Is there a way to add seconds to the clock?
Or maybe even a skin that has seconds?
I really like this plugin! But the seconds would help tremendously!
MOD EDIT: Added that extra touch to subject line that clears doubts in others mind whether this offers or asks
Search for Pocket Digital Clock...
It is the same look clock as HTC Home's..with/without seconds, but you would lose the other HTC Home features (Favorite people, launcher, etc...)
Myself, I use PDC, without the seconds, and Pocket Plus for the other features
I've used PDC before in place of HTC Home but I had to go back because I really like the functions of HTC Home. Ive also tried Mobile Shell and other similar programs but HTC Home is so convenient. Except for the seconds...

Hi,
I've been searching for a while now; i think htc home is fine, except for the clock.
I would like to replace the original htc clock (with the lousy alarm function) with spb time, is that possible?
If so, i'm gonna buy spb time, because it rocks!

SPB Time is a stand alone product, it will not interface with the bulit-in alaram app. And if you are looking to get SPB to light up the little alarm clock on HTC home, good luck. I've tried already via reg hacks, the only way to do it would be for SPB to somehow add the function in Time.
I installed SPB Time and Pocket Plus to completely get rid of HTC Home
Actually, the best way to integrate SPB Time with HTC Home wouldn't be to replace the clock, simply to change the linking such that tapping on the clock would open SPB time instead of the Windows Mobile Time settings.
If that's impossible (which it's looking like from the research I've been doing), another option would be to use either the HTC Home launcher to run SPB time, or to enable SPB time's Screen Saver mode.
yep, without re-engineering the Home plugin to do that, it would be impossible. Although that is a great suggestion and probably the only way it would work. It would be nice if that was a registry entry, just select the alarm app you want and it will open when clicking on the time displayed on HTC Home.
Hell, I would be happy if SPB could hack/hook into the alarm icon of the OS (it displays on the home htc and on the standard OS date plugin) and display the alarm icon when an alarm is set.
Any of you guys using SPB TIme also using S2U2? if so, let me know, got something for you to try....
...the text above the tabs (e.g. carrier/date above the clock, "weather," "launcher," etc.) on the HTC home plugin? I'm hoping by doing so the plugin will slide up to the task bar and give me a little extra real estate on the home screen.
Thanks

Why don't you use: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=374751
Two possible solutions for more today screen space
Not exactly what you want but you could try these programs.
You can use pmc todayshrink to remove the soft key bar at the bottom. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=342837
Or you could try ultimate launcher to make as many different Today Screens as you need. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=366796
Thanks. Both are great suggestions and probably workable alternatives to what I had in mind. And b/c I obviously didn't do a good enough job explaining it, here's a screen cap that shows what I'm trying to remove...
Thanks again for replying.

Does anyone have a tweak for this? Kaisertweak didn't remove this for me unfortunately...
Are you running with or without the AT&T BloatWare?
I've removed the Bloat and I don't have that AT&T bar listed.
I'm running SPB Time, HTCHomePlug, Messaging, Calendar, and Tasks on my Today screen.
Date, OZIM_Plugin, Device Lock, Wireless, Music Plugin, and Owner Info are turned off.
I am trying to get my home screen to look like the HTC Home screen, with a slight exception.
I want a large clock (like HTC home)
I want 3 small buttons under it (1 for calls, 1 for messages, and 1 for sms)
THATS IT.
I dont want the links bar to appear under this..
Now, is there a way to mod HTC to take the links (home, favorite people, weather, etc) completely off (as in NO links)? Yes, I have tried HTC customization, and just unchecking those items in the today control panel (htc home section)..
Any ideas?

Sounds like you should try SPB Mobile shell 2.0
Im looking for something a little lighter than spb. it slows stuff down a touch.
I am pretty new to Touchflo and am wondering who is using (and enjoying) touchflo, and who still uses HTC home. I remembered reading somewhere that some people uninstalled touchflo and kept with HTC home. I want to see everyone is doing before i get fully on board. Also, if you use another option I didn't list, put in a comment and i can add it to the poll.
While we are on the subject what HTC Home VGA does everyone use? I have tried the PJ HTC Home VGA but has issues with weather...
Damned!
It's hard to live without the touch flo !
We expected it for a long time .....
Its really cute but less productive ....... not unfortunatly as deep thinked than the iphone UI (if we need an exemple)
BTW i can't live without ! everytime i put it off my raph feels naked !
Once i got my hand on SPB Shell, Everything is faster and easier to access. No look back to TF3D here. The interface of spb shell is just beautiful and straight forward. I can run both lunchers side by side but I don't see the need. Fuze's battery life is very good on spb shell tho some reports said it drained battery life especially when run together with TF3D. Well.. my battery last almost 2 days with moderate use with spb shell ( with advanced config max power saver setting and manually switch between 3G and GRPS when needed. So, No compliant at all. )
Just did quite tough battery life test today. Talked on the phone for more than an hr. Missed a few calls. Did some text messaging and checked voice mails. Heavily surf on net using 3G and GRPS. Turn on and off different applications especially the browers/ calenda/ games/ online games... let data connection stay on... 25% left after about a 9-10 hrs day.

I'm using HTC Home, the one I'm using though is a custom one...I combined two installs that were originally seperate and changed the default clock to one I converted to VGA.
another for for HTC Home.. just enough info at your fingertips and doesn't make the phone drag a$$
Was running everything out of phoneAlarm using a full-screen skin that gave me access to literally everything I need from speed dial with photos to weather, app shortcuts, profile control...
Changed to running SBSH Pcoket Breeze in no tabs mode on the bottom 2/3 of my today screen with a different phoneAlarm screen above. The no-tabs mode allows me to swipe the PocketBreeze area of the screen to change to different tabs. The attached screen capture shows my schedule for the next several days with the weather forecasts for those days (colors indicate appointment category).
im too using htc home inside ultimate launcher everything just fine. just have to chang icon size in ultimate laucher to 98 or so
i've tried everything.. mobilematt fuzzberry, dirty wrap etc.. but disable TF3D and running spb pocket plus are still the best for me.. i packed it with pocketbreeze to maximize my appointments schedule.. the spb pp has everything.. batt indicator, shortcuts on Today with multi-tabs (categories) memory status, backlight adjustment, soft-reset... everythiingggg is on Today screen
with 2 taps, i can run any third-party programs i've installed including games, settings, silent mode, vibrate mode etc...
pocketbreeze is to manage my whole month schedule.. either meetings, site visits, dateline.. or family gathering events, birthdays, weddings,
no more touching and flowing.. LOL
HD port tf3d at the moment. But looking hard at the spb but hard to find good vga themes.
I actually don't use either. I use rlToday, which is a simple XML based homescreen.
Here is the version I made for the Samsung Epix.
The one I'm using now replaces the text below the clock with 4 big icons (SMS, Email, Missed Calls, and VM) with their respective counters.
So I still have the neat clock (not animated) and big buttons to get me to the needed app.
There is lots of room between the clock and the 4 bottom buttons... I was thinking of adding a Google Search bar or something... but I dunno.
I just like it because it is simple and displays what I need it to in an easy to read/access fashion.
Is there a way to customize HTC Home? Like, can I change the look of it at all? Also, is there a way to make it finger scrollable, and also D-Pad scrollable? I know in some of the ROMs it's somewhat D-pad scrollable, but it seems to never work right.
I'd like to lower HTC Home to near the bottom of the screen (like Manilla) and make it more scrollable (like Manilla). I'd also like to customize the graphics, and possible add/remove icons.
Is there any way to do any of this? I know people are putting a ton of time into customizeng Manilla, but I would rather use HTC Home because of the whole landscape support thing.
Try Advance Config
Go here,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=470370
Scroll down to post #2 then download System Tools Cabs
It's a Zip file with all the system tools, and Advance Configuration is in there.
Once you install AC, run it, scroll to HTC home and unlock its position. This will enable it to scroll though, so if you have too many things on the home screen, the scroll bar will be on top of your htc home, make it looks ugly ~ but if you don't mind then try it out
finger scrollable?!!! You can use the Dpad, just press up or down untill one of the tap icon was selected, then press left or right to flip trough those taps... HTC Home is design to be light and fast ~ if you want all the complex M2D functions might as well just use M2D ~ sacrifice the buggy landscape mode.
-post removed- rant was here before(might come back) but im not sure what you mean. Do you mean by customizing HTC home changing the clock, tabs, etc.?
Well I was initially trying to make HTC Home look nicer- like M2D, and make it finger scrollable like M2D. I have since installed SPB Mobile Shell, and I no longer care about HTC Home.
I was just fed up with M2D and it's sluggish, buggy, no landscape, performance. M2D is nice to look at, and it is finger friendly as well. So I wanted to combine its looks, and its finger friendly operation, with the snappy performance and stability of HTC Home.
SPB Mobile Shell seems to do all of that, and plenty more...

Looks to be a little cheaper than Mobile Shell.
