Intellidialer and Intellipad for O2 IIs?

Hi ,
I'm a new user of PPC and wondering if there anyone here to tell me if there is a better dialer and SMS pad for my o2 IIs. I realise the O2 mini have that feature of intellidialer. It really save time to access to the contacts just like normal mobile does.
Are there any download of the dialer and the sms pad? can anyone help me on the step by step of the installing and setup part?

i have downloaded the 2 said cab files from the magician section of the ftp site and they work fine on my IIs

Hi there could you tell me what is the name of those cab ? I couldn't find it on the ftp site :roll:

SmartDialing_WWE_RC11 and PhonePad_WWE_RC10 they are in the /Magician/Extended-roms/Extended-rom-xdaII-mini/ folder there maybe newer versions but i wanted the o2 versions to go with my o2 IIs

Okay guys..shed your wisdom... If you were in my shoes trying your hardest to start your career...what do you do when there are no jobs and no oppurrunity for us teens with no experience? How the hell am I supposed to compete against guys with 10 years experience willing to work for 20 an hour?

Yes I interned at 16 when I was legally able to work... They let me sit with machinists and watch them machine in return for me cleaning up metal chips and sweeping.. Thats where I got the interest in machining engineer work

wuh oh, I am going to have to warn as many of my mates off this phone as possible now that it is here. Thanks for the heads up. I heard they were going to hit our shores fairly soon.
Perhaps it is time to get some of the facts translated about the video issue into Japanese and dumped out into the forums. All the phone otaku may stay clear of it.

sounds like something from Softbank, i mean S11HT kinda goes along with their naming scheme, does japan in general give the HTC phones the HT suffix

What is your point? the S11HT phone is different from the ones outside in the rest of the world?
Can you explain us a little bit more?

Do you have any basis to talk against the S11HT? Any basis? Because if you haven't, then what you are doing is encouraging bad vibes around here.

Just look up the threads on htcclassaction.org.etc.
If you look in the kaiser forums here for 5 minutes, you cannot escape the graphics drivers issue.
Having said that, the phone does what I want and I still consider it my best option.

No video driver to be released

i spoke to a htc service rep and he confirmed that no driver will be released to address the video problems and that the matter is considered closed. also, he metioned that microsoft is also taking htc to court over the video issues.

So the matter is considered closed, although their main OS supplier and partner is taking them to court over it. Sorry, that doesn't make a lot of sense. I can believe HTC are ignoring the issue, but not that MS are getting involved - I don't think they could ignore that if they did.

Calendar 'dialogs'?
You know you can enable those white "bubble windows" that pop up on receipt of new SMS messages etc. I'm *sure* years and years ago when I first used Window Mobile that calendar reminders popped up in similar bubbles.
How do I enable them? At the moment all I get is my alarm goes off, which just leaves an alarm icon in the top menu bar for me to click on, but I want the brief details to appear in a bubble - is there a reg setting for this?

I wonder, that small transparent piece of plastic built into to the earpiece. Is that an LED?
If yes, mine doesn' t blink or anything. Should it? And if yes, when?
I had an HTC Wizard before which blinked green when I had signal and orange when charging or a message received.

FM radio sucks! Anyone has this problem as well?
Practically useless radio. Even out in the open, the reception is basically like "shortwave radio". Even with the strongest of channels, I can barely enjoy anything.

Every battarie will be loaded in the same way; there is no software which controls the voltage based on the battarie!!

I posted my share of stupidity. I believe we all did.

I was scheptical so i reserved myself to the idea that we should really make a harmless joke app that shows you the batt is charging. Then see how many people download it.
Also could you guys tell me how to modify the registry so my phone heats up more because want to put it in my cofee every morning.

storage(4gb) is enough for install xp so maybe it is posiblle?

No, it only supports Windows 3.11 for Workgroups for now...

i did it too, no need for registry, install the cab and put more sugar in the coffee
worked for me

well theres a photoshop mobile for most phone so who knows if there will be a mobile limewire or ares

i dont see why it wouldnt be possible especially with 3g, but it would probably violate some sort of data service contract agreement that tmobile gives you

its been done on iphone already and windows mobile theres pleanty of software p2p but just not for android iam sure someone will make it soon but i think it will not appear on the andriod market place and t-mobile wont care they just enjoy getting there money every month

Its arguable the word are interchangeable

There is andtorrent that lets you download torrents

1 - Gnutella sucks
2 - No reason except the obvious to use this, Gnutella isnt a means of legal distribution, BitTorrent can and is actually used for a legal means, fairly often too.
3 - there already are BT clients for android, but AFAIK, none are very good, check out ABTC on the Market.
