Problem with GPS after update

Hi All,
small problem ...... After udate of official ROM withour spl I cant get my gps to work.
Can someone tell me what I need to do to chech the gps is enabled? TOM TOM says no GPS Device...
ROM VERSION : 3.00.707.18
ROM DATE: 07/24/07
Radio Version: 1.16.00.00
Protocol version: 32.53.7018.01H

You need to upadte your radio rom to.
Version 1.16.00 does not have GPS enabled.
Update to version 1.38.00 or higher.

You will find your answer - this one has been discussed so many times.
Specifically 1.38.00.11, 1.41.00.11, 1.46.00.11, 1.46.30.11 are all IMHO good radio ROMs that support GPS. There are Radio versions 1.29 which support GPS - the most important thing being that the Radio version number ends with a 1.

I think you may need to change the comm port of the GPS to com9

Trinity Radio Problem..

Hi,
Currently i have WM6 Schap's 4.30 ROM with Radio 1.46.30.11 and Protocol 32.79.7020.19H. Could you please tell me which is the latest radio version... Beacause when i have a voice call over 3g its constantly loosing connection.

It depends on your country, your gsm provider, your rom, etc...
Latest is 1.50.08.11

Best radio for HTC P3600, Norway, NetCom

Hi,
How can I find out what is the best radio for use in Norway, with NetCom as provider?
CE OS 5.2.1948 (Build 18548.0.7.2)
3G seems very unstable, also with the original ROM (RUU_Trinity_HTC_NOR_1.23.409.2_103_6275_1.38.00.11_108_Ship.zip).

Finally I hear guys having the same problem as I do.
A few days back I posted a question regarding this problem with 3G connectivity, seems like in every rom and radio version I tried its the same problem. My device runs OK only when I use Official WM5 rom with radio 1.38.00.11. it does not work with any other rom even if I install 1.38.00.11 radio version.
Can anyone help me finding the correct rom/radio for my device:
Location - Israel
gsm provider - Orange
rom - ADW,FInixNOver ...

There are only 4 versions of the radios...
1.38.00.11
1.46.00.11
1.46.30.11
1.50.08.11
You should try them...test them for a few days, and you will find out which one is the best for you

Trinity protocol version

Original protocol version of my P3600 was 35.52.7020.00H.
I have upgraded rom and radio and now the protocol version is 32.83.7020.20H, that seems less recent than the original one.
How does the protocol version affect device performances?
Does Ver. 32.83.7020.20H perform worse than ver. 35.52.7020.00H?
In tha case how can I revert to ver. 35.52.7020.00H ?

I have first installed Olipro SPL 1.20 and then I have upgraded radio from original 1.20.00.11 to 1.46.30.11.

1- Yesterday I Lost My Sim Services (No Signal)

In order to coax someone into helping you they are going to need to know some thngs:
1. What ROM DID you have?
2. what radio DID you have?
3. Was it working fine before you tinkered with it?
4. what did you change to for a ROM?
5. what did you change to for a radio?
You indicate yesterday you "lost" stuff. and today you have no sound.
You THEN indicate that you changed your ROM and RADIO.
Did you have the losses and THEN changed the ROM and RADIO? Or was it working fine and you changed ROM and RADIO and THEN it went toes up???
Most likely I will not be able to help you - BUT - I am pretty sure that without the above information in your thread you will not be able to get any help.

This is your ROM now? or the one that you HAD?
Did your pbroblems occur and THEN you changed ROMs? or was everything fine and you changed roms and THEN had the problems?
You are going to have to answer the questions asked or you probably are not going to get any bite on YOUR questions.

How can i update Radio Version???

Questions to those China users. Can you guys opal displays Chinese character. If yes, can I know what you are using and what are the necessary applications for the opal to display Chinese Character.
My original Opal ROM was initially able to display Chinese character, but after flashing to Jagan's ROM, the Opal now is unable to displays Chinese character.
