Hard SPL for CDMA/Worldphone... What 2 do?

I've been lurking and searching around for a while and it doesn't seem like there is a Hard SPL unlock for the World phone yet or am I just missing somthing.

ok, Thanks for the reply, you see the actual problem is that all the SPL unlockers I can find all say that they do not work with the CDMA phones. I have unlocked my wizard a few years ago and my TyntII as well and know the process just can't seem to find the software yet. I've only had the Phone for less than 24hrs and am pretty fond of it and don't wish to brick it, so if anyone might point me to a specific page where they talk about unlocking my CDMA/World phone, I would appreciate it.

Reset question

although i am at risk of getting flamed for asking i am am scared ****less i'll read the wrong guide and duck up my phone.....i can't afford another one
i want to get rid of the vodafone software and the glitches the phone has. i want to completely reset my phone.
i need to know:
- which apps i need
- how to blank everything
- the os version i need which functions best on this hardware set up. (the tytnii)
hope someone is patient enough to help me out. my phone keeps doing odd stuff and it gets on my nerves

Read this entire thread. You can't fail if you read it all.

definitely check out that thread, and read the How to Flash your First ROM by Dave Shaw I think it is.
I would recommend grabbing the latest HTC stock 6.1 ROM (check the wiki for the links) and then go from there, trying custom ROMs as you see fit.

i read a little further down the page about a hard spl
what is one of these??
i want to get rid of the vodafone software. i want to brick my phone and start again. i suceeded in flashing my phone butit looks exactly the same.....and still does the same stupid stuff
i still dont wanna do the wrong hing with this so am hoping someone will be patient enough to tell me exactly which bit i need

Oh and I really hope you don't actually WANT to brick your phone.

Just because you unlocked and hard spl'd your phone, nothing is going to change if you flash the same old Voda rom back on to it. What rom did you flash ?

all i want to do is get rid of the vodafone crap and start again
to be hones, i don't really understand much of th terminology or exactly what i'm doing. just following instructions. i'm ust a little nervous (and lazy) some of the guides (while great and accurate from what i have tried) assume a lot of knowledge and when i have to start learning stuff like this it confuses me and i tend to not achieve what i wanted.
my phone has developed some odd and irritating behaviour not to mention being slow as hell sometimes
i would quite happily swap this phone for something without a slide keyboard if there is a bit of the board where ican do that

Well......again, what rom and spl do you have currently on the phone ?

A good thing to do for someone scared ****less .. sit back, don't touch the phone, and go through reading the FAQ as posted by others. Especially flashing for noobs by mskip.
Then look up on the Kaiser Wiki on this XDA site (google Kaiser Wiki). Read through and understand what Hard SPL is, what it means to unlock your phone, and why it's important.
Combine those knowledge, you're ready to flash. Otherwise, go and pay a visit to nearest shop that offers flashing service. Pay them, and if it doesn't work, sue them. Here at XDA we can help, but you need to pickup something before we can do much help.

Questions about Root and custom Rom

Hello, my Nexus One's warranty is just ended. I want to try rooting and use customs rom as my friend said it's good. I've been searching around the thread but still not found a nice easy rooting/customs rom procedure. I am not good in programing and afraid this will crack my N1. Please anyone help me with it and so I can do it on my own. thank you very much.

first of all don't be afraid of bricking your phone unless you touch it's radio (maybe there's another way to brick it but I'm not aware of that) Just letting you know now it would've been nice for me to know when i started playing with my phone back then with an htc magic i was so scared i was gonna brick it.

[Q] I have an android but trying to unlock the HD7 Tmous, need help

I know how to mess with android, but HD7 terminologies are like WTF? got me scratching my head. What is a Nodo and what are the very first steps i need to take to get my phone unlocked and with Mango. I live here in usa so it needs to work here. Another thing where do i see what 'SPL" i have now the phone info in the settings area doesnt give that info unless im looking for the wrong thing. Im not a noob to flashing and stuff but im a noob to WP7 flashing. And im on a iMac running windows 7 in Parallels desktop. I spent 5 hours searching already and i cant seem to connect the dots and its seems blurry on the tmous side of unlocking and upgrading. I dont need spoon feed. but i do need somebody to help me understand what i need to look for and why. thanks for and help. Im also pressed for time i have a buyer for te phone so im trying to keep the promise of having it ready buy tuesday.

Need advice on what to do.

Just bought a Tmo HD7 today and need some help on what to do with it. It seems that if I go and update the phone that if I ever want to throw a custom rom I would need to downgrade then upgrade again..sooo I was wondering if I should just update from Msoft or I should put a custom rom on already.
I also need help on a Tut if I do a custom rom because it is a little weird on the wording or I cant seem to understand. I also cant find the sticky for noobs to put a custom rom.

I checked my bootloader and its a 1.xx .
I have been reading lots of comments and lots of people say that if you have an HD2 then you should stick with that.
I was wondering if I should take the phone back since it seems to be very closed sourced compared to the old Win-Mo phones.

One more question: Is the phone worth it? I mean is the community going to have a long life or is it going to have a short one since it is so closed. I would like to keep the phone since it looks nice but if I cant really do anything with it I'll just stick with my HD2.
