-Olympus E-420 DSLR. Demo model, bought it for peanuts and now realising photography ain't a cheap sport.
-Bunch of other crap: GameBoy Color w/ Pokemon Pinball, great speakers, spare keyboards...
I'm using my trusty old Treo as a transition phone, waiting for my HTC Dream to arrive. I still think it has wonderful software features phone nowadays miss.

Dell Vostro 1500

apple tv

anybody got any exp with it?
was thinking about getting one mainly for
having an easy access to music from the pc
in the livingroom for partys where i guess
the easyness of apple would be handy if you
had a bit of a drink
and maybe the odd yourTube click for fun
and a few video clicps not too many so i guess
the 40gb would be enough
apple TV sucks, especially the value of it. Its simply too expensive for its features. I rather buy a home media centre PC for the living room TV.
I quite like them
Dont expect to get every youtube clip on it though, they are currently somewhat limited.
Certainly when 'modified' they become great little boxes capable of playing XVID encoded videos.
A friend of mine (www.semthex.com) developed a kernel for it that allows Tiger 10.4 to run natively!
Well worth the money IMHO.
buy a used macmini add $20 adapter
mini duo +
dvi- hdmi
or dvi to s
4 usb ports
usb to s-video nad sound
i or 2 firewire ports to all of the above including dvi hdmi
all white apple adapters frys
assuming that mac tcv is still over priced
mini is mac tv skills and adapter (no skills if you can listen to a guy at the apple store)
assuming mactv is still $$$$
ebay mini duo $300 xp upgrade $0 Toshiba dvd player with usb port and divx on it$40
or even $20 linksys wireless gaming device to tv
yu got options
i dont really want another pc
what i want is a device with 0 boottime
and zero hassel
that my gf and or guests can operate without
having to mess about

Thinking to buy Bluetooth Gamepad, confused by same models from two OEMs

I stumped upon Chainpus (or Chinpus... whatever it may be) and MSI both having Bluetooth Gamepad models called BGP-100 (or BGP100). I am confused whether both are same wine with different brand names or what? And will it work on Xperia M 6.1 and may be later OS upgrades to come in future.
I also want to use with Vista laptop because I save USB port and don't want to lug different USB dongles. Main purpose is portability and as less as possible items while on the go.
Did anyone used this gamepad sucessfully either with WM 6.1 and Vista?
Any help?
Bought it and it works like a treat on Xperia as well as my Vista laptops. Much cooler item. Like and love it.
And there is no difference as to MSI or Chainpus brands, model BGP100 is the same thing.

How big is your LCD monitor?

I use a 27" monitor.
Worst 'i have a big monitor' thread ever.
I've had my Dell 2407 for 4 years now. Sadly, you can't find PVA monitors of that quality any more. I hope it doesn't die on me.

So that's what the kids call it these days? And LCD Monitor??
15'' haha I hope I can buy a 24'' IPS soon
dual-24's (sammy)
15.6" on my laptop, 21.5" on my desktop and 42" for my media PC
All 1080p.
Ok
16inch laptop monitor, 19inch led vizio tv, & the best of all 46inch samsung led
10.1"
it depends how far I settle the beamer from the wall
mostly about 2,5 meters.
13.3"
Sent from my GT-P1000 using XDA App
80" BenQ projector
17" AOC desktop
10.1" netbook
3.5" phone
22" Cheap tv (sometimes use as monitor.)

13"
ehh. larger than yours? just kidding, I have a 48 inch tv with a desktop connected, and a 20 inch I hook my netbook up to.
Currently using a couple of 23" Dell monitors I purchased in 2009. Could probably do with upgrading them soon as I've noticed one has become rather 'dull' after a couple of years of quite heavy usage.

[Q] Adding a bigger screen to Tytn II?

I have a Tytn II lying around gathering dust because there is simply no marekt value in it for trading. SO I have had a bit of a silly idea and wonder if it would work.
I have been interested in the idea of a Car PC for quite a while with a 7 inch touchscreen in the dash. Costs can get up there a bit once you have bought the screen, the pc itself etc. So I was wondering how easy it would be to use the TyTn II innards as the basis for a Car PC and somehow connect a 7 inch touchscreen to the Tytn II motherboard.
To me it would be a great solution for running satnav in car, and media.
What are your thoughts, do you think it would even be possible?
Cheers.
Yes, possible at least the video is, without wrecking your titan too, There's a cable you can buy that lets you send video from the titan to any screen with RCA Yellow input. I beleive it's available for PSP also. 'Mini-USB -> RCA Yellow AND white' They are on ebay.
From there you may somehow be able to port the touchscreen to the Tytns miniusb port but im not sure (as it willb e occupied by the video out). Perhaps you could splice both into one then code it to work somehow. Interesting project - good luck

Bay Trail + tab casting?

I am wondering if anyone has a Windows 8(.1) Bay Trail (quad-core Atom) device yet? I am curious if these have enough processing power to cast tabs smoothly from Chrome, even if just at standard definition.
I was contemplating that I might buy the Asus T100 tablet/netbook when it comes out and relegate my old laptop and first-gen netbook to the donation bin. Of course, yes, I can also just plug the device straight into the TV.
