Reset talk time? - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

Does anyone know how to reset the talk time on the diamond?

Have you tried on Home tab (under clock) Call History - "menu" (or whatever is there in english - right bottom) - Call timers, and there is just one button to press...if you think this...

Do you guys know a better way to reset this counter?

Can function of Green Phone button be assigned to another?

Hi all,
i'm having intermitent issues with my Green Phone button not responding when pressed. As such, i would like to reassign this function to another hardware button such as the default PiE button.
However, i discover that the "Phone" function listed for assignment on the Buttons setting does not accept calls as the Green Phone button does when a call comes in! In fact, i can't accept calls by using any buttons & have to open my case to press the onscreen "answer". Any registry tweaks to rectify this?
Thanks!
Anyone with update?
Cheers,
You'll probably have to tweak the registry - I know may be possible - as I am using phoneplus III and the green button when clicked - starts up Phoneplus and not the internal Phone dialpad.
In the phoneplus setup - it says "Assign Phoneplus to Green/Send Button" and also "Assign Red Button to Close PhonePlus and End Calls"
So if anyone with experience on registry details - should be able to help you out.

OK after trying to install SCLPF cube and not liking to much i uninstalled it the way his instruction said. What i get now and this was preset with cube installed is after a soft reset i can hit the start menu 3 times but on the 4th time my menu has a white background and show windows live and live search about 10 times before programs and setting.
Help? if u need more info let me know.
what does a hard reset do and how do i do it?
Hard resets are covered on the FIRST PAGE of the wiki.
Hard reset puts the device back to how you had it when you bought it ( or installed a fresh rom ) it will wipe ALL settings youve made and put it to factory.
To perform this,
Press the 2 softkeys ( above the IE symbol and above the Mail symbol ) while pressing the soft reset button on the bottom. When it prompts you on screen, press the green talk button 2 times.

MS Voice Command on Diamond

Ok, I must be having a brain fart today as I can't find the info I need after multiple searches. I have MSVC installed on my Diamond and it's the latest version (1.6.19214) that I'm aware of. It works perfectly so far and I can activate it with no issues using my Motorola T505 when connected with Bluetooth.
What I cannot do is activate MSVC directly on the phone. There are no buttons available to assign for it in the button settings. Does anyone have a simple and complete set of instructions of how to assign a button of some sort on the Diamond to activate MSVC? Much appreciated and thanks!
James
Go to
settings - Buttons - Button 1 Hold can be reassigned if its the same as the touch pro.
That's the issue I'm having, there is nothing listed in the buttons settings to assign or to re-asign. The window is blank and I can't see any way to add a button into the window to assign. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Hi ,
My solution was to re-assing the "Phone" screen buton on TF3D to Voice command :
From Diamnod Tweaks list :
31. Remap Manila softkeys:
HKLM/Software/HTC/manila/
HomeLSKPath, which is the left softkey (Standard = Phonepad)
And
HomeRSKPath, which is the right softkey.
If you change these with the location of the programs you want to link to, and simultaneous change the names:
HomeLSKText = Left softkey text
And
HomeRSKText = Right softkey text.
Thanks, I'll have a look at that one. I thought there was a way though to remap a "long press" on the talk button or some such to activate voice command? Cheers!

joudbren,
interesting, I am just about the ask the same question as I just got my motorola t505 yesterday.
My other question is, when I first pair with motorola t505, I could get voice confirmation , then I say yes to make the call. Now I don't get voice confirmation at all, if I yes, it will make the call, if I say no it will not make the call.
I am wondering how can I get the voice confirmation back
Did you ever find a way to do this? I have MSVC running as a program but cannot assign it to a key.

Click to collapse
Apart the solution above , I use Gscroll by tapping twice on the center wheel. It's working on 90% of the time.

Unlock the phone without left soft key

Hi all,
My softkeys don't work long time ago so I have found solutions to:
- Use the multimedia player: You can remap the buttons like play, next...
- I have redesigned home screen to put the sms on the top.
- Use the red button to lock the phone
- Use the power button to change the sound profiles.
But I don't know how to unlock the phone using another keys instead the left softkey. Anybody know how to do this?
Best regards,

Q: Home button answer on ICS

There are many ICS version. They all lack function "Answer call with home button ". I live in Finland and here is about -20 Degree celcius. I want to answer with home button, How can i do it? How to enable this function?
Need one too
I don't really live in a place that cold but would like to have the 'home key to answer calls' functionality.
Has anyone found a way?
I remember there was a app to answer calls without press Home Key
just put the phone near your ear and call will be connected.
I don't remember app's name but i think "Quick Answer" will do it too.
or use "ShakeCall" with shaking phone to answer.
