3.21.90 Radio cab? - Wing, P4350 Herald Upgrading

Please help me out i am looking for a radio that would enhance my signal and i had it on my previous rom but then i updated my rom to the open touch 6.0 biggy. Any assistance in this would be very greatful. Thanks in advance.

you have to flash the radio.
it doesnt come in cab format

have you ever done it before? cuz i do not know how i would go about that. Do i have to intertwine it with the ROM or do i do it by itself. I have never done this before do you think you can walk me thru or tell me how..

get the radio(its an .nbh file) put it in the folder that the open touch .nbh was in and flash it like a normal rom.
nothing will happen to your rom so dont worry about that

ok sounds easy enought thank you. By any chance do you know what link i can follow to get the radio file? i have looked and searched throughout the forums but i have not been able to find it.

but it`s all gone over my head.
can someone please tell me simple steps of what to do.
i want / no sorry need to upgrade my svp m2000 orange upto
a 1.4 rom.
i originally had a 1.4 rom on my blueangel.
but i had a problem with playing video files,
so i took it to someone who knows a bit about these,
he said to downgrade the rom to a 1.3 which he did
but now i dont have my camera or video working even tho it did before he downgraded it.
i have tried to install a 1.4 rom but i keep getting country code error
i have been trying to read about this..but to be honest not sure i know how or what i need to resolve this problem.
there that is my problem..so does anyone know the solution.
1. what software do i need apart from a 1.4 rom
2. which is the best rom to install
3.do i need to do anything else to my blueangle before trying to install the rom...

Just do as it's written on this page
READ
First Method (Quick/Easy) (TYPE II)
Download update to desktop
Unrar or unzip all files in exe or rar into a new folder (Yes you can Unzip the .exe file)
Open the folder with the extracted files
Download this file: MaUpgradeUt_noID.ZIP
Extract MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe from this file and place it with the other upgrade files.
Run this new exe file instead of BaUpgradeUt.exe to update your rom
If you get an error the first time, run MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe again
And perhaps pick a Rom that comes from your Vendor.
First of all, you have to hard reset your device.
Then, you said that originaly you have the 1.4 ROM version which is the latest and includes radio version 1.12
All you have to do is to up-grade the radio version to 1.13 and do a hard reset again.
You can get the radio 1.13 from the below link.

I hope this will solve your problem.

Khaled.
@khaledelfeki
he is on a 1.3x Rom with no camera support.
He needs to reflash, and then why not 1.40 with all customizations that fits he operator

Need help with Updating Rom

Just got my X1 today and I'm trying to update it before I play around with it. My first problem is I'm trying to run the Hard SPL Utility, but when it asks me to update the image my image # is higher than the version it wants to update it to.
Image Version: 1.05.948.11
to
Image Version: 1.00.X1
Should I let it?
I'd like to add that I updated from R1 to R3 this afternoon also.
Yes, it's supposed to be like that. Try this guide, it helped me:
Tutorial:

Videos just in case text tutorials aren't enough:

Thank you NeoXero. One more question, and I haven't been able to find this using the advanced search either, but can you backup and flash the X1 with the PC. I don't have a MicroSD card, yet...should be arriving sometime this week. Thank you again.
Well, unfortunately I've never tried it on the PC, because my connection with PC and Phone isn't too good. However, I'm pretty sure it's just like installing Hard-SPL, just run the exe file that comes with it (after hard-spling of course). Look around, I'm sure there's some stickied threads that explain it in more depth.
Also, I don't know how to back up anything. I've never done it because I saw no need to.
Sorry for all of these questions. Where do I find my stock rom to extract the RUU_signed.nbh to the baserom folder?
I'm just trying to take all the precautions possible.
Ok, I think I've gotten one step closer. Forgive me everybody if my lack of skills frustrates anybody.
I've downloaded the R3 Rom from the library.
Extracted it and renamed it to RUU_signed.nbh.
Placed that in my baserom.
I take it that's what I had to do because everything seems to be working so far.
Well, thanks to NeoXero I managed to get my custom flash done. I can't believe all the people on this forum and what lack of support from the members it has.

Question! Need expert's help!

I have been using Manila Rom's for a while now and i never had any problem with updating weather etc. But then I flashed an X2 Rom, and then went back to a manila Rom and now weahter won't update anymore... Weather for other city's will update but "my location" won't. I cannot understand why because it worked perfectly before. I tried various Rom's but the problem remained and then I tired task29 to wipe my device but still no luck!
Now I can only get my weather to update using Settings->Miscelaneous settings->AutoData Config and then it works but the problem is that not all manila Rom's have this option, and none of the non-manila Rom's have it so the amount of Rom's I can use is limited.
Does anyone know a solution that will keep working eventhough I flash diffrent Rom's?? It would be greatly appreciated!!
Ok so now i want to try flashing the stock dutch Rom for Xperia to see if that will help. But the dutch Rom won't flash.. It is an .image file instead of a .nbh file. Any answers for this??

rename to *.nbh...
Lol, fail
Ok so I flashed a stock Rom, hoping that it would somehow revert whatever is causing 'my locations' not to update but it still doesn't work
I am going crazy over here and I have no ideas left
Please someone make a suggestion even if it doesn't make sense!!

You are great! I could kiss you! You have no idea how long this thing was bugging me... Thank you thank you
Oh and next time when i have a problem I will check htc threads aswell since I use a manila Rom (duh! )

different method of flashing custom rom's

hey guys i have been wanting to hspl my device for a while (see signature(pure). but i have seen that it actually working is very tricky... doesnt always work...
a few weeks ago i talked with a developer about this and he said if you could build your own rom that matches your spl and device perfectly than you dont neeed to modify your device's spl....
perfect for me only looking to flash once... to a 6.5.3...
i had no idea how i should go about doing this until i found this project...
http://ip208-100-42-21.static.xda-developers.com/private.php?do=newpm&u=1915902
using a program called yang...
could i extract only the rom part out of acustom rom and not the spl and fuse it with the official htc original ship rom so i do not have to hspl it????
if i have confused anyone i am sorry or am completely off ... again sorry
however if you have even the slightest of an idea of what im trying to do could you please help me .. and possibly anyone else who might need help
ps. i have flashed many roms on other device for my self and others... always stupidly easy and problem free... like lg incite (took me 10minutes to learn how to flash and to do it and boot up) that thing is a tank ... almost impossible to brick... but it always seems like we run into issues with htc devices and their spl's.... ugh
Check your link as it is invalid.
What you are saying makes sense and could possibly work.
You would just have to find your stock ROM, find a kitchen to decompile it, change some external packages and see if it flashes.
Keep an unaltered copy of your stock ROM in case you need to flash back to it.

Some question about first flash

Hi guys!
I'm a new user and i wanna flash for the first time my opal t2223 with the pajerm's rom lite 21697 but i've some question:
1. i've downloaded a stock rom for this phone, for safety, and i found the .nbh file and a radio file, but in the rar file of pajerm's rom i found just the .nbh file, i need also the radio file to flash this rom on my phone or i can flash it without?
2. during the flash process sim card and micro sd must be inserted in the phone or is better that i plugout?
3.some backup of text msg, contacts and other from wm 6.1 created with spb backup work correctly if restored in wm 6.5?

So, did you manage to flash it without finding Radio?
If you may, post your steps as you did it so others can make use of it. And hope you enjoy your new OS
pajerm told me that the radio is part of the software that runs from near the peripheral and the interface with the operating system, it is not necessary to update the radio when you change a rom, because each type of PPC has its own radio i guess, infact i haven't found any problem during flashing operation by following guide from the first posts
I hope I was clear enough
