Some of us have the time to actively share in many other forums including other pocket pc forums, political, music, sports , social etc....I personally share in in 6 forums including xda developers....Do you also actively share in other forums or this is the only one ???
I am active on Howard's Forums for the Cricket sub section, and a few music forums. I am most active on a ex- Jehovah's Witness site.
diabolo.ca -its ownage

Hey its high time that XDA had an official community on networking sites..!!!
It becomes easy for the COOKs to communicate & also any prob's can be solved with much ease I guess..!!!
What's wrong with a forum?
Forgive me for saying so, but why is everybody so eager to expand xda to every different medium on the internet?
What's wrong with a forum? We've also got a wiki (albeit, the worst wiki software I've seen). For group chat there's also at least an IRC server that I know I've read about (never checked it out myself). Besides actual development-oriented tools (bug tracker, version control system, etc) what more do we need?
well i think there is one community on orkut for xda dont think thats official.
most of the discussions there are childish
and i guess orkut is preferred mostly in india (i also use it) and brazil
its not universal
maybe facebook can be an option
but still i personally prefer xda forums
its not that bad to have discussions chats etc
i dont think there is anything wrong here why should we go anywhere when we can do all that stuff on xda itself
just my personal opinion though
sorry if it is harsh
Hey everyone,
I have been a member here for a little over a year and the wealth of info on this forum is incredible. I would like to give all you MotoCliq owners the opportunity to also have a forum similar to XDA for all your MotoAndroid needs.
So me and a few of the others from here put together MotoAndroid.info
Come on my and discuss the MotoAndroid Devices
To all XDA Developers, feel free to come by and promote your Android apps, and discuss roms, and dev for the Moto Cliq, Dex and Droid.
(Hopefully this will help you guys keep this forum HTC based)
Thanks
nice site pimp

Lurking in the android dev section, would like to post on there with questions to relating problems but i need >10 posts :[[[[
Phone: x10i
Like it?: ahhhhhhhh, it's not bad, it has it's flaws.
use it for: music, facebook, games, obvious other features.
provider: o2 contract
Cheers, for listening and I hope to gain my knowledge on phones as well as helping others.
Welcome to the forum.
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App

welcome here
mmm..there's a welcome thread as a sticky
Thread closed.
I have been active at this wonderful forum for quite long now.
As usual and quite normally , we address fellow members as 'bros' , 'man' etc (the usual he pronouns).
Kinda this struck as a 2 AM thought...
Are there any active members at xda who are not men?
Any wonder woman / trans hiding in here , whom the tech world can look up as an inspiration to?
Guess none.....
Hi, I think the Girls on xda? thread should answer your question. I'll close this thread so that you can participate on that one. Thanks!
Hello homies. I am Roni, the sponsorship coordinator for XDA. I mostly post content for our sponsors, in the form of articles, threads, or videos. I've been at XDA for about 6 or 7 years or something. I can't even remember anymore. I also spend a lot of time on the forums, so feel free to reach out to me with any questions!

This is a new section and I'm honored to be the first to reply, first question:
How are you doing?
Second question: do you post exclusively promoted content on this account, and enjoy xda with a secondary account or you do that with the same account?

Cool a new forums
Like this section! Cheers
Good idea. Now new members can post their first post here and introduce themselves instead of using the old stickied thread
Hi Roni! Great to meet you. So does that mean we can't ban you for spamming?

Roni does much more than sponsorships. He's a jack of all trades, whether that means helping to look at key data, updating menus around the site, or helping with social media.
New guy here, learning the ropes. I'm a Windows + Powershell person. So, totally out of my element here with Roms and boot loaders. Been sporting a Moto Edge racer with Lineage 17. Thanks XDA for making this possible!
