Startup logo removal - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Themes and Apps

In my quest to get a stable rom, I tried a rom from modacos forum, called ltr 21/05/08, which was ok, but found L26Diamond V7 ROM to be better. Anyway, a modaco startup logo appears immediatley after a reset and will not go away, even after a hard reset or different ROM flash !
I have even looked at Kaiser tweak to disable startup animation, however, the modaco pic appears well before the green WM6.1 screen. Any help to remove would be appreciated...

Already tryed mate, with no joy, awaiting for rom chiefs, maybe someone knows how.......thanks anyway mate.
The animaition should be able to be reomved by schapps (which chages the regisrty)
Sometimes some registry settings are restored by the rom (if they are stored there) though up a reboot, so to the solve the problem you may need a new rom
You are probobly talking about stwater. Try searching for ie. wm61_stwater
If you are cooking its the file in SYS\base_dpi_96_resh_240_resv_320
Can't do anything mates, just can't get a rid of this ugly Telenor's logoTrying almost everything, have reed almost all articles without any luck
Thanks for the trying to help me out mates.
cheers
Search up all images in windir and go trough them. Once you find the one you are talking about replace it whit a diffrent one. Telenor you say.. Norwegian?
This is a picture, thanks for support mate.

Stuck on bootloader screen!!! Help!!

I've been waiting for hours for someone to help me and I searched and searched, I can't find any help!!! I have to go to work soon and I've been on this screen since 7:30AM EST!
Looks like I'm stuck at the boot loader screen and it goes back to it when I do a soft rest. I can't do a hard reset since I can't turn off the phone.
I think it's the bootloader screen.
Says RUUNBH on the top right corner and the screen is red, green, blue and white which these codes or whatever.
Took the battery out for a few and it went right back to that same screen.
Can someone help me bring back my Rhodium to stock???
EDIT: I might of posted this in the wrong section. Should this be in Rhodium General?
*UPDATE*
ark666 found the stock rom for T-Mobile HTC TP2 and I did a flash to get it back! Thank you so much ark666!!!
Flash stock rom.
I have no idea on how to do that, I searched how-to's but I can't find any full instructions or where to get the stock rom for T-Mobile HTC TP2.
This is the worse ever!!! Somebody please!!!
Isn't this the best site for things like this?
Try a manual hard reset? The instructions should be in your manual.
It says while the phone is off to HOLD SEND/END key with the power until the message comes up. The phone wont turn off unless I take out the battery for me to do a hard reset.
EDIT: I took the battery out then put it back in. The phone is now off, I hold the buttons and did the hard reset. It went right back to the boot loader screen.
hi,
what happend after you hard reset the device?
regards,
twisted
Asked me to press the VOL UP button to reboot. I did and it went right back to the boot loader screen. A flash happened on the screen when I try a soft reset and it says really quickly!..."NO IMG FILE" then it goes back to the 4 color screen.
EDIT: Image below on how my screen is since 7:30 AM EST!!!
on some device, active the RUU, connect it to PC & press soft reset button (the one in side the battery cover).
don't know if it help, just try that
good luck
Thanks for the reply, but that was the first thing I tried. Looks like I will have to go to work with no phone! This is crazy on how this can't be resolved.
Looks like you've basically erased the flash I'd say...
If you can get the t-mobile image, then try flashing that back to the device... If you connect a usb cable to your device, at the bottom, where it says serial it'll change to usb...
Or, if you have a goldcard, maybe try installing another image. But I'd say you're best to install the t-mobile image if you can get one?!
Ok so where can I get an image that will work on my phone? I also will need instructions on how to do it properly.

Where are you from? Can you find the rom on your tmobile site?
Or, creat a goldcard, copy the RHODIMG.nbh into the root of the card and try flashing that...?
As far as I know, your device is not bricked, you simply need your original supplier rom...
I replied to the PM (basically do set 16 0 command in mtty)
but I see your photo now - you have 0.85.1000 SPL? that's mfg SPL so if "set 16 0" did not help (you didn't describe what you did to the phone when this happened), you can just take any official rhodium ROM and flash it
sorry if I misread your photo... quite blurry
Ok that's my main problem that I've been having. Where can I get an official Rhodium ROM and how do I do a flash? I've been searching all morning.
And yes 0.85.1000, that's what it says on the screen.
I tried to this ROM...Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=548546
Did the goldcard, but I think I did it wrong. I added the RHODIMG to the SD then tried to update my TP2. That's when I got an error saying it's not for PDA and how I need to update my utility.
I got the steps to do the goldcard correctly, I just want to take another shot at updating this ROM.

see my PM first, maybe set 16 0 will be enough.
is your SPL version really 0.85.1000? how did you get this phone? what happened when it got stuck on bootloader screen?
as for flashing, see xdadev wiki on rhodium.
Ok, will try what you PMed me. Brb!
It says 0.85.1000 on the screen so I guess so and I got it from T-Mobile. Ordered it through Customer Service.

then the set 16 0 will work just fine
weird the rom didn't work though
I have just flashed the 6.5 rom which you flashed
It does change the spl to 0.85 and i have the exact the sameimage which you have shotted during the flash process. But the process of this rom's flashing has two stage, it will restart after first 10% and show up the image which you shotted and upload, and continue afterwards. i guess ur goldcard has the problem so it stops and stucked there. Try other sign roms would be a better solution.

Please help, I think I bricked my phone :(

Sorry if I shouldn't be writing a new thread about this, but I couldn't find a thread about bad flashes...
I'm a newbie with this, and I think I just bricked my phone after only my second flash I have a Touch Pro 2 (T-Mobile), and I was able to successfully install HardSPL. I even flashed the EnergyROM LEO with no problems. After a few days of playing around, I tried to flash the AthineOS v2.0 ROM, and now my phone won't boot up... it gets stuck in the Touch Pro 2 black screen with the red lettered version numbers at the bottom. I tried rebooting and pulling the battery out, but I have had no success in being able to boot it back up.
Any ideas on how I can fix this? This sucks I've only had the thing for less than a month...

hi if you have done the hardspl then try this
to enter Bootloader
Remove the back cover from the phone.
Hold the Volume Down button.
Use the stylus to press the reset hole.
Or if the device was powered off, press the power button whilst holding down the Volume Down button.
you should see serial at the bottom of the three color screen then plug in the usb cable the serial should change to USB then just flash another rom.
i hope this helps you.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! That worked! That's a really cool recovery feature from HardSPL... you guys really know what you're doing This is such a huge relief...

idd, this is not ROM related, its just unlucky like hell. See the phone as a PC, where blocks need be written. If a block fails or is corrupt, you get these jokes. Its like a BSOD on a Windows PC.
I gotta admit it is great knowing that once you've done a hardspl you are safe as houses as even if you flashed the most currupted ROM, the bootloader will always allow a reflash.
This is way more stable and safe than any other experience I've had of phone flashing.

Funny that, your latest ROM was the only one I had problems with - the same problems as the original poster, in fact. I flashed a different ROM fine, re-downloaded your 2.0 and flashed it again, same problem. Hanging on the boot screen.

Probably I think I was just unlucky. My fear (while I was panicking) was that your ROM is European based, and since mine came from T-Mobile, it didn't mesh well. I also didn't unlock my phone so that could be also be a problem...

no one have told me that on my thread... only here i found this issue.. and finally how pass the problem?
I had to re-flash a different ROM.
I'm wondering if it's related to the radio version...
what is your version of radio
can't you flash the latest 23060?
i use radio 3.36
I've used 4.49.25.05 and have just got the same result on 4.49.25.17
I'll try flashing 3.44.25.27 (the oldest in the radio thread) and re-flashing your ROM.
Alas, no luck with that one either.
I have no idea why it doesn't seem to work on my Rhodium :/
I'm sorry if I'm hijacking this thread but it's the only one I've found that's even close to having the same issue I have, though I'm still using the stock rom/os.
I was installing winmo msn messenger. It installed fine and reset my tp2 fine. It goes thru the tp2 splash screen, the verizon splash screen and the winmo splash screen. Then it shows owner information and this is where it gets screwed up. Owner info will stay up forever if I dont touch the screen. After touching the screen the only thing left will be the top bar and the rest of the screen stays black. The only things on the top bar are the signal icon (which always has an x), the wifi icon (which seems to be connected fine lol) and either owner info will still be in the upper left or the start menu will be there. Hitting the screen only causes my tp2 to beep.
Nothing I know how to do (which is basically just hard and soft resetting it) works. Verizon can't fix it (didnt think they would be able to) and I can find no drivers (possibly cause I'm still a noob with winmo) to resolve my issue. I'm not even sure how I'd get them on as it wont even sync up to my computer and my computer cannot find its hd. If I could get a rom for the verizon one I think I can figure it out from there with no issues...but htc website sends me to verizon website for support and vice versa. The htc wiki is the closest I've gotten to an answer...but no rom to download. The only OEM roms I can find anywhere aren't for this phone, unless one of those will work? You guys are the experts.
Does anyone know what I can try? Verizon wants me to return it but cannot tell me when I'll get my new one as they are out of stock...again. Please help lol! Thanks for any and all help.

Sorry, I tried that one as well yesterday. And I've downloaded your ROM a few times too...
Are you still working on the 6.1 ROM? Maybe a new version will just magically start working for me...
EDIT: Tried a fresh 3.46.25.30 and a fresh download of your ROM. Still nothing

HTC TyTN II Boot error

Hi all,
My HTC can not boot, it boots and stays for ever on the 1st screen with the three red text/nubmers, I think the ROM version.
Even when I try to shut it down, I can't. Only if I remove my batt.
I do not care if I lose any data as I use it for GPS Navi and 2ndary phone.
So if I do a hard rest it may work?
How can I install any new ROM?
Thank you!
Please use the search before posting "stuck at splash screen" sure would provide results, hard-reset and if doesn't work get the phone into bootloader and flash stock ROM.
All info can be found in WIKI.

[Q] splash screen problem,

hello all, i have a strange problem with the splash screen, i have two kaisers, one i use and one i test on, anyways i have flashed a bunch of roms to this phone, and one i tried was ReBurn_113MB_Lite_V2.0(which changes the splash screen to look like a bios screen), after deciding i did'nt like it i flashed back to my own customized rom,(has its own splash screen) but the "bios screen" stayed
(just on the part where the info comes up (radio, version, ect)it boots to my splash then goes to this bios screen, then back to my startup animation and boots wm6.5, i have now flashed several roms in an attempt to get rid of it, have changed hardspl several times, several radios, (i tried to mtty task 2a but mtty don't seem to be getting through somehow, any ideas, any help appreciated (not really a problem my device still boots fine, it just bugs me, I did do several searches and haven't found anything so far)
