I really like the HTC home page pluggin. The big clock and the tabs on the bottom are quite useful. Does anyone know how I can add 1 more contacts tab to that inteface. I dont care for the weather tab, so I'd like to replace that with another contacts contact.
Is this possible to do?
Can you some of the Geniuses on this site, make such a thing please

Htc home customizer, you cant ad another contacts tab, but it allows you to change the tabs, as far as i know you cant have more than 1 contacts tabs on the home plugin.
I want it to be like Mobile shell 2's contacts tabs
I used to use Mobile Shell to do the multiple contact tabs. But, I am a fan of the HTC inteface and want to keep it.
Anyone have any ideas to do this?

I have installed HTC home plug-in on my AT&T Tilt. Did the exchange sync. as all my contacts are in Exchange server. On the contact tab, I added my fav. contact.
When I tried to call any of the contact from my Contact/fav. tab, it is always dialing their Mobile no. All the contacts have mobile no., home no. and business no. For some of the contacts. I want to dial their home no. FIRST.
How do I change the order of field in contacts? I already tried in Outlook 2007, in business card view it let you change the order of field but it's only for the view. It doesn't do any thing after syncing with Tilt.
Any one has idea how to fix this?
Thanks in advance!!
if you are talking about the favorite people tab on the home screen, when you allocate the person, and you have a few telephone numbers, it will let you select one number to be used as shortcut.

You need to install the latest version of HTC home, the one with 6 tabs: Home, favorites, weather, programs, telephone ring type and music tabs. Then it will prompt you to pick the number of your choice when you add people to your favorite buttons. Previous versions did not allow this.
Yes, I have the latest HTC home plug-in installed with 6 tabs.
Ver. is HTC Home v.2.0.814.722.
I installed HTC home plug-in from here http://www.pocketemu.com/downloads5.html, then installed the HTC Home customizer from pocketemu.com.
First off i appoligize if this is a repost; I spent the last hour searching before I had to break down and post. I have HTC HOME today plugin and am using Goodlink as my email server. My want/hope is to get the email icon in the home plugin to route to goodlink instead of standard email box. Is this possible? Goodlink puts a seperate email plug in on the today page so can they be merged? Thank you for any help that can be provided!
THe last email inbox you view is where the home email icon should take you. SHould be a little star beside it, and make sure to uncheck "show accounts chooser" box (somethign like that) in outlook so that you don't have to select that accunt each time.
Thank you for that information. When i can finally talk IT to allow direct exchange sync that should work perfectly. Yet for now I am still stuck with the problem since GoodLink is managed by it's own seperate program and does not integrate into pocket outlook in any way. Is there a way to customize the plugin to associate to a different program all together(goodlink instead of pkt outlook?)

Oh i understand now.
Well, not that I know of.
Someone changed the path of the SMS icon on the home screen, but I don't know how that was done. Through a reg edit somewhere I am sure. It was in the Alex roms thread somewhere.
You will have to look around for that, I am unsure how to do it, even though Id like to know too.
I've been looking for this also. Haven't been able to find it in the registry in the places you'd think to look. I want to force the link to always go to the exchange email instead of possibly MMS or SMS (I mean there's a direct link to SMS why would I want to go there when I click email even if I'd happened to be looking there last).
I would know if someone can explain what does the manila file i've attached (outlook/gmail icon) I've never seen it working.

Thanks in advance.
Sorry if it's a wrong section to ask

The three on the top left are from the email tab on TF3D(manila) that are on the right side of the envelope in the middle of the mail screen tab. The one with the pencil is to create a new email. The other two alternate to show which account is selected. The larger one top/middle looks like the manila slider. The others I guess will only show if you have a gmail account or are using outlook.
Hi. First thanks for this rapid answer. My question was how to use the email icon, I know for the others, and of course if I ask, it's because my 2 emails accounts are outlook and gmail, but manila don't use this to show the email account I don't know why.
I can remember that it was activate in tf2d.. But never with sense?
I have an HTC Touchpro 2 with windows mobile. The touchflo bar at the botton of the HTC Sense homepage is nice with one exception...the inability to change default programs.
Let's start with the webbrowser for example. I do NOT like Opera. As a matter of fact I use Skyfire. Currently it's sitting in the PROGRAMS tab and then I have to choose the browser from there. I would like to set it up so that I can just go to the internet tab and hit the planet/web icon and it will launch skyfire instead of opera. Is this doable?
Then there are the bookmarks on the internet tab. I don't want this to be a political thread, so don't make it one. It comes programmed with CNN and ESPN on there. Well one, I do not like CNN and I'd much rather put FOX on there. Second, I don't much care for sports so I'd like to remove ESPN altogether. It would be nice if I could add my own bookmarks.
What about the other programs? Can I change the default calender? What about the text program? The text program is ok but when I am sending a message to 10 people, I dont like having to type in each number or go select each name one at a time. I'd like a text/multimedia program that will let me select multiple recipients.
I know this is a lot to ask but once you point me in the right direction, I'll get it. Thanks in advance for the help.
~Mike
I am eager to know the answer?
hello
you have to go to opera settings and uncheck the default program. then you have to open skyfire and check default browser and that's it. for the bookmarks you can remove them from the list. you have to open the bookmarks and go to menu and go to remove then you check the bookmarks that you want to remove.
Does anyone know of an app that will allow multiple widget instances or a widget view that isnt every calendar I sync with. I am looking for something that will allow me to view my personal calendar on one screen and other calendars I subscribe to in another. Month view is perferred if possible. Thanks in advance for any info.
Android Agenda Widget might be worth looking into. I don't have multiple calendars so I can't test it out but under the settings there is an option that says"Widget calendars independence - Have separate calendars for each widget"
Not sure if month view is possible.
Definitely going to second Android Agenda Widget. Takes a bit of time to setup, but you can customize it quite a bit and get it to look just the way you want. I currently have three of the widgets setup because I use several calendars and it works great. I'm also not sure about the monthly view, I know you can set how far ahead it "looks" and do a few other things to that extent, though I'm not sure if that's exactly what you're looking for. Either way, definitely give it a shot, it's a great app!
Pure Calendar also allows you to select which calendars it displays
I use Android Agenda Widget, but I can't get any of my calendars besides (my email) and U.S. Holidays to show up. When I go to Google Calendar (the site, not the app), I have a Birthdays/Anniversaries calendar, in addition to a few sports calendar. How do I get those to show up as well?
Thx 4 all the input but the list view of all events is not quite what I was looking 4... visual week or month... something like what u might find n a paper planner is closer 2 the overall goal... did try it and I must say Android Agenda Widget was the best of its kind I saw... and 2 linkraceist
