FINALLY!! WM6 Official ROM for Herald

Finally! After a long wait in line, HTC released the official WM6 ROM updagrade for its p4350 (Herald). Anyone interested can followup here:

This has probably been the longest download I've been trying to get, but I know it'll be worth it.

TRUE LOL, I HAVE HAD IT FOR A WHILE.

Guess I forgot to mention it was the official Spanish ROM. News weren't published on that one til yesterday. I know it's been around on the FTP for about a week but not all of us know how to access it.

i am alredy registered by htc club. I used the link but it seems no files to be there to download!!!!

same problem here.
when signing in it shows no donload under the section "software updates" it wants me to choos a phone.... but no download. and an error page for the downloadpage

I was told that its because the server is busy with all the downloaders wanting wm6

It seems like they keep changing their download links on us. If this has already been posted, I'm sorry. I searched for the full URL that I posted and didn't find it in the forums.

I logged in, but it's still showing nothing for downloads. It says I have to pick my phone first from the list, but there is no list to pick from.
Edit-Since the Tilt is an AT&T branded devices, there is no way to register it on HTC's Club. Also, whenever I click on either of your links, it redirects me to http://www.htc.com/member/login.aspx , I think they've changed the download links again. If you go to the download section for the Tilt, it still has the ROM from Feb up-

You can register for the E-Club, but since the Tilt is an AT&T branded device you can't register it.

Paste the link into a download manager and it works (I use 'Free Download Manager')
Will try and get it on rapidshare once it has downloaded
Edit - unless of course nobody wants it?? I got all excited thinking it might be the 'new' one Obviously it ain't!

This is the last updated WM6.0 ROM! We are still waiting for the 6.1!

does it have that video driver update?

Oh yeah for sure it has it, don't you see the site members rioting out in the forums, trashing all the threads they come across? Trust me , you will know if there are drivers.

Try explicitly choosing the category "ROM upgrade". Then it will show up.

i have htc diamond p3490 which i brought from my operator airtel india.today when i try to download rom from htc official site ,i put my device seriall and click submit then the message come on screen that this rom s not suited for ur device.what s d reason as my diamond has same seps. as other.i think htc dont provide these upgrade for airtel locked phones.pls help i want to upgrade my rom

Yeah, I had done that, nothing new showed up on my end.
EDIT: I just re-checked their site and see that there are sub-categories for the Diamond now, by carrier, and there is a Dec 08 upgrade for some users (Telus).
I also figured out that there is a very recent Jan 09 update for the Euoropean stock version.
I'll have just have to wait for a stock US ROM upgrade for an unlocked US GSM.

Thanks, that is the update for UK users. It took me longer than it should but I finally realized that on the HTC site, I needed to "Select Country" before checking on Diamond Support, etc. It is different strokes, for different folks.

Have anybody noticed any changes/news in this rom besides the small bug fixes mentioned by HTC????

I agree, doesn't appear to be much for a 5-6 month update given the abundance of tweaks on this forum that add a lot user flexibility. At least on the update where I looked at the change summary, there also doesn't appear to be any substantive memory or battery life management improvements either.

No I haven't downloaded it. I've gotta Hong Kong version so its a bit of mucking around to get as well as install. Probably update to it later.

im from asia philippines and i tried my serial number and it works but wont risk it

any one to mirror? I will test but cannot download as I have Telstra registered t8285 and this is a generic version for HD phones.

this is 6.1 rom upgrage for touch hd in australia

it has the same rom virsion like dutty's r5 rom 1.59

there is wm6.5 rom released officially for td2 at the same date in germany but for vodafone users

Looks like the ROM is outdated if you are using custom roms here. The Radio is still on 1.13

They are phasing in the updates according to Microsoft... 10% of users in the 1st week

i installed the RUU_Schubert_S_HTC_Europe_4.05.401.02_Radio_5.69.09.29a_22.50.50.21_Signed_SCHUBERT_RELEASE
on my US T-Mobile HD& after unlocking it with DFT_XSPL_WP7FG2

Im in the same boat by the looks of it, Im kinda hoping now that they are doing a gradual release of that 10% rather than a 10% block, just a case of waiting and hoping...

Guys I believe you have to have Zune 4.8 - I am not sure though
I had RTM and when I connected to Zune it gave me an HTC UPDATE and everything ran smoothly
After update I just did a reset just to see if HTC had anything especial and now HTC apps won't update or say not available for my country and that rubbish
Also no HTC TAB on MARKET!!!!
Reboot dosen't solve it either

Yeh, you need to be on 4.8, Im on 4.8.2345.0 so no problem there, its just a case of O2 releasing the update to me.

I am on O2 Uk and got the update via zune, although I had a giffgaff card inside but now HTC Apps wont update or install

Yeh, from what I've gathered, O2 sends the update out to groups of its users at a time, so I must not be in the 1st group...
Also I have seen the HTC Apps propblem mentioned a couple of times so hopefully for your sake there will be a thread on how to fix it soon
