May be a dumb question, but are you sure the headset is in "pairing" mode?

Does anyone else thinks that BT headset sound is a bit tiny? There is no low frequencies present that makes sound a bit harsh. I am comparing it with HTC Excalibur and Trinity. Is there a way to adjust this parameter via registry?
Yeah i thought this....Ive been using my bluetooth stereo headset and ive also tried the wired headset.
Im sure this was the same on the tinity though wasnt it when it was first released.
Stereo headset works fine for me with plenty of Bass. It's a regular BT headset that I am talking about. Both Jabra JX 10 and Nokia BH 900.
i have jx10 and everything was great with regular phone conversations, even the voice button works.
i have not try the stereo bt headsets so no comment on the music side.

when you say stereo headset...do you mean the bundled mini USB headset included with the Kaiser?
Thanks
no i mean stereo Bluetooth headsets. my jabra jx10 is only mono (one side), some BT has 2 sides (L&R) stereo for musics.
Sorry yeah i misread the first post .
I actually thought though with the standard bundled USB headset the sound was a little tinny.
with my stereo DS970 (se) headset the sound is fine.....I was talking about the standard USB headset.
sorry guys misread the first post.
anyone have registry keys that can be tweaked to make BT mono sounds better?
Guys, this is the first HTC device with this kind of problem! It really drives me crazy. Am I only one who annoyed by this?
I'm having the same problem with tiny BT sound over A2DP. I'm using an i.Tech S.38 which works perfectly apart from the VERY low volume (volume sliders in actual programs and volume control on S.38 are set to full.). When I pair the S.38 with my laptop the volume is much higher.

Really unpleasant feature.
A lot of weeks I have a problem, where I can't find an answer for.
A few weeks ago I bought the Sennheiser MM200 Bluetooth stereo headset. This set has an great sound quality, so I'm very happy with this headset.
I hoped that it would be possible to uses this Sennheiser headset in combination with the radio on my HTC TD. But unfortunately I haven't find an answer yet, or it's possible or not to listening radio with a Bluetooth headset on the HTC TD.
So is there anyone knows there is a workaround to let work the radio with a Bluetooth headset?
Tanks.

And do you know or it's possible to use the wired headset only for the radio signal, and use my Bluetooth headset for the sound?

I have been trying to find out how to do just this.
I ride a motorbike, and have a bluetooth crash helmet with buit in speakers / mike which works a treat for answering and making calls and indeed listening to TomTom navigation instructions from my HTC Topaz.
However, I have yet found a solution to allow me to listen to the radio via bluetooth. As you have also discovered, the headset acts as an antena but then diconects the sound from the bluetooth headset when connected. I figure that there must be a way to program the phone to use the blutooth headset as the default "speaker" and the plug in headset as only the antena.
I will repost this thread in the Topaz forum too to see if anyone has a solution.
One partial solution that I have discovered is streaming radio via an internet connection. This works, although the connection stream is not always the best and of course there is a data "overhead charge" involved.

no it's not possible to have both a wired headset connected an a bluetooth
even if the wires headset is only acting as antenna

Lovin it!

I am the happy owner of a HTC Topaz.
I ride a motorbike, and have recently bought a bluetooth crash helmet with built in speakers / mic which works a treat for answering and making calls and also for listening to TomTom navigation instructions from my HTC Topaz.
However, I have yet found a solution to allow me to listen to the built in radio via bluetooth. Because HTC requires the plug-in headset to act as an antena the radio doesnt work without it.
However when I plug in the headset, i get instant radio reception but then the sound is routed to the plug-in headset , rather thean the bluetooth speakers.
My logic tells me that there must be some way to use the plug in headset as ONLY an antena allowing the sound to be routed by deafault to the bluetooth headset. Surely this is software driven?
I am not a software Guru, but keen to learn and frustrated that there doesnt seem to be a yet obvious solution to this problem.
Any help would be appreciated.

Why 4 threads?
Hi,
Not sure if this is the place for this question, but I will try it. I have a HTC Touch Diamond which works fine, except in my car. I have a Citroen C4 Grand Picasso with bluetooth carkit built in. I can connect the phone with the car no problem. I can make calls and I can hear people perfectly. The problem is that people hear themselves back (echo). I first thought it was a problem of the built-in carkit, but now I am thinking that for some reason the speaker of the Touch Diamond is not closed so that when peoples talk their voices echos back into the speaker of the Touch Diamond and causing the echo. Could that be the problem? Can I check something? Does anyone has similar problems? Would be great to hear from someone!
Thanks!
Richard
Found this nice stereo bluetooth headset:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-MM-100-Wireless-Bluetooth/dp/B002VPDOIC/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1264623283&sr=8-12
I'm interested in buying, but I'm not sure if it will work properly with HTC HD2.
Have anyone experienced this headset together with HTC HD2 ?
I have the MM200. Works pretty well.
I have bought a Sennheiser Travel 450 MM) but there is a known issue with the sound with these bluetooth headsets. There is a registry tweak that greatly improves the sound but not completely. I have contacted HTC about this and they told me that they are aware of this issue and they don't know when the hotfix will be available. So have that in your mind if you want to buy a bluetooth headset for your HD2.

Hey,
How long do you get between recharges?

Hi,
Does the unit autopair to the HD2 with A2DP and handsfree profiles? Or do you still manually need to pair the A2DP?
