Operating system:wm 2003 (not se), i installed the pach file that i found at this forum, (bchs_for_pocket_pc_ozone[1].armv4.cab) for uprading the bluetooth audio stereo listening.

Step-by-Step :All sounds to a Bluetooth Headset ?

Hi folks!
Is there some kind of step by step manual how to get to a working solution for the well known BlueAngel Problem with it's headset connections?
I found a thread talking about some registry tweaks, but that only enables the menu option to send the sounds to the headset, but finally doesn't produce any sounds...
What I want to have is the instructions, given by the Navigon Mobile Navigator 5 beeing transferred to a bluetooth device (a parrot free speach device or a logitech headset).
I am already running ROM 1.4 and tried all various BT versions, but nothing worked..
Thanks for your help,
Balu
err.. I am looking for using bluetooth headset to listen mp3 as well, any help and suggestions?
im trying to figure out how to do that aswell, (listen to media player using bluetooth on my SVP m2000)
me too is there any idea pls
same
You can listen mp3s if your headset supports advanced audio distribution profile and you have PDA2K_BroadcomCorp_BTUpdate.cab installed. But if your "advanced" headset does not support old profiles - you would not be able to use it to listen phone calls.
You CANNOT listen MP3s on normal headsets that support headset and hansdfree profiles. To use these headsets you have to sell PDA2K and buy PDA2.

Can you please provide the list of BT headsets (with make / model numbers) that supports this "advanced audio distribution profile"
ht820 does the job!
I have Motorola HT820 on Orange M2000.
The HT820 supports Hands-Free and High Quality Audio profiles and you can playback audio in stereo via the headphones.
I upgraded the BT stack to 3900 and radio to 1.13 and added the extra profiles (instructions are in the Wiki), and it appears to work as both .
When the phone rings, WMP pauses and the left headset button answers the phone. Once you finish the call and hang up, WMP starts playback again.
The only problem that I still have is with intermittent dropout of the High Quality Audio. Anyone got any clues on curing this?
Got mine for around £60 UK sterling.
Is this an hardware limitation? Is this a ROM limitation? BT stack problem?
GSM phone preempting BT handfree?
If not HW, can we expect an upcoming solution to this?
Or, the only "hard" workaround is to plug a BT adapter (like Jabra A210) to redirect mike/spkr, and to desactivate BA BT.
Christmas tree, like.

Registry
Hi again.
So, we didn't really find a solution yet?
I once read something about a little change to the registry, so that a second profile for the normal BT Headset appears.
I searched but I can't find it again.
does anyone know which post I mean?
If so, can you give me a link to that, because I believe that is the right way to solve the problem...
the key is if your source (pda or notebook) is running BT audio gateway. centrino notebooks supports audio gateway. I have a Jabra BT800 and listens to MP3s played from an HP DV1000 notebook but cannot have it working through my XDA II mini (the latter does not support BT audio gateway)

Upgraded to BT 3900, now very low phone volume

I am new to PDAs, so please pardon my ignorance. I recently purchased a PDA2k EVDO (CDMA/Harrier) which was stock standard (ROM 2.03.00 WWE, date 15/12/04, Radio HA01_140, ExtROM 2.03.111 WWE & BT 1.0.0.3500). As my PDA2k didn't have audio BT profile, I installed the BT 3900 stack. I can now hear fantastic stereo music via my iTech BlueBAND headphones but can bearly hear my phone from the same headset. The phone volume is set to maximum without any effect. Before the upgrade, on BT 3500, the phone worked perfectly on this headset but I couldn't play music thru the headset. I have checked in the forums for similar problems but haven't found an answer for this one. Other glitches - the first time I installed 3900, the screen froze. I had to do a hard reset to overcome this and subsequently lost 3900 (to 3500) on restore. The BT signal on 3900 cuts out occassionaly but I get a line-of-sight range of @10m. Please help and thanks.
PS. Great site - I've learned a lot in a short time. Cheers.

What would be the Audio problem for Video Playback via BT?

I am using iTech S38 bluetooth stereo headset.
My Music/video player is TCPMP 0.72RC1
I had paired my O2 XDA IIi with this itech S38.
The 2 setup I had done:
Hands-free/Headset setup and High Quality Audio setup.
Playing MP3 is okay, and would auto disconnect my bluetooth after few minutes when i backlit goes off. Is there any way to stop this?
As for video playback, all the bell whistle accessing the menu can be heard, but whenever i hit play, it simply disconnect my BT connection.
Anyone know what is the issue?
I am using Pug Asian firmware with O2stuff stripped.
Someone told me.. it could be the A2DP patch.. but how can I tell what patch I am using? Native BT profiles does not have A2DP on original O2 XDA IIi firmware.
Thank you.

A2dp Skipping problem

Dear All,
I am using an I-Mate PDA2k with new WM5.0 from Helmi. Recently I am facing with a new problem with A2DP on my Car Stereo which is Pioneer DEH-P980BT. I can easily setup a Wireless Stereo connection with my Car Stereo but the sound skips while playing any kind of sounds, Also I think there is a delay while playing from my PDA. I would be very happy if anyone help me on solving this issue.

A2DP Profile Bluetooth supported on Qtek 2020i?

Hi,
This is my first posting on this forum. I have a question about the Bluetooth of my Qtek 2020i. Is it supporting the A2DP Profile?

I saw this writing:
Hi, I'm a newbie here. I would like to know if upgrading my radio rom to 1.04 (currently 1.03) on my Qtek 2020i will solve the bluetooth headset static problem. The static will be heard when I move away more than 2 feet (approximately) from the phone or if there is something between the phone and the bluetooth headset (touch BTS 900). But this only happen if I'm using the headset for calls (Headset Profile). Using it to listen to music (A2DP Profile) from the 2020i, I can move away up to around 5 metres without any skipping or static. I've tested the bluetooth headset with a Nokia 6600 phone and there is no problem during calls, so, it is not the headset. I'm hoping to solve the problem without having to buy another bluetooth headset as I like my BTS 900 very much.
Thanks.

It does, after a patch, I think if you do a search for it, it should be there.
