded from here when i had this issue with my lg ks20. But i havent the gut or im just lazy to try this app on the x1. Maybe u should give that ad2p software a try.
