Hi, sorry, I tryed to search for operator in the forum but could not find what I was looking for.
Recently I switched operator (orange to T-Mobile) and I would like to change this in my profile but I cannot find where to change this.
Can anyone give me a hint please.

Anyone know the o2 active GPRS manual settings for the BA? I have just performed an upgrade with the o2 Asia rom and obviously now dont have the UK Auto configurator!
Well... whilst I started typing this I FINALLY got through to the o2 Data Support group (0800005005), who gave me the following settings which got me up and running!....
MY ISP
<Add a new modem connection>
Connection name:My Connection
Modem:Cellular Line (GPRS)
Access point name:mobile.o2.co.uk
User name2web
Passwordassword
<Advanced=>Servers>
DNS:193.113.200.200
ALTDNS:193.113.200.201
MY WORK NETWORK
<Add a new modem connection>
Connection name:My Connection 1
Modem:Cellular Line (GPRS)
Access point name:wap.o2.co.uk
User name2wap
Passwordassword
<Set up my proxy server=>Advanced>
WAP: 193.113.200.195:8080
I dont know if this is obvious information, but I couldnt find it anywhere... so I hope it helps someone!
On a side note, whilst upgrading the ROM to a non UK variant, is there some way of avoiding these sorts of troubles?
Cheers,
Jon.
Yes mate, simply use this cab file to install the settings into the phone, therfore not having the trouble of having to type them allin manually!
Any chance of expaning further, how do I replace / install this cab!
Cheers,
Jon.
Never mind, i see this is just a standard cab... thought it was part of the extended rom files or sumthin!
Thanks for that!
Jon.
Could a mod rename this thread please?
I nearly missed it, thought it was to do with the evil useless O2 Active software, not the useful settings for gprs!
cheers mate - just what I needed after my upgarde to the i-mate ROM
O2 XDA IIs UK upgrade using ASIA ROM, will it be a problem?
Hi!
I will be using my XDA IIs O2 UK in the Philippines(ASIA), but I got it from UK. Will there be problems if I will load my UK phone with the ASIA ROM.
Thanks
Hope this is what I need .
Running XDA2i in corporate install, will this CAB put all the required info in the settings to allow GPRS, e-mail wap etc?
Hey Helmi, Great ROM!!
At last a ROM we can enjoy! I have been following the various threads on this subject but due to my lack of programming/hacking knowledge i have kept my mouth shut most of the time.
Since there is no customisation CAB for my operator i would like to make one. Can anyone help me go about it?
Would be glad to offer the german Providers if someone could explain howto ..
You can find cabs for most operators around on the net, there's usually already one there for your operator. The best places to look are either on xda-developers or modaco.com. I know that the latter has an official settings repository for just this sort of thing.
I recently purchased a T-Mobile Vario MDA Localy in Germany with service.
As expected its default in German (seeing as my german language proficiency leaves a bit to be desired i needed to convert to english)
I scoured these forums and did much research in regards to what i could do.
My phone was only able to be flash witth the RUU_Molski.Biz_226102_22610105_022511_G4_WWE file found on the ftp.
Upon reboot i was greeted with english .. a warm welcome indeed.
Now i'm trying to get the T-Mobile Services back in functional order. I have the Tmobile data plan and i'm interested in getting my gprs and sms settings reconfigured. The issue at hand is all i find is the US, UK, NL settings online.
I've been looking for a cab or site with the setup for the tmobile d features. I did find the java midlet manager but that is it.
Alternatively if you know of an english version for the latest t-mobile German rom i could load that instead.
I do appreciate any help way in advance.
Hi there,
Can anyone advice how to gonfigure the GPRS settings in my Alpine (XDA-IIi), I am using "Pay as you go" on O2, I have also called the O2 helpdesk for help and they have given me some setting, I have applied those but didn't work, I have called again and they excused that they know the GPRS settings for CONTRACT not for PAYG.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

PS
Its best to delete any GPRS settings before install of the cab, if you can, although not always essential. DAz
Hi Sidd
I had a similar experience with O2 and may XDA IIi. In short, I do not think that you can get GPRS working under PAYG.
I tried all sorts of setting, tweaks and twiddles but I could never get it working.
Thanks
Mark
First-of-all many thanks to DAZ as he/she has posted the settings.
Yes Mark you are right DAZ has given one setting just above, I have tried that, everything went fine during installation, but unfortunately the XDA is not getting any data through the GPRS, and I think the O2 was right that there isn't any possibility to use GPRS on PAYG on O2.
Thanks anyway for your concern, and please update me if you got anything in future.
Thanks
Sidd
Posted this over in networking, but that forum seems slooow, no responses, so I'm posting in here in the hope someone may be able to help.
Does anyone have the network settings for e-plus (Germany)?
Need the actual settings and not a cab or a config wizard, cuz although I have a Tilt, I'll be using a BlackJack2 while I'm there and smartphones have a different setup screen.So if anyone has the actual settings, I'd appreciate them.
