HTC Kaiser and Hermes

Dear all
I would like to buy TYTN II and I have read many threads in here regarding Kaiser and Hermes. They make me confusing with them. Now, I have some questions in the following, please give me some advices.
1) Is it Kaiser(may be AT&T) distributed in America and Europe, and Hermes in Asia.
2) Kaiser and Hermes are the same specification.
3) Kaiser cannot be unlock super cid until to now but Hermes can.

Not quite,
Hermes=TyTN Introduced last year, available from many carriers, Cingular8525 in USA, many other names per carrier worldwide. It can be unlocked and there are many Rom updates available
Kaiser=TyTN II, just introduced worldwide by HTC except in USA, soon to sold as the AT&T Tilt. It new so it has not been unlocked yet, some software and tweaks for Hermes works on Kaiser, but not all. There are no Roms available yet.

Different Volume External Speaker
Why the Volume External Speaker is different from TyTn and TyTn II.
The external speaker TyTn when i call another telephone or i video call another telephone is VERY GOOD AUDIO, is very hight audio.
The TyTn II is NO GOOD LEVEL AUDIO. The Volume Level is very low.
When run the program TomTom and test speaker, this is very hight.
Where is possible solution?
Is possible have name of registry for this problem?

Hold yer horses man!
I have no issues with the external speaker on mine.... Not sure what you are talking about.

Me either mine is just as loud if not louder than the hermes so maybe you just have the volume down. Or maybe you have a bad speaker bring it back and have them test another to see if yours is weak.

I have N°2 TyTn II and is the same NO GOOD AUDIO EXTERNAL SPEAKER
I have N°2 TyTn and is VERY GOOD AUDIO.
The all level is MAXIMUM
When is possible.

Wanted: Your BT Keyboard Recommendations

Thread title says it. I really want a bluetooth keyboard to use with my Sprint Touch but reviews for BT keyboards are all over the place. Some positive, some negative, some have driver problems, some don't... and then half the neg reviews are from dummies who really shouldn't be reviewing technology in the first place.
So if you have found a good working BT keyboard for the Vogue, can you tell me about it? Thanks!

Not BT, but my personal recommendation is the Spb FullScreenKeyboard, works perfect, and no need to carry anything extra.

I use a iGo (ThinkOutside) Stowaway and it works great. iGo has stopped producing them, so prices are all over the map, but I did see one on Amazon - http://www.amazon.com/Stowaway-Ultr...AKD1J9QB9025J&s=generic&qid=1214779131&sr=1-2 - for $39.99. I travel a lot and don't always want to drag out my tablet so I use this and a bt mouse. I had their IR model before this one.

+1 for the stowaway. I've had one for about 2 years and am very happy. It sips batteries and hooks up to any BT I've tried it with. Thier mouse on the other had has a huge appetite for batteries. Not worth it in my opinion when you have a touch screen within reach.

I've used the iGo/ThinkOutside BT keyboards with several devices, including my XV6900. It's an awesome keyboard.

I use Logitech's Bluetooths Mini Dionvo keyboard on my VOUGE 100 device. Pricy but it's current the BEST!

++ThinkOutside Stowaway BT! I've had it for a couple of years, used on several devices, and love it! I love their BT mouse as well.

I use the apple wireless keyboard with my verizon touch and it works without any extra software you just pair the phone to the keyboard and it works fine. seems like the easiest thing to do

i think the speaker sound quality on Touch Diamond is not good. Low volume and weakness on mid-tone and bass. do you feel the same ?

i'm compared it with my HTC Touch Elf. I use same MP3 ringtone on both devices. and e-mail alert "wav" with pushmail. When email arrive, the voice of "You've got mail" is big different in quality.
In my Touch Elf, sometimes people will thought it's real human speech.

Fair enough. That's not good then...
TBH, I think the speaker on the Touch looks like it should have a better sound quality than the speaker on the Touch Diamond too...

Then I guess I will be happy since it's bound to be better than the HTC tornado wich was my last HTC device..

I work in a big society of telecommunications, and I'm an acoustician. I measured a lot of mobile phones, not only WM compliant. In general, the quality of mobile phone is very bad, I measure a HTC P3300, and it's not so good as a Sony Ericsson Wxxx for example.
I mean that it's so crazy that we spend a lot of money in a WM compliant phone, having a bad voice quality ! What are HTC's acousticians doing ? It's time to put good transducers in our phones !

For signal reception strength, i think it is better or equal to my HTC Touch Elf.

I don't know why, because the speaker quality in HTC Touch Elf is still up to normal people standard. So, I believe that HTC Touch Diamond, as a sucessor, should be better or equal to that in Touch Elf; but I know it's not the case now.
Maybe this is another drawback due to the thickness.

The Touch isn't that much thicker (something like 2mm), so I don't think there's any excuse for bad sound quality.

2mm is a nassive amount when you're considering the thickness of a device. But, I agree that in a year, components should have gotten smaller, and HTC should have never compromised call quality to make it thinner.

symbian os is crap i wouldnt waste my time with it
the omnia is a big brick and still manages to have a lower screen resolution than the diamond and the iphone is gr8 if ur under 18 and all u wanna do is listen to music n play games anything else and ur screwed :lol so id suggest the diamond or if you have a bit more money to spend try the xperia

I had p900 sony ericsson before a long time
Why the omnia is a big trick?
About the iphone, i will have 18 in like 20 days lol.
I will mostly use the cellular i will buy as a regular phone, wifi for skype calls (via fring), and gps (IGO).
I can get second hand diamond for 300$
If i had alot of money i would buy the HD; from what i know he's the best, more then the new Omnia hd of samsung, and more then diamond 2

Yeah, i think to go diamond because of few things:
Better pixels resoulation from what iv'e heared
Stylus
TouchFLO (my dad got HD)

Iv'e saw right now a video in youtube that say diamond have not regular miniusb, a miniusb of HTC.
Why does i care? because i want to connect a convertor of 3.5mm jack headphone so i will be able to connect my regular earphones.
*I want to know how much time i will be able to make a skype call (fring-wifi) on the diamond.
*As for playing music, diamond cant replace the COWON D2 i plan to buy.

The diamond isnt the greatest at media. But then the 5800 doesnt have dedicated media keys either (as I am aware).
But seriously you wont regret getting the diamond at all. You can get a 3.5mm jack you just have to get the right one. It should even set you back £5/6.

Where can i find it for 5/6 with shipping to Israel?
The miniusb isn't normal miniusb? is it miniusb of htc?
If no, i guess i can buy any convertor from miniusb to 3.5mm
I don't like the omnia so i'm not gonna buy it.
It's or that im i will go the diamond, or that i will save some money and buy diamond2/HD (also hard decision)

The Diamond has a special mini-usb port. It can be used as a normal mini-usb port with a normal usb cable. But it can be used also with a special mini-usb to 3.5mm audio port.

This cable you need. It's a mini-usb to 3.5mm headphones jack. With this cable you can use you're own headphones with all HTC devices.

I got the device last week actually. Its a brilliant device but its let down by its lack of ram, although this has not been a problem yet so don't be put off by that.
Theres also a problem with 3.5mm connectivity for headphones.
The screen is very big and nice and the fingerprint reader is a great novelty that has some use.
I would recommend getting it.

The M900 is a superb machine. I strongly recommend it. It doesn't have a 3.5mm headset socket, though. The wired headset (with mic) is a 10-pin mini-B USB connector. It really doesn't bother me at all, because I seldom use it, since it is required to listen to the FM radio only, as it acts as an antenna. For MP3s and videos (i.e. for all the remaining - and most important - sound sources) I use my SE HBH-IS800 stereo BT headsets. Of course people's needs are quite different. So, if a 3.5mm connector is a must for you, you better consider buying something else.

Yup! Although its mini-USB port is 10-pin, 5 of them are in the same position as the standard mini-USB. So, any mini-USB cable you might have would charge it (provided it has enough current (mAh), of course), as well as sync it.

Same opinion

what the htc community is offering is more than acer, but acer are doing ppcs that are the same thing but just cheaper.
Id be going for function and price rather than a specific model with ppcs.
And i wouldnt waste my money on a second hand diamond,tytn Ii, rapheal,prophet when for the same price i get more function, and less money spent
