Is there a such program like Battery Status that can be on the home screen or bottom task bar like in SPB mobile shell with an icon and everything..I wanna link to my memory, instead of having to go through start > settings > system just to get to the memory....if anybody can redirect me to the link or thread that would be great. Ive scoured the software and general Kaiser forum with no luck. I dont wanna have to install spb mobile shell just to have this one tool. I wana be able to shortcut to my memory and see my storage and program memory usagee easily on my today screen. I know there has to be some sort of .cab for this.
Bottom Task bar icon cab file for Memory usage app.
just need an application for memory so i can check memory usage quickly like on the bottom task bar or something...like a battery status thing but for memory. If anybody knows an application for this on the bottom task bar so i dont have to go through start - settings - memory everys single time iw anna check my memory...i wish the taskbar had something like that for memory instead of telling you what items are being used and how much memoryt hey are taking up
maybe simplyifing the title will help in finding a memory status tool.
- thanks to whoever can help me find this application

battery status already does this lol. just click on ur storage card memory and it will bring up the page u want. im using the newest version 1.05 or something
doesn't task manager have the feature you want?
task manager doesnt show your memory usage percentage and you have too go through the options tab in the task manager to get to the memory, its not like having something on your today screen or at the bottom of the screen
@moegdaog:
battery ststus can show you your memory status... pleace check you configs, an you will see, what you want to see

task manager 2.0 and above shows memory percentage and it is finger friendly. try it, you can find it somewhere on xda (there is more than one version, so choose one that fits your needs)
ok thanks ill give a new task manager a try

Hey guys, I know this is probably easier then i am making it out to be but I have been trying and trying to figure out how to make my Omap overclock when i run certain applications. Is there a way to know what names to use for what applications? Does it need to have the full name?
Example : I want my clock to be at 245 or 260 when running Iguidance, or Map4PDA. I have tried just typing in iGuidance and setting the clock to 245, but it doesn't seem to run any faster. I have also tried Map4PDA and nothing happened. Is there a specific way this has to be done?
Thanx ahead of time, and please no burning!!! Just trying to find out how to do this.
(Side Note : DOWNLOAD THE NEW 3.3 V2 rom!!!!! Best rom ever, and can only get better!!!!!!!! MUCH THANX!!!!!
if you open the app that you want to change the CPU speed for, then either minimise it or close it so that you can see the desktop then tap and hold the battery icon on the battery status plugin a menue will pop up, then tap where it says "Add to Appl.-list" it will show you the last ap..just click it and it will be put into the Omap Apps tab and you can adjust the speed from there.
tried
I started up my Iguidance program and then minimized it and did whsat you said, yet i have no option of " Add to app Lst" the only options i have are . .
In order from top to bottom. . .
Options
Show rows
Set Cpuspeed
On wakeup
Set last speed
DeviceLock
Taskbar indicator
display off
tray icons
quite batterystatus

The Latest Version (BETA) of BatteryStatus allows App-Based Overclocking! Download it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=270751&highlight=batterystatus
Scroll down and find the link for BatteryStatusExt.1.04.beta2.CAB. Install it. Then just go into options to the "App Based Overclocking" tab, or something like that.

you need to make sure you go to the Omap Apps tab and have a check in the " Application based overclocking" box for it to show up

I have done that, and it still doesn't work. I am downloading the beta2 right now thank you for the link texas.
I ju8st tried the link and installed, and BAM, it works now. Thank you VERY VERY MUCH!!!!! My Map4PDA is working much much faster, and my iGuidance is speedy as ever!!!
I use the Iguidance for turn by turn directions, and then i use the Map4PDA for traffic jams if i hit one.
(iGuidance doesn't have any overlay of the traffic. If anyone knows of a GPS program with turn by turn directions and voice promts with traffic included, please do tell! Would be much easier to do it that way then to have to switch between the two when i encounter trafrfic jams. Thanx guys)
sorry....i have a bunch of cabs that i install whenever i put a new rom in my phone and i forgot that the new beta battery status was one of them..i thought it was the same as on this rom..sorry bout that lol
seems like app based overclock do not work on wm6. i tried : window title, exe filename, still its not changing cpu speed.

i didnt try that when i was running WM6, but the CPU scaler did seem a bit sketchy...mybe something isnt completely compatible. it did seem to work though when just letting it to overclock to a certain amount
I'm trying to make the top bar less crowded with crap (Volume, Battery, Connection, Phone icons take a lot of space away!)
I'm using wktask and it would look a lot nicer to have a somewhat full task bar!
Thanks (I already searched and couldn't find anything)
bump anyone please?
Have you tried Kaisertweak?
In 'Today Screen' there are several options including some to disable icons in the top bar.
Hope this helps...
Good luck
Well, the only tool i can think of is wisbar advance. It can also replace wktask.
yeah wisbar costs money though. and it doesn't look that nice.
I just liked Wktasks idea of turning the top bar into a task bar like in regular windows editions.
Also: Nothing in KaiserTweak
I have a funky navigation bar. It shows the connection status (Edge/Wifi), radio bars (with edge/3g/analog), and volume next to the X/OK button, but no clock/battery. When looking at the Today screen, the volume icon is hidden, but touchable (takes getting use to). When looking at programs, I can see all 3 next to the X/OK. I'm not entirely sure which bit of tweaking accomplished this, but I did choose, in KaiserTweak, to show "Nothing" for Today Screen>Title Bar - Clock Settings, and "Battery" for Today Screen>Title Bar - Battery/Clock.
I also used an old WM5 tweak to show the clock as Analog through HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Shell\AnalogClock as DWORD, 1
And another, HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\ShowTitleBarClock as DWORD, 0 and HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\TBOpt as DWORD, 0
Also, ArielBattery can cover whichever of those you want (but clicking the battery icon shows memory usage only).
Doesn't seem to work for me. Ugh....thought it would be an easy fix too....
lemme re explain what im trying to find an application that is specificaly for Memory usage and status just like battery status is for your battery usage. If there is a link for this application that can have an icon on the home screen or bottom task bar that links u directly to the memory in your system.
i just need too know if theres a memory status application just like the battery status program preferably with a shortcut in the bottm of the sceen on the bottom task bar likew where the palringo icon app goes when u have it turned on....plz help i wanna be able to access my memory usage quickly without having to go throughs start - settings tab.
http://www.chi-tai.info/cs_batterystatus_xda_neo_wm5_im_cs.htm
they have a support forum too...
next time use google first...
eh bro this app doess show my memory status but it doesnt actually let me shortct to the memory setting. It just showst he prcentage ofmemory being used....is there a new version of battery status that lets u shortcut icont o the memory application in our settings or a battery status prog that is specificaly for memory?
simplified the title to see if i could get some help, ive looked all over for this thing and couldnt fine anything....Is there a such program like Battery Status that can be on the home screen or bottom task bar like in SPB mobile shell with an icon and everything..I wanna link to my memory, instead of having to go through start > settings > system just to get to the memory....if anybody can redirect me to the link or thread that would be great. hi all!
just got myself a diamond yesterday after spending 8 months with a n95 8gb... overall impressive phone but coming from a dopod d810, i find the system status dialog/touchflow 3d interface extremely annoying!
how do i remove them???
system status dialog -> where you can click on the volume, date, 3G icons on the top right hand side of the phone
also anybody knows how to remove the functionality where you press the vol up/down and it changes the system volume?
Hard Reset the daimond. When it boots up after configuration and when it says 3 seconds to customize , press reset.
PS : Opera also wont be installed. you can download opera cab seperately
If it's just the interface, why not uncheck it from Settings>Today ? Or does it come back? Not tried it yet myself

start->preferences->system->TouchFLo
unselect third checkbox..
Allright .. that´t the way to disable TouchFlo...
but how can we get rid of the system status dialog?
(another way than soft reset before HTC customizing runs...)
thx alot...
one more here that is really seeking to get rid of that awfull system status.....
thats the only thing so far i really hated on the diamond
Doesn't my solution (3 posts up from here) work to disable the system status dialog window?
It works for me (MDA Compact IV -Dutch)
yes it works real fine, the problem is everyone still wants the touchflow 3d
we just want to get rid of the system status on the upper corner
Guys..
instead of the full screen system status, do U think I can get the original Touch/Cruise system bubble instead? It's similar to the full screen, but the icons are slightly bigger and appears on top of the screen in a bubble.
Any ideas?
I also find the system status page an unnecessary step. Coming from an Imate K-jam, I preffered just pressing on the icon at the top (alarm bell / envelope / handset etc) to take me to the pop-up bubble at the bottom of the screen where I could either enter open the inbox / call register/calender etc or dismiss.
I read somewhere that the system status page is to bring up large icons for finger pressing. I don't understand the logic of this as the only way I bring up the system status page is by pressing on a small icon in the title bar!
I would like to be able to remove this system status screen step
Why does everone ignores the answer already given??
* To disable the Systemstatus screen, go to Settings>System>Touchflo
* untick the third checkbox wich states (translated from Dutch): "Show Systemstatuswindow when ticked on statusicons"

The idea is that you don't have to aim so precise, just press anywhere near the icons and then you can take your pick by pressing an easy target.
Anyway I do agree with you that it is an annoying extra step, it is a good thing it can be disabled (see previous post).
hi
any idea why my elf does not have 3 options but only 1 "enable sound when finger scrolling and panning"
Is there any workaround to turn off the touchflow?
maybe it's because I was flashed the rom to an "original orange" version?
thanks

Same here, but I found this registry key that helped me (i really hate the big system status menu!) :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\EnlargeTitleBar\Enable which must be 0 to disable it! You don't even need to reboot, works instant!
Ever since I updated the ROM, I really hate that big system status screen.
I thought I would have had to live with it, so I am very glad to found this thread.
Thanks guys!!!

EDIT: oops, didn't see the 2nd page.

thanks for you reply. i know those apps, but, i will prefer one that can show what programs is running in the dropdown menu since the dropdown menu has pretty much free space, don't you think?
Of course no, i dont think there so much space on the drop down menu. Just look at the sum of apps (excluding system apps) there's in a traditional task killer.....
It really look impossible, it it can simply be a non-sense...
Automatic Task will do the job for you.
