UNLOCKin...Kaiser/Tilt & HSDPA - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

HI Folk
got a problem unlockin' a TILT using the Super CID tool...it doesn't work...gets stuck on first screen...is it the most efficient way available?
NO HSDPA PANEL IN CONNECTIONS TAB on a ATT tilt...but IN there in HTC with WM6 PRO

Does this happen?
1. Make sure you installed HardSPL as follows: power off and then press power on while keeping camera pressed, this will enter the so called bootloader mode and you see a tri-color screen (Red, Green, Blue). You should see "SPL-1.0 OliPof" on the second line in the top left corner. You can exit this mode by means of a "soft reset": press the reset button with the stylus.

do you get SPL-1.0 OliPof?

tried many times...but doesn't work
it gets stuck on white screen...with percentage bar....(doing this via usb) still on SPL 1.56...luckily reboots ok!

well for me everything ran fine except for it never displayed "Security unlocked" at bootloader while running wm6.1. However once i downgraded to wm6 everything worked fine ... see if this helps you

I Think I Messed Up My Tilt While Unlocking Help!!

ah! i was using the unlocking program from the forums to unlock my tilt. i got to the 2nd step. and then from the 2nd step when it was restarting it showed the att start up then the 3g start up then it stays on a black screeen. i took out the battery and tried again and same thing. it stays on the black screen. i even reset the phone and same thing! idk what to do!! please help!
cid or sim unlock?
If it is the sim unlocker, which I think you are using the second step is to check your radio. Therefore, this is occurring possibly because you installed hardspl. Try a hard reset then search this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334679
yes i was doing the sim unlock. idk how installed hardspl. (im farely new to the whole windows mobile deal)... i tried doing the hard reset but it does the same thing. (hard reset = green button, red button and power button all at same time?)
no that does not equal hard reset. Didn't we go over this with you already?
Hold down both soft keys and insert stylus. soft keys are the two keys that have horizontal lines or dash whatever you want to call it. So hold those two down then insert stylus. You will receiving a warning. When you receiving this warning hit the green button. Then you will receive a notification to hit the green button again (the send key).
i did the hard reset, windows mobile installed, and it went back to the black screen.
so now what?

I had the same problem u have to flash your original rom back to normal for evrything to go back, hard reset wont work.
Just stumbled on this thread as well so I thought i'd add a little information. I had this Exact same problem. Black screen after step 2. I went ahead and tried to do the 'unlock' of the phone even though i couldn't see anything. I dont know if it worked or not, but whatever. Did a reset, still black.
So I went ahead and flashed HardSPL 3.29, still black as I expected.
I THEN installed a WM 6.1 cooked rom that requested said HardSPL to be precise it was this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=416276
Anywho after flashing that rom, everything was good again, the screen worked as it should etc.
My guess was that the Hard SPL was screwing things up because my phone was still on the original ATT WM 6 rom.
Anywho, all is well. I hope this helps someone else down the road.

[Solved]Still no Brick!!!

Hi People
I think I have really bricked my Diamond for sure. I have read all the threads related to this problem and have tried all the possible fixes but to no avail.
Here is the problem: It is stuck on the first screen after tri colour screen showing the RGD info in red ink at the bottom right cornor. Pc wont recognize it and Active Sync 4.5 on xp is grey, not green.
I have done a few Hard resets and Soft resets. I have Olinex Hard Spl installed. Had Dutty's 1.6 working perfectly when decided to cook my own with Surface Kitchen. My first cooked rom worked fine and then I cooked another one with same base Stock rom , adding som programs and bam, this thing happened.
Please Help Help and yes I had flashed the same Diamond with every available cooked rom with no problem.
Thanks in advance. Lets not Die this beautiful Jewel.
Anyone please?

Can you get it into bootloader mode??? If so, you should be fine to re-flash at that point.
I can get it to tri colour screen but it wont sync with pc ...?

So after getting to the tri-color screen and then plugging in the USB cable, you do not get "USB" at the bottom of the screen?????
Thanks for the quick reply..
Ok here is what I am doing. I perform the hard reset. Get the tri colour screen for couple of seconds and then it comes to the screen where it asks to press Volup to restore. I did it with the usb connected and usb disconnected but it wont sync. Active sync icon at the bottom on pc stays grey not green.
Pressing Volup on diamond restores, reboots and brings it back to 1st splash screen with RGD info at the bottom in red ink. aaaaah
When you are in bootscreen, connect via usb.
In the bottom off your screen you should see "usb"!
If this is what you see then flash one of the stock roms again.
After you've done this, your Diamond restarts and everything should be OK again!
Good luck!
Ok, do this:
1. Unplug the USB cable from the phone.
2. Hold down the Volume-down key and the Power button, then press (and let go of) the RESET button with your stylus.
3. When the tri-color screen appears, you can let go of the buttons.
4. The screen should say "Serial" at the bottom (in the gray color area).
5. Plug in the USB cable (The screen should change to "USB").
6. Run the RUU app to re-flash the phone.
That should get you back up and running.
To enter bootloader, turn phone off then press volume down and reset simultaneously and then power ono. If you have done this correctly it will remain there and the word "serial" appears at the bottom. Then plug in USB and the word changes to "USB" you can now flash ROM
When I flashed mine it also got stuck te first time because Windows found it necessary to install new USB driver when the Flash util wanted to connect to the HTC. The flash program jumped out leaving the diamond with the RGB screen...
But, after windows installed the new USB driver, I restarted the flash program and it finished just fine.
So if you cannot connect anymore I would try to find out if the USB driver has changed. Did you try connecting to another USB port?
Otherwise I would try to connect to another PC...
Hope it helps,
Beamer
fingers crossed
hope you unbricked it m8
@tararura
Be sure to come back and update the thread if you were successful. It may help others later if they search instead of starting another thread with a similar problem.
Holy smokes......
Its breathing again. Thank you TomInMB and Windoze9t8. Give yourselves a kiss for helping me out.
I used Windoze9t8's method and it came to the serial screen and then I flashed it with Dutty's.
So I was using hard reset method to get to bootloader screen, which was wrong.
So for everyone else, its Voldown and reset button at the same time for Bootloader screen.
Flashing is done and Active Sync recognized the Diamond.
Thanks again for everyone..... and I am sure that a few of us learnt the new trick from this thread.....
Glad to hear you're all set!!!! I sure would hate to have the feeling that my precious diamond was useless!!!!
Thats right , I already lost a lots of sleep trying to fix it last night..

I Unbricked my 8125

Ok, I know not everyone will have a similar situation and maybe my post is quite late since many might have moved on to other nicer phones ;-)
I was uploading ROM using ShellTool that takes awfully long and my PC (an XP) decided to download updates and reboot all by itself. Needless to say, I was stuck at the boot screen with the IPL, SPL, GSM and the OS screen. The OS was showing 6.0.0.1 and that's it. pressing the Voice Dial and COMM button and resetting didn't help. So out of frustration, I pressed the Camera and Voice Dial buttons and did a reset and Presto, got the Red, Green, Blue with USB screen. I was able to load ATT's WM5 on it. Am sure many will like to know this minor pleasant mishap.
Hard Reset is mentioned here http://www.pocketpccentral.net/help/cingular/8125reset.htm
I would call my trick as the Hard Wiping

It's not a trick, it is called the RGB bootscreen.
not same as RGB, the actual boot.
well, all I got stuck was at the boot screen, not the RGB screen, the screen that just shows the IPL, SPL, GSM and OS numbers with the Cingular screen. I did not find anywhere that showed me to get out of the screen till I accidentally came across it. Actually, the record button is not necessary, just the camera button is fine while pressing the reset and holding it till the RGB screen is back.
Where did you get AT&T's WM5 rom, I am having the same problem. I have the IPL/SPL but can't find the rom, the link in the thread here no longer works.
Thanks.

Need Help, Please!!!

Hello,
This is my first thread on XDA, because i'm having a problem with my Kaiser.
I'm sorry for my possible "silly" questions, but this a subject wich i'm not very good at.
I have a Kaiser, wich has a TPC Elite Rom Series
R 1.70.19.09
g 25.83.40.02h
d 3.28.00.00
And that runs on WM 6.5
Since last friday while i was configuring my mms settings, the device asked me to restart to assume the new settings. So i closed it down by pressing the power button until the message to "shut it down" appeared.
But when i tried to turn it on again, the device starts with the TPC Elite Rom Series screen, then it appears the data from the rom (mentioned above), then it moves to a screen with the Windows Phone message and logo and it stays here until i turn it off again.
So i cannot start my Kaiser and i need all the help i can get.
Thanks a lot to all of you that can give me a hand.
I already have done hard reset, but it keeps freezing on the "windows phone" screen.
try into three-colour screen and reflash ROM,or look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=423486
goodluck!
try into three-colour screen and reflash ROM,goodluck
this is also my first post here, can someone please help.
i tried to hardspl my htc kaiser, and failed miserably. i went through all the steps for hardspl but somewhere failed. during the setup when running the kaiser ruu file.on the cpu it said it was complete and for me to look to the phone to finish setup. on the phone it showed the linux penguin and a list of words scrolling down the screen. then it said error insert sd card. so i did then more words scrolled down the screen. then it said error again then the screen went black. after waiting an hour and nothing happened i took the battery out. then i tried to reload and the att logo would only show up. i read online how to get the tri colored screen back up and i got that by pressing the camera and power and reset button in.on the screen it says
kais1*0
spl-3.56.0000
cpld-8
and it doesnt respond to the computer. how do i re flash and get my phone working again someone please help if you can thank you

what are you trying to hardreset device..??
A hard reset should only be performed if a normal reset does not solve a system
problem. After a hard reset, the device is restored to its default settingsā€”
the way it was when you first purchased it and turned it on. Any programs you installed, data you entered, and settings you customized on your device will be lost. Only Windows MobileĀ® software and other pre-installed programs will remain.
Try flashing back to stock rom?
Sent from my GT-P1000 using XDA App
Hi!
I have a boot problem also.
I used Memo ROM about 1 month ago. That was worked well still today. I restarted my Diamond today, it was not boot correctly. Only reboot the phone after showing the ROM information. I made hard reset and put back the rom again, but the phone is not boot properly.
Could to help somebody for me?
I solved the problem.
I downloaded the original rom (included with radio rom) from htc.com.
I put the phone to bootloader mode and flashed this original ROM.
After flashing finished, my diamond boot to WM6.1.
I don't know what was the problem, but it works again...
I hope never happening this again!
