No more than 5 years back...
and now..We are running Windows Mobile 6.1
for a device for which WM2003SE wasent even officially released
Salute to Himalaya's ( i mean the deice )
Not only 6.1 but with a choice of touch and cube interfaces and programs.
I'm sorry for all those people who just buy an expensive WM6.x device, who simply use it with the standard software, who still constantly need their stylus and who will never find out what they really bought.
I pitty those who still run WM2003 much more...
well....i still got two himalaya
hmmm 2 Hima..thanks to that theif i havent a single
Ather, watch your language in the presence of a lady and a moderator! Please replace that word? BTW I don't know what happened to your Hima?
lol im sorry....edited my post me lady
to me an xda 2 is very cool.
it's my first touchscreen based windows mobile phone.
my first windows mobile phone was a samsung sgh-i300 (I still own it but I don't know where it is, I think on my desktop somewhere)
I came from my first mobile phone for about 10 years to my second one, 4 years later, a sharp... and 2 years later it was a nokia n-gage qd. then half a year later a nokia 9300.. then a nokia n90. then my windows mobile based samsung, half a year later my Sony Ericsson W 810i (don't know why SOny, it was very important to get a new handy soon, because my Samsung was broken at the Samsung Service). Then, just before 2 months, I got my XDA II !!!
I love it. Of course, no hardware-keyboard, no good sound, giant and fat (thats kinda good for me with my big hands )... The screen isn't very bright , but its big. Is it 3 or 3.5" ? Dont know, but it's enough
Thats my story how I came to this xda2. And to me it's like a new device (I mean those Omap CPUs are just the half of this cpu, ram and rom are just okay... sd slot is very good because cheap) so I think it is one of the oldest BUT BEST handhelds ...
hmm if i stated my device history here..i think 2 posts would be enuf
any way yes the xda2 has 3.5" screen..as for the keyboard try using resco full screen kyboard, Touchpal..
u also forgot the camera quality
long live himalaya
ive been using my himalaya for over 2 yrs now, ive seen lot of new pda coming in and coming out, but the style and the functionality of hima can never be beaten, 400 mhz, upgradeable up to 6.5? who knows, by the end of the year, its gonna be upgradeable to windows 7? hahahaha we wish!
unbeatable himalaya
i've bought this at august 2k8.
very satisfied...i choose himalaya based to advice from little brother of XOJ(indonesian ppc community) moderator, he used BA(the legend coz it's the first BA which used 1st HELMI_C wm6(HELMI cooked on that device))&MPX200, and that made me unpatience to have ppc, coz my budget is too low so i decide to bought himalaya for my first ppc and i've never dissapointed.
old hardware but newest software
thanx to all himalaya master who keep himalaya updated
有り難うございます.
(mean thank you in japanese)
happy with himalaya
my 5 hima's working well with thestuf i get here.
he athar you must live in the netherlands there are anough hima's.
but go one whit the job and make the hima life for ever.
regards,
Chris
Indeed, Himalaya is now limited edition. Take care your Hima well cuz there is not going to be a new one for a replacement. I'm finding good condition Hima with all equipments and box as well; I only found good condition BA.
Anyway, cheers Himalaya users.
Himalaya is great device have ever built from HTC and only could compare with his successor Blue Angel as well which running smoothly from WM2003 until WM6.5, perhaps MS or HTC also never imagine that this device still exist even they always create their new OS or device. Easy come but difficult to let it go...that's Himalaya.

Unfortunately our hima is showing its age. More and more are getting broken everyday and difficult to find parts. I gave up the ghost on mine (which is actually my wife's who got a newer pda with WM6) about 3 years ago because of a broken charging/usb slot. Can't find anyone who can fix it since the official support shop closed down before it broke. Was just playing with it with its old WM2003 until I found a group of hima users here and I was directed to someone who has the parts and skills to repair it. After that i read through xda-developers and now I have a WM6.5 powered device! How cool is that? Better than my wife's WM6! My only regret is that back then It was easy to find 2nd hand units at low price but never paid attention to it. now I'm trying to find them and they're all gone. Pity.
What I like most about it? The size of the screen. My eyesight is not exactly what it used to be and having that large screen really helps!
Hei..I think it's a good news...
there are a lot of 2nd himalaya @Indonesia,,
and there is 1 shop i've found who claimed can fix the broken usb/pin from himalaya and they said it'll change with the original part of himalaya.
himalaya
hi
Indeed it's impressive to see WM6.5 run smooth on this device, but I wonder what is the advantage of the himalaya over the alpine, on the paper alpine is more powerfull not ? (or I've missed something). and not WM5 or 6 capable ?
Recently i've tryied a game (krally) on the diamond !!! and the speed difference is incredible the same game on himalaya (sun_dream 6.5) is a LOT smoother and faster (I think a vga screen for this size is very useless)
So I am very happy with himalaya thanks to the comunity to keep it alive !!!
i thought i would give up my himalaya, after all, its heavy, its big, the camera is no good, plus my usb connector pins are broken. luckily i was able to upgrade to wm 6.1 before the pins broke.
just before i was gonna give up my old himalaya, i found something that made me keep it. opera mini. although we could have our choice of browsers for this device, opera mini allowed me to use my hima large screen, touch pad to the fullest, i need not say that im experiencing unlimited internet on less than 10pesos prepaid load. thats 25c US cents for limitless surfing.
i may edit this post later but even though i had to buy a separate batt charger for me hima and 2 extra batts, i still love my hima.

Hi all,
first of all, many thanks to all of you that contribute to this board. Amazing stuff, thank you.
I'm in the market for a new handset and have been attracted to the Tytn II, Vario III or whatever you want to call it, for a few weeks now. I currently own a Windows Mobile 6 smartphone (HTC S620) and am looking to get back to owning a pocket PC phone.
My question is this...
Should I splash out and get a Vario III (T-Mobile) now or wait for the next device in the Tytn / Vario series?
I realise that to wait for the 'next best thing' I'll be waiting forever, but does anybody know when the new Tytn III will be available? If not for another year or so, then I will purchase the Tytn II now, but if the next device in the series will be coming in the next few months (first half of next year), then perhaps I should wait.
Any advice you can give me will be very much appreciated.
Thanks to all,
Munkee
Since the Vario 3 only came out in september/october time, I'm guessing that any replacement would be at least a year away.
I just couldn't imagine a tytn 3/Vario 4 being released in the next few months.

They've been releasing a new version every year around the same time (to get the Christmas/etc sales). My guess, TyTn 3 / Vario 4 will be around Sept/Oct '08.

Only if you're mad will you contemplate a HTC product
Read some of the threads here about video performance
When you compare the video/camera to other phones, you'll find it poor. It's even poor compared to the model it's replacing
For video/camera, the LG Viewty kicks the Tytn II's pants.
Look at what you really want in a phone, then if it's a WM phone, read these forums.

Aside from the poor drivers, the tytn 2 is still a great phone. plus, there are tons of people here working on fixing the disabled drivers. In the next month or two, I see a fix for it and everyone will be praising XDA and their tytn 2's
Get it now....upgrade later! Like everyone already posted here, TyTN II and the variants just came out, so, any newer version is quite a wait!

Yes, it is a great phone, "specification wise", just let down by shoddy/non-existant drivers, and lack of support by HTC
It is hoped we can get a driver work around, however how usable that is might be supject to Intellectual Property issues.
HTC can fix something (witness the Hotfix for Bluetooth), I just hope they are reading this forum and witnessing the bad-feeling the issue of decent Video and Camera drivers is causing
Ahh hell I'll jump in, if you wait, it will be at least 9 months. When I got my 8525 about this time last year, there was a picture of the Kaiser floating on the web as the next generation. It took 9 months to come out and even with all the whining and wenging here, I can easily say that the Kaiser, which I bought the minute I could get one, is really a solid performer.
I use Slingbox streaming video with great performance
TCPMP (and soon Core 1.2) for Divx Movie Videos with great performance. I've always encoded portable video at 320x240 and it plays and looks great.
Integrated GPS and a good nav package (I like iGuidance v4) with spoken TTS street names is simply a killer app for a phone.
Streaming radio stations, youtube, Google maps, Live Search, all of it works great.
Tweaked drivers will be good to see, but for now I find everything working just well enough to allow me to use all features without any frustration.
With the great support on this forum this good product becomes a great product that gets better every week, till TyTN III comes along and we start again...

I have to agree on that.
On the missing video drivers: I don’t use camera or watch video with the Kaiser, so that doesnt bother me on the daily use.
Even though releasing a device without proper drivers is unforgivable!!!
Imagine BMW putting a new car on sale with buyers realising the 3rd gear is missing and BMW would just go; oh yes, we will try to put it in, in your 30 000 km tune-up.

Heh, the online video game industry has been developing products that way for years. Come to think of it, it's also how Harley-Davidson sells 90% of the chrome on their bikes.

Sorry I read this and from what I an see it basically came from someone who haes windows devices and the only thiing they can do is slag them off.
I run a tytnII and it is brilliant, it has so much built into it that nothing can come close for useability, upgradeability, flexibility etc.
Sure go out and buy an N95 ar a viewty but then be stuck with bugs in noka software, poor slide quality on the n95 and then be limited with what little applications that aren't available to run with the symbain OS.
As for the viewty well you are obviously not in the right market for commenting on a smartphone/windows mobile handset.
Tom
I've been using PDA's since the days of the Psion Organiser (around 1988) and I have to say that my Tytn II is without doubt the best device I've ever owned.
I've had it since October and I still can't fault it for what I use it for.
I know about the video driver issue, but I can't say it really bothers me - yes I'd like it fixed, but it doesn't stop me from enjoying my PDA.
For background - I normally enjoy a device for about 2 months and then get the urge to change to a different one. This hasn't happened yet with the Tytn II. I can't imagine being without it. It may not be perfect, but it's pretty damned close!
Something I would add is that the TyTN II is a device that can do a lot but surely if you wanted to watch a video you would use a TV??
The device is a PDA therefore to me that means the following:
Email
Internet
Calendar
Contacts
Tasks
For keeping track of things you want to track most and being able to be mobile with your email and internet when and if you need it.
Plus having a phone as well.

Woohoo! Yay for the good old Psions - I had a Psion 3C and then a Revo - wonderful pocket organizers - especially liked the keyboard on the Revo - all in all the best little PDA at the time IMHO.
The logical evolution of that is the Nokia Communicator series - I seriously considered getting one of them before I got my Wizard - but decided that the customizable nature of the Windows Mobile platform was the way to go, for me.

Performance at what ? if you go compare start up times of apps like contacts, video, sound etc, on other phones (eg Viewty, N95) they are often faster than the Tytn
As I stated in my post, you need to examine what you want in a phone
The Tytn II has lots of good things, unfortunately HTC's shotcuts and cost cutting have meant it's sub-optimal.

I have a TyTn One and loved the features but under WM5 almost any external programs I installed made it less stable. After Roming to WM6 the experience is much better - I use the T-mobile offical rom with a mixture of HTC plugins and external apps which makes it almost perfect - and it crashes perhaps once a month compared to several times a week.
I am looking to upgrade too but am not sure what to. Kaiser has GPS which I will like as a toy, and more RAM (don't care about ROM as have gigs of external) - RAM I care about as after loading the TYTN with apps I run at about 85% memory. I can see the Kaiser will solve these but otherwise the experience will be the same as TYTN with WM6. Is there anything else I should be considering?
What else on the market compares to these? If you are willing to criticise the TYTN2 then say what is better and why? My upgrade comes up in month and unless I see something radical I am in for more of the same (albeit slightly better).
the kaiser is a powerful device, and got alot under its skin, unforunatly its creators didnt give it the proper software/drivers etc
but its still a remarkable device, with amazing specs, we just need to fix what htc couldnt/wouldnt do...just as we do with windows, we mod it, fix it, makes it smoother and better
I had my herald, p4350, for aprox a year, it has been a great device, and still is.
When I got it, it had stock rom, to me it was a great device, and then I started to work on it...slowly I have learned to understand it. Now with my latest rom on my herald, with netcf 3.5 and my tweaks and all, my herald feels faster and responds way better then my tytn2. That really puzzels me, because my tytn2 has surperior hardware specs. But Im pretty sure that with the help of the amazing crew here on xda, the kasier will become the flagship it is ment to be.
cheers

Actually, YOU'RE the mad one if you think the Tilt is a terrible phone for everyone on the planet. I don't watch videos on my phone, i don't ride in busses or do other things where i'm sitting for a long time, and if i have a few minutes i browse the web with IE or opera (some sites are better in one or the other.. IE gets a bad wrap, but almost every blog i read has a mobile version that works great in IE, but not so well in opera).
And everyone *****es about the video drivers, but it's not that bad... my friend had a full episode of Top Gear that was 640 x 352 that he couldn't play on his 8525, but it played great on my phone. I know people have issues, but it's not terrible, and calling someone mad without even knowing what they would want is just ignorant.
I love my Tilt and i'd recommend it to anyone who knows what getting into windows mobile means (because WinMo is the big problem). Besides, it's already been confirmed that Google has an Android kernel for our processors, so once it all comes out, we can put android on the Tilt, making it an awesome phone!

i think ive narrowed it to n95 or touch diamond
i just hate the 4 gig un expandable memory in the touch diamond and does anyone kno the video recording resolution
No Offense, but what does this have to do with the Kaiser.
Maybe better off in the General General you'll get better answers then the ones you'd get from the Kaiser Fan boys!
oh yeah well im currently a kaiser user have been since jan, i deff want a new phone but which way do i turn
to be honest im a fanboy myself i just want input

I've wanted to play with a n95 for some time now...
n96 in q2-q3 '08 as well...
or, as what I will probably end up doing, wait for nokia to release a touch smartphone....
i answered the kaiser relation question
and the n95 has a better camera and storage
Nokia means no XDA-devs anymore... And you wouldn't want to miss this fine community eh?
Maybe some member will release a cab to increase the memory size... I'm still waiting for the FM-radio, watercraft, lightsaber,... cabs.
Touch Pro could solve your problem...
my vote goes to the n95 for now.i was always a htc fan up until the driver issues and no touchflo 3d.even though the diamond has these i dont like the size and shape plus of the storage issue
well xda devs rocks so there is that.
i dont think the touch pro is coming to orange uk

just to make you on the same page, xda doesn't make devices. the 2 phones mentioned are made by htc and the other by nokia
i meant xda developers not xda devices, i kno there made by htc, its written on my phone
n95!
it's one of the fastest phones out there!
great camera, lots of memory, there are tons of 3rd party apps for symbian, you can play GBA at full speed. it's an awesome phone!
while the touch diamond on the other hand has a qualcomm processor...big epic fail...and every phone with a qualcomm processor will be an epic fail until they start using Xscale again.
i agree with what dude said about no xda, ur gonna miss it!
i mean its a windows ppc, the mod possibilites are endless, IMO
the n95 is sweet to look at, and the functions are awesome, plus the camera is f'n nasty!
but ur really considering leaving HTC ?
why get a divorce so soon?
no u misunderstand im not selling my tytn 2, i love htc devices. besides i use internet sharing something you dont get on nokias. i think.
ill prob switch tween kaiser and my upgrade as ive got 8 gb in kaiser
As far a what your needs are there are a lot of differences between the n95 and XDA, so you have to ask yourself what do I need from a mobile device.
I am in a similar situation, I am approaching the end of my contract and looking at upgrading from my SE k800i to the kaiser. I am however going to wait gor the touch pro to come out and see what that has to offer,
perhaps that is an option for you?
Marc
I wouldn't consider any of the 2 mentioned phones. If I was to change my Kaiser, it would be for the same category, say the upcoming Touch Pro. I want the keyboard and MicroSD slot.
First of all, why the rush to upgrade, it's not like your using a Razr. Have you seen the upcoming 2009 devices? Check out Nvidia's integrated Htc Apx device for one. Thanks to the Iphone, company's are gonna start to roll out some serious hardware evolutions next year, I'd hold on if I were you http://www.nvidia.com/object/apx_2500.html
You make it seem like money's an issue with him. he got the kaiser in January, and is looking for a new toy in july...by the time he is bored again, it'll be 2009 Q1 tech, and then q3 2009 tech.
actually its is. these are free upgrades thats why i cant just get the touch pro on o2
Personally I wouldn't bother with either, okay it's a free upgrade either way but why waste it, and not be able to upgrade to something decent a few months down the line?
The N95 is quite old now, and (in my eyes) a pretty horrible piece of work. I can't stand the S60 interface, I'm not bothered about the camera (which is still only a phone camera after all), there's no way I'd choose it over my kaiser (and yes I know you're not losing the kaiser, but you can still only carry one phone at once, at least if you're sensible).
The Touch Diamond, by all accounts, isn't finished yet. It doesn't really work the way it should, the battery life makes the kaiser look good, and it's just going to frustrate you.
My advice - just wait. Take up the offer of an upgrade when there's something you actually, definitely want out there.
Being a user of HTC touch that just died... :-( I am looking for my next Phone.
I have 24 hours to decide if I shall buy the Diamond or not. You are the best people to suggest as you are the current users...
I had a look at the diamond Pro but just too large and heavy for my needs
Your Suggestions will be highly apreciated. Also If you can recommend a good trusted online supplier in Europe that would be great too!!!
George the Greek
well if you liked Touch....you will definitely love Diamond (if u don't need hardware keyboard )
if u can afford it, get a Touch HD
If Touch Pro is too big for you, Touch HD is even bigger.
When it comes to size, you can't go worng with Touch Diamond. It is the size of a pager. I have bought a slim case for Diamond that I can wear on my belt. Loving it.
get a diamond

I bought the diamond 2 days ago...
If you want to install tools and go online with it... forget it! it's really slow!!
I prefer my old N81... much better!
And Windows Mobile... slow slow slow and windows-like (had to make 2 hard resets so far)
I'm thinking to give it bake and buy a N96...
not possible... with a light & recent rom you can reach the same performance as an iphone (I have a fellow with it)
for the navigation speed, if you go online only with umts, you have to increase some parameters in your registry, because they have a middle level values to work also with gprs connections
I saw the n96 the past weekend in a shop, I played a bit... very annoying, with a windows mobile even if it isn't perfect possibilities are undefined
Anymore feedback....??
Sounds like a 50 % Yes and 50% No so far... :-(
baisically, You do want to get a Diamond, as long as you dont ming playing with it to get it setup right.
If you havent had a windows mobile phone before, you wont notice the difference, its only people that have had a more baisic windows mobile phone before, with less feastures/graphics that say it is slow. because, comparatively it is.
Buy one, stick with standard for a while, then Flash a new ROM radio once you know your way around it and are comfortable with Hard SPL etc.
Thanks mugglesquop! I am pretty confident with upgrading Roms, SPLS etc ... you see being an owner of HTC touch had to do plenty of these upgrades
thanks once more.
WOuld you reccomend any decent europena online shop at good prices?
Handtec are pretty good, thats where i got mine.
I even managed to return it after it developed some problems...
these things do require work to get the best out of them but once that's done, boy do they shine . i have had mine for just over a month and am still on a stock ROM but i have tweaked it so much and can't stop touching it .
Best phone i ever had.
I bought htc and I sold it after a week, i thought that is slow etc etc, when i checked another pones didn't liked none of them so i decided to buy again HTC Diamond, when u get familiar with it after a month nobody will change it with any another phon just to remember you should not install to many applications because than will work slow like windows xp or similar.
regards
usually, as long as you install to Internal Storage (as opposed to memory) and you remember to properly shut programs (not minimise), you can have loads installed, i have! still runs very quick.
The device can do nearly anything you wish (as you are aware) and is nice and compact...you can even carry it in a shirt pocket
Of course you have to update your ROM (which you said you can and will do...) which is a must
However,...there is a cost of course to having such a light-weight device...power!!
If your prepared tocharge your device on a daily basis your good to go! You will also find the GPS frustrating...it works, but quite often you have put it in a circle of candles and pray for connections
All in all, I would recommend purchase.....however I'm looking forward to the "NEW" Diamond II when its dreamt up.....you know.... bug free
never had a problem with GPS...
hi guys...
i've been using the himalaya for almost 4years now (bought it brand new for about $750), and last month i got myself a mint Alpine in my hand for about $90
after almost a week sneaking some time in the office to browse the forum, i realized that i can't put WM5/6 in my alpine
too bad, alpine's way better than himalaya (wifi, better bluetooth compatibility, better camera, better stability)
but i'm in a middle of a crossroad here, one of the must go (it would look ridiculous for me to carry 2 XDAs anywhere)
should i choose.......what? can't decide
any "illuminati" from anyone?
(well, to be honest i also had been saving money to buy a decent XDA FLame...cost about $450 2nd mint condition)
hmmm.....
no supportive reply yet?
how sad...

Wm2003 is still cool!
Old is gold
If you got a decent backup then 2003 doesn't matter, apart from mail function, but please do check the internal batteries of both the xda devices because my 6.1 himalaya resets after every 2-3 hours and date and time are set to 2005 something but apart from that everything is fine.So do check - compare the hardware.Cheers.
I also have an alpine and a himalaya ...and of course i prefer Alpine. But wm2003 are a bit annoying....i really like wm6 threaded sms :/
thanks for the reply...
really appreciated
@nicktgr15:
yup...too bad alpine can't be upgraded to WM
@kalya:
feel sorry for your problem, but mine's still good.
it's just that the himalaya's battery is dropping (50% and it's dead)
gotta put the 'ol battery out from its misery...
@ShadowswordPL:
couldn't agree more!
...so there's absolutely NO WAY an Alpine used WM6? Oh well....
the reason i want WM6 is that i want to try PointUI, they got their new version for WM6
my friend, who got a cooked Himalaya w/WM6, use it and it looked awesome.

You can use pointui 1.02 on Alpine. The animation is better than the pointui 2.
for threaded sms you can use VITO SMS chat. and so on.
I have my diamond for almost a year now at first I bought a European diamond that does not work on the 3g network in my country (Colombia) then y had the chance to change it for the us version that support this network and with the help of all of you in xda developers I think that my phone is like a dream.
But in a Spanish forum that I also read (http://www.laneros.com/showthread.php?p=2690580#post2690580) the people say that the diamond is a piece of crap compared to the Samsung omnia or even the htc cruise.
It refer to the gps lag the all we know and is related to the qualcomm cpu. And the ram that is only 192mb that shares 64 mb with the 3d driver so left less that the ram that could have an older phone, and with the TF3D, the phone is too slow…
What do you think is the omnia much better phone that our diamond.
I read that because the screen with 4 times more resolution the diamond makes 4 x more operations or some thing la that. What do you think? I would like to answer this other forum but I have no technical information to contradict his theory.
I think all that matters is if you like it.

i like it
Dont no if diamond is the best phone, but i just love it. Love the small size and I have everything I want in a phone in my shirt pocket, so from that point of view i love it (dont want huge brick in my pocket).
Must ask how you can have used your diamond for a year? didnt diamond came out in June/2008?
My Diamond isnt so slow with the new 2.03 rom. Htc has atleast tried to improve it, that you cant say with Cruise= very nice phone too but when it came out it had a old wm6 rom and from my point of view the wm6.1 update came too late..But im very interested in omnia too but I think i wait for the next version with the better screen, should be released later this year or I wait for the phone that should replace diamond, that can be a good one.
Hope htc learn a lession with Diamond and dont release a phone too soon, which was the case with Diamond. For now im satisfide with diamond and its a good phone
it is a diamond
Test with 2.03
Hi,
I update to 2.03 my mobile from tre.se with some "hacks" because swedish phone.

one of my mates has an omnia and he always asking to play with my diamond, so i cant be that much better lol
2.03
Hi,
My Diamond is quicker now with 2.03.
If you think that your diamond is to slow try 2.03
omnia : bigger storage , yes . louder sound , yes .better camera and flash , yes . much better battery life , yes .
but when i decided to choose between omnia and diamond , i hold them both in my hands and bought diamond although they both cost the same in that time (now diamond costs more in my country.libya)
so why i chose diamond , i don't know but loved it more
The Diamond is slow, has rubbish camera, no memory card slot, laggy GPS, sloppy music playback and terrible battery life. It's the best freckin' phone I've owned I just love it, with all the great work that everyone does on XDA developers, it's like the phone is constantly evolving. The Diamond I'm using today is nothing like the Diamond that was delivered to me, sure sometimes it makes me mad as hell but then it does make me smile. With every other phone I've owned I was always waiting for the next new model or version, with my Diamond I just wait to see what else it can do

I love how you turned it around regarding your comment here xavierdemon....Yes it does have it's faults but you couldn't have said it better, XDA developers create the essence of why we all truly believe that, "Diamonds are Forever"
At first, my battery seemed crap and the Rom to be luggish but after being exposed to this great community, the Diamond truly shines !!
Disclaimer
Hey it's all about being positive as well. No phone is perfect
xavierdemons post nails it.
isn't it the community around here, that is mostly responsible for the joy with our diamonds? i sure wouldn't have cooked rom of my like (how nice, you can choose of many!), registry-tweaks found by xda-devs, all those tipps and tricks that sum up to MY diamond which is like no other (iphones appear to me like clones - roger roger)...
it's not just the capabilities of pure hardware that make some of those devices kinda special... there were other mp3 players before the ipod, and hardware-wise htc has much more to offer than the iphone. (kinda lame i have to use apple stuff to phrase what i mean ^^)
