Hi Diamondianer,
@1.sorry for my bad english.
a simple question,
when the Diamond crashed and need to be a hardreset!
what going on with my files on the 4giga storage, is this a secured section !!
noch mal auf deutsch.
simple frage,
wenn der diamond abstürtzt und zB. einen Hardreset brauch,
sind meine gespeichertendaten gelöscht !
oder ist das ein abgeschirmter bereich !
Hard Reset
Your files are safe
a hard reset will NOT clear your 4GB drive
Das 4 GB Internal Flash verhält sich genau wie eine Speicherkarte und wird auch vom Diamond-OS so behandelt, d.h. es bleibt auch nach einem Hardreset und sogar nach einem Reflash erhalten.
The 4GB Internal Flash behaves exactly like a storage card and it is treated like that by the Diamond OS. So it´ll remain intact after a hard reset and even after flashing the device.
cool,
many thx for the answer, danke für die antwort
hard reset will only put the ram into it's orinital state
without clearing the 4Gb Rom
if you want to format the 4Gb of flash rom
"clear storage" will give option
clear only ram or both.

plz any one can tell me How much time take to install Android on X1 for first use? becz I try to run android on x1 (EXT2 & CWM method) but its take too much time. I was waited 2hr but android not started. so any one can guide me to install android on SE Xperia x1???? plz
Android installation takes not more than 10 minutes. I think about 5minutes.
Have you done the installation step by step, like you can read here (CWM) or here (EXT2). I think there is a tutorial on xda too but I found this one faster. If you think you allready followed these steps, check everything and try again, so we know that this part is correct.
Can you write us the ROMs you allready tried and did not worked for you?
I have tried all builds methods (FAT32, ext2, CWM) but Android not installed on my x1. I have read & done the installation guide step by step. even I have watched youtube videos for installing android on SE Xperia x1. I have tried all android 2.2 roms which are posted on XDA forum.
I stuck on something like this-
"waiting for sd card

I was waited over than 2 hr many times for installing android on xperia x1 but installing process was not completed.
I think there is a problem with the sd-card. Which SDcard do you have?
Have you another one to try this one.
Have you make all ext2 partitions primary?
The most easiest Android ROM to install is here F1 Froyo 2.2.2 V3, but most likely you should set the OC value to 600MHz or even to 512MHz (edit startup file to do it).
I hope you haven't missed this great tutorial
Good luck!

Hi,
I have the latest FeaMod Recovery installed and a backup to the internal SD is always working.
But if I want a backup to external SD, I always get an error - mostly the samsung freezes when starting the backup (since I use SkyHigh Kernel), when I used the feamod kernel, it always said something like "Unable to backup /data"...
Does anybody know what causes this?
Thanks
Bruzzler
Nobody an idea?

really not sure what causes this, but just backup to the internal and then connect your phone to your computer and copy the backup onto your computer so you always have a spare copy safe?
I already do that but it's annoying... do a backup 3-4 times a week...

Hi there,
I would like to have access to the internal or external sd memory while being in CWM 6.0.3.1 from my Windows 8 PC.
Of course I know, that I have to mount and... but no access to the sd.
I have tried different drivers from everywhere, but if my phone is in CMW, the device manager is telling me, that there is no driver installed.
Can someone hellp me?
Thx!

You can try Total Comander with ADB plugin, in CWM you have to mount external SD to get access.
To work in sytem folder you can mount it too. Internal Storage is found in "sdcard", not "internal_sd"...
You also can move/delete/edit files and set permissions with correct configured plugin...
I use it on Win7 64 Bit and: :good: (Quasi Schweizer Taschenmeser, kommt ja auch daher... )
CWM

Are you sure, that you can connect Total Commander to your phone being in CWM? Or is it possible, that I have a driver problem?
Screenshots were made while device was in CWM...
Try to install ADB driver and it will work

Hmm, maybe I'm stupid, but which Drivers, or where can I download them?
Sorry and thx in advance.
Rightklick on the highligted device in your screenshot, chose driver actualisation, but search manuel for it. Android composit ADB driver will work.
The driver you need is allready on your PC. No need for download something special...

I will try, thank you very much!
i guess you're not only using CWM but the CM nightlies too! well in that case every user had that problem. so in that case u'll have to format your system cache and internal SD by CWM then install the CM. but don't do it as i say. go read some more detailed instructions for that.
Hey folks!
Anyone knows how to solve the following problem?
The Galaxy S3 Mini seems to have more than enough storage left, but is not able to update or (re-)install some apps.
Installing new apps mostly works, but deleting and reinstalling apps seems to be impossible.
Already tried the following:
- Wiped cache, dalvik cache
- Tried several Apps for cleaning caches and data
- Setup Link2SD (due to Samsungs emulated SD) formatted and partionated the external SD and linked most of the Apps to SD
It seems to be possible to download an .APK-file manually and drop them into the system-app folders - the app gets recognized and runs - but this is really difficult to do with all apps.
Any suggestions?
P.S.: I've attached several screenshots.

Does this problem only happen if you download apps from Google play or also if you install apps manual as apk file?
Passiert dies nur wenn du spiele von Google play heruterladest oder auch wenn du sie manuell installiertst?

Wouldn't deleting the contents of /data also remove system files?

The problem existed before installing Link2SD and creating a second partition on the external SD.

No this will not remove your system files only the /data folder. All third-party apps (apps that you installed by you) are saved there. It means only your apps will deleted not your musics, pictures etc.
Do a backup before you doing this!

Problem solved.
Tweaked several things using adb command line to regain full access rights to system-app folder, and reinstalling Android Market.
There's an easier way of doing this. You guys are making the problem more difficult. Just delete the appdata folder of the app you want to reinstall/update located at /data/app-lib

Hope I helped you! If I did , then why not press that Thanks button under my post...
Hello Nerdworld,
I'm going to try making this as clear as possible.
The easiest way to solve this is by restoring your device back to factory defaults in Clockworkmod or any other recovery as this should clear out all corrupted files / files causing problem from your data folder, but beware that it deletes absolutely every app on your phone, and all of your data which are not stored on the sdcard. When you've done that, go to the root of your sdcard and delete the android_secure folder and the android folder, as they contain data related to apps and so and might cause issues.
Be aware of that backing up all data is advised, as you will loose all info which are not stored on your sdcard and you will have to reinstall all apps.
Hi,
I have problem with update Huawei P7 L00 from 4.4.2 B916 to 5.1.1 B851
My version: P7-L00V100R001C17B916SP05
I turn off my phone and reboot while holding Vol up + Vol down and Power button, then I get the information: verified package fail.
How can I fix it?
reload the b851..
make sure that you have at least 4GB of free space on your sdcard or internal storage..
maybe takeba fresh sdcard (or format it)..
