Radio recording - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

Default diamond radio software doesn't provide such feature as record. Is there any alternative handy software to listen and record radio on HTC Diamond?

Have you tried with a just-in-time recording software such as Resco Audio recorder? I had it on my Tytn II and it worked nicely. Now I haven't yet tried with the Diamond...

TCPMP and Stereo Bluetooth Headset

Hey everyone,
My Siemens Stereo BL Headset (BenQSiemens HHB-750) has buttons for "next/previous/stop/play". When I'm using Windows Media Player those buttons work. But when using TCPMP the buttons are not supported.. e.g. I press next track but nothing happens. When using the CorePlayer only "previous track" works. When using HTC Audio Manager (player) everything works. But I really want to use TCPMP. I think TCPMP is better than CorePlayer...
Is there a plugin for TCPMP or another solution for this problem?
Maybe the solution is a trick with the keyboard shortcuts...
Thanks
Happy New Year
PUSH PUSH ..
the button
so theres no plugin to get tcpmp work with a stereo bluetooth headset including buttons???
my guess is that TCPMP doesn't have support for the A2DP or whatever protocol it is that controls the buttons, and i don't think they plan on doing anything as there isn't support for TCPMP anymore

Diamond TouchFlo 3D Bluetooth AVRCP Support

During listen to the music (TouchFlo 3D Music) with the bluetooth (Clip Radio), Window Media will pop up if I press the next button in the bluetooth headset. I expect next song of the TouchFlo 3D Music will be selected and played.
Is it the problem of the TouchFlo 3D Music (not support the AVRCP) or my bluetooth headset problem ?
Hi
In case you are still experiencing the problems with your bluetooth devise and the touchflo interface, there is a solution now available.
This problem basically affected HTC devices running Touchflo interface so you are not alone!
Basically over at http://www.conduits.com you can download their latest Pocket Player v3.71 which when used on your device will allow your bluetooth remote controls to advance/retard/pause/restart whatever you are playing on their Pocket Player, instead of sending them to the Touchflo music player.
Hope this helps!
But the fast-forward-function and rewind does not work with Pocket Player :-( Any ideas?

yeah, I'm having this problem. Just bought a bt headset but can't fast forward or rewind with that, just skip/previous.
Is this a diamond or a headset problem/limitation?
FF and REV finally working with Pocket Player 4
The headline is already saying it

new solution
There is a solution here on XDA site, using WM6.5 drivers. do a search
Took me a while to find the right terms to search on, but here is the fix referred to above.

mp3 recordin

I am not sure if this thread should be here, please reposition if it's not.
when i go to Voice recording format in the Input setup, i can't find any mp3 formats, is this normal? and how can I add new formats?
Use Vito Audio Notes, it allows you to record to MP3.

what if I want to use the built in wm6.1 audio recording programs like audio recorder or notes to record mp3? i can't imagine there is no codec or plugin that we can install so wm6.1 would record mp3 on it's own
Try this, I just tested it on WM6.1. Works perfectly.

NoteM on WM 6.1 - Freezes upon closing other actions
I've used NoteM since I had my XDA way back always been a great piece of software. Lately though it continually freezes my phone. I can open it and record and usually stop recording but when I close the software or switch to another task it freezes my phone. Anybody have the same problem?
Many thanks,

[Q] Call recorder settings?

Hi, I have installed ultrashots 2-way driver cab and have been trying to find a good auto call recorder. I tried Resco first. But when I tried mp3 for encoding, the recording which I got was broken. There were long chunks of the conversation missing here and there. I read some where that this is because of encoding error due slow cpu. X1's cpu is not really that slow for a PPC. It said in that thread that wav encoding should work fine, but wave files are too big.
I also tried Auto Call Recorder 1.24. That too showed the same problem with GSM 6.10 encoding.
I wanted to know if there is some settings of these encoders which will let me record all the calls without jitters. Or are there some other call recorder which functions well with X1.
PS: I have a stripped stock ROM (All junk media removed, ULDR removed, PP @16MB)
You have to use the resco codec pack in order to get decent mp3 recording with resco audio recorder. I've got the codec pack and I use 44100 Hz, 16 bits, 64 kbps, mono. This way I get relatively small files of decent quality.
Will using the codec pack remove skipping during call recording? That was the problem with both Resco ad ACR. Or should I try lower bitrate modes?

Using the codec pack will solve all problems you described. The built in mp3 codec is just unusable. In order the get a record without interruptions you have to lower bitrate, frequency etc. until the resulting record is of really bad quality. So like i wrote before you have to get the codec pack.

[Q] Video Player with Audio offset?

When I watch video with bluetooth headphones, there is an audio delay from the bluetooth that puts the audio/video out of sync. On my old Palm Centro, TCPMP had a setting where you could adjust the audio offset, which came in handy for this.
Does anyone know of an Android video player app that has this feature? So far, I have not been able to find one.
