P3700 is the actual model name/number.
You can change this!
In Advanced Config...
Internet Explorer --> User Agent custom base: HTC_P3700 Mozilla/4.0
Just go there and change to "The beautiful HTC Diamond" And we will spread the word

To increase more sensivity go to HKLM-DRIVERS-TOUCHPANEL-PRESSURE THRESHOLD and modify to 200 or more.

Yes, and No. Respectively
I'm not finding Touchflo particularly usefy on such a small screen, in fact it gest in the way of normal screen use, like multiple item selection in nPop, is it possible to turn it off ?
thx for letting me know. based on what the previous poster said my huge hulk hands would prolly struggle with that anyway.
shame about Cube not being present (did I read it's hidden in the registry somewhere?) and I guess there are cooked roms thor maybe a cab that feature it .
just how good is it - (the cube that is)?
what 's the general consensus of the cube? maybe I should start a separate thread - let me know if I need to...
cheers,
lr
Honestly, the cube is more style and splash than substance. I'm fine without the cube. I do like the rest of the Touch interface though.

Does anyone else get an Access Denied error when trying to change this setting? Using Mobile Registry Editor 1.11.
me too, i used another regedit program as well as Mobile Registry Editor v1.11 (CeRegEditor) with the same result...access denied.

Humm... that's no good. I don't have the phone yet
One file is a theme... the other is the home plugin.
I installed it, nothing happens EXCEPT Russian (or something) can be seen when I start my phone (just for 1 second instead of START).
Big flavor, are you Russian? I hope u didn't send us a virus

I am not russian, and I'm not trying to start a cold war on your phone.
I got both of those files from freewarepocketpc.com
It only installs the russian language pack? That's pretty crappy. Well... according to ^that guy the home plugin comes by default. and looking at the home screen posts, it is apparent.
The website u mentioned above.. what is that?? I went there and they only have 2 apps (for money)
freewarepocketpc.com ?!
Btw: can you please recommend me some websites where I can get WM software from?
My ULTIMATE source is http://www.PDA4x.com

Just installed it on my Diamond. Lightning fast. Never saw such a performance with Flash on a mobile. Forget everything else.
Think one reason why it's so fast: the Proxy sends only ONE file containing all subfiles of a web page.
Should be standard browser on the cooked roms
Skyfire... OK!
I agree, it is pretty good. The only thing I find is the screen isn't as sharp as Opera - an the virtual scroll wheel doesn't work in Skyfire to zoom in and out... a feature I just can't live without!
and where we can get this skyfire?????????

I have BIG privacyissues with skyfire's proxy.

Do u mean skyfire's proxy ??
Is that means all my data should pass threw skyfire's proxy ? , If yes it's lame and risky by getting in the future Advertizing and lets don't talk about passwords etc..
Skyfire works the same way as Opera Mini. All web traffic is processed in a central location, compressed, and then sent to your phone.
You should never conduct confidential business over either of these browsers. But it's just dynamite for flash content!
Hi,
i could download skyfire only with the mobile IE. The default OPERA doesn't work with the site http://get.skyfire.com
And it doesn't work, it hangs at the "locating" message...

I totally agree, in fact I'd say the image quality is absolute rubbish, it's like using some old WM5 application. Hope this is corrected in future releases.
Does also feel very beta as well but it is a beta anyway lol.
Is good to see BBC iplayer working though
Can't wait for future release
non us
glad to see i can now try this....fingers crossed
will try when i get home now
hello
I am running WM6.1 and using the standard internet explorer that comes with it, why is it everytime I type a full website address in and wait for it to load it always reverts to some mobile version of the site, some do have a link to view the site full but most don't
is there a way round this problem ?
many thanks
Andy

Use a browser like Sykfire or Opera, or change your "Agent" using Schap's Advanced Config.

Thanks, it seems to of reset back to that anyway by itself.
By changing the user agent string in Opera to enable me to use the iplayer, will this spoil/change the way all other webpages are displayed if it thinks my phone is different to what it actually is?
for me it has stopped some of the autodetect settings.
For example...facebook now goes to the full version as opposed to the m.facebook.com page...where as before it used to automatically goto the mobile version
