Hiya everybody,
Im new here and joining the HTC Touch Diamond wagon real soon just learning the odd bits here and there. Anyways, I have a question from a friend. He wants to know is it possible when sending a text message, to STOP a copy being saved?
Maybe a registry tweak to turn off the savng?
Sorry as I said i am new and I HAVE tried searching with no avail.

Hi all, I've got a strange problem with my Kaiser... whenever I open an email or text the scrollbar sets itself to be halfway through the message and I have to scoll back up to get to the start of the message.
Not sure if it's related to Kaiser Tweak 'cause I rebuilt the phone last night and it was all working until I selected what I usually select via that utility.
After google searching I found this, but with no answer..

Cheers, Rich

Spot on - thanks for the reply. I did do a search first, just couldn't find anything. Sorry.
hello i have the new windows 6.1 and the i cant set my ringtones with my receiving the text messages so what do i do also in the 6.0 i was able to see the amount of fwds in the text messages and now that option is gone
Hello and welcome to XDA. I am not tyring to be a jerk or anything when I say this I promise but have you tried using the search function?
Also I would guess that this should be in general not software.
actually not really cuz i know i may need software to enable this or maybe an admin might move it 4 me
I've had my Kaiser (tilt blah) for about 3 months now, and most of my issues I've solved off this forum through .cab downloads, or just becoming unretarted, but I have some questions about the default text program that I havent been able to answer myself... Everytime you send a message, you get a "message sent" notification that interrupts pretty much everything you're doing after your message. Is there a way to turn it off? Maybe just have a sound confirming it was sent? The other thing is sometimes when I text, the text input box at the bottom of the screen doesn't scroll with the words, making it impossible to see what you're typing or if you made any mistakes. Is it my phone? Or has someone created a patch so fix such things? (both). And that guy that said WM for this phone sucks it a waste of life. This is the best OS for a phone. Just may ned some encouragement from time to time, but It doesnt suck.

Hi all,
I have a very annoying quirk with the way the Touch Pro sends a reply to an email. When you type an email and space down to start a new paragraph on a new line it looks fine when you type it but when you send it it pulls all the spaces out of the email making the entire thing one big paragraph. My Jasjam does not do this and I am wondering if anyone has a solution.
The strange thing is that it only does it on replies. If i start a fresh email it will actually send it maintaining the same structure I typed it in. Its the same thing regardless of whether i use the original shipped or cooked 6.1 or 6.5 roms.
Anyones help or ideas would be most welcome. Thanks.
Has nobody noticed this issue? or is it not so annoying?
It happens on all of your devices I would expect as I have seen a couple of devices do it. Its possibly a reg tweak somewhere that could fix it.
I have this problem too and it is annoying, but if you click on Edit sender's message while composing it'll send the whole message in plain text, including your line breaks. You'll lose any HTML formatting in the original message.
Many thanks for the tip. I just tried it and it worked fine. It would be good if MS or HTC or someone really clever here could find a system fix for it.
Thanks again for your help.
No problem. I've no idea why it does that, I had to mess around with it for a while and accidently found that workaround. My Hermes and Kaiser didn't have this problem.
I swear I saw yesterday or the day before someone asking if you can change the amount of time you view a text in touchflo until it shows it is not a new message anymore but I can't find it for the life of me. I am a quick reader and find myself flipping thru texts when I have a couple new ones and find myself looking for the new message I already read to get rid of the number of new texts in the touchflo taskbar. Anybody know a registry edit?
If you find this let us know, I would also be interested in this.
I definitely will. I have been trying to look around at the Manila files and no luck yet. Anybody?
I would love to see a solution here too. It would seem like a simple registry tweak.
I know it is for me and at least a couple people. But it is an odd request so I doubt anyone will even answer. Somebody please!!!
