What todo next?

I took the shipping rom from the FTP, replaced the radio rom, and upgraded, then I ran the BT3900.cab on the phone..
So now I got:
Rom 1.22.00WWE
Radio 1.08.00
ExtRom 1.22.557 WWE
BT 1.0.0.3900
Anything else I can do? or MUST do?
What else can you recommend to install?
I got TomTom3 on it too..
I hope that the radio/bt upgrade is working better with my SonyEricsson HBH30 and the BT GPS..

Well the biggest bug is in the BT.
Im testing Radio 1.08.00 with BT .3900 and it is the best i've tried until now. You can get on the Wiki and start reading about what to do and not. Your current settings looks fine, asuming it's a Dangaard sold device.
The ROM numbers is not always better just because they are higher!!

Did someone some test with the operator Bouygues Telecom ? The previous ROM (1.46...) can't be used with this operator.

The readme.txt says:

There is no upgrade ROM included, but any .NBH file will work; although flashing a foreign NBH will work, it
is a far better idea to extract the contents with NBHextract and then rebuild it with NBHGen
Both NBHextract and NBHGen are called from the command prompt although eventually I will get round to coding a UI for them.
Please remember that the correct ExtROM address is 900 and not 700 for the Trinity (default, but don't mix with Hermes)!
NBHGen and NBHExtract can be found in their respective folders of this RAR file.
NB: I don't own a Trinity but this should work fine, of course, if it doesn't... your problem

Yes, it works for me with Bepe ROM.

It works also with th enice Faman 3.3.
But i do not find it faster for the GPS than before but the test I did is not very good to make a comparaison.

I am running it with bepe's rom as well. It took ages to flash.
GPS: works fine.
Phone: I don't know as I need to put my sim card back in
Wifi: cannot connect anymore to my access point (WPA2-PSK). Tried downgrading to WPA-PSK: same problem. Checked MAC address, no change.

Nope. Not even one problem here. Works great with Indigo_full. And GPS is faster, I'm sure about that.

Using CommManager, WiFi won't start... (using schen 10 buttons kaiser commManager 3G)
Using WiFi control from BatteryStatus, WiFi start without problem, and connection to my AP is quite immediate. Signal strenght seems to be increased, but max 10%...no more...
Regarding the GPS, seems equal to previous radio 1.46.30.11, don't see any difference.
BUT...
For the phone itself, I always had a signal strenght at 74% (batterystatus) when @home... With this new radio, I have 100%...
Will test BT tomorrow, I'm already naked, and don't want to go outside in underwear to test BT into my car

My experience: first GPS fix with this radio ROM is faster (~ 60 sec) then ROM 1.46.00.11 (~120 sec).

Working pretty well for me. I haven't had any issues yet, but I only installed it this morning.

This is exactly what I used to upgrade my G4. You need to be aware what version your phone is though, because I doctored my installation to fit a G4. And, as always, update at your own risk.

I uploaded my doctored on for my g4. it's working perfectly. This was a last stop for me, if this didn't work, I was going to go back to 2.19

Just Upgraded my Cell, will see and report if there r any problems with this Radio ROM.
Update(2/19/09): The file on the link provided by "henrythrower" (on Page#1) works f9 with G3 devices. i tested the Radio ROM and results are below.

This radio rom is way much better than my previous tests of 2.61, 2.69, 2.71...
On my Cingular 8125, the best by far would be 2.25.11 (stock), but now it's seems I have
much better reception than 2.71.11 or the recommended 2.69.11...
Will be sticking with this radio for a little while, battery drain seems same as 2.25.11 (stock)
Further updates will be sent...
BTW, I'm in Philippines (Asia) with SMART network...

after 4 days of use had to revert back to the stock 2.25.11 radio rom...
had full bar signal indicators but somehow there are some people that keeps telling
me they had a hard time calling me...

I had no problems like this!!
UPDATE 2/25/09: He is right, i had to switch back to my old RADIO ROM 2.37.11 because i was missing calls, my phone was on and infront of me my DAD called me and it said "Phone is Powered Off!"

i think for Cingular 8125... arguably the most compatible would still be 2.25.11...
i got same issues with 2.69, 2.70 radio roms... don't know if it's because I'm in Asia (Philippines) or whatever, but i'm quite satisfied with 2.25 anyways...

10 days it works good for me, i have the best quality of sound

Cingular 8125 here on At&t USA, works great, much better and doesn't search for signal very often unlike my old (stock) radio-Cheers

trinity tomtom rom

i just had to flash the phone with diffirent rom before that spvm700 workiing fine with tomtom n gps. after flash tomtom was saying no gps and the i tried to flash some diffiret radios but still there was a problem. but now after flashe wwe official htc rom there's no tomtom software i'm really stuck dont know what to do plz help right now this is what i have

I think your rom is the old one with no gps. I would flash hard spl on your phone and upgrade with a gps enabled rom. As for your TomTom have you got the data on your sd card? Because you will need to reinstall to your phone again after rom flash.

Come on, this forum is "staffed" by volunteers, and it's a weekend. So expecting a reply in less than an hour and a half is a wee bit optimistic.
As for a ROM that does GPS i think you will find most of the new ones do work with TomTom. i am currently using chanvi93's Ultralite WM6.1 ROM and my TomTom works just fine.
Looking at your Device Info, my Radio is the same.

What does TomTom say:
No GPS device
Waiting for a valid GPS signal
If 1 then it's not seeing the GPS itself, if 2 then patience is the order of the day.
You might like to do a search and install GPSTest, this will scan all COM ports and then connect to your GPS chip and then tell you what settings it is using. Also i have had mixed results using Q-GPS to speed up the time taken to get a fix.
FYI, mine is on COM9, 9600 baud, using "Built-in GS receiver"

it says waiting for valid gps and then if i go out for may be 5 to 10 mins still waitin fo valid gps flashed the lates radio as well 1.46 but no luck.

Have you tried GPS Test just to make sure that it is even seeing the GPS chip? I have known mine take a good 5 minutes to get a fix, and its worse sometimes if i dont stay still, am surrounded by buildings.

I'm in Peru. I have an Kaiser with WM6.1 originally working with Movistar España. I use Claro Peru, so I used Olipro's KaiserUnlocker.exe to unlock it, and it seemed to succeed. If I try my Claro SIM I don't get that "MM6" error anymore but I just can't get the phone service working. It's always without signal ("Fuera de cobertura"). The phone will show at least the most common networks (Movistar and Claro) but it says it can't register. I've even tried a Movistar SIM and nothing. I've tried different radio versions and also read some other solutions here but still the same. Sorry if this has been solved before but would you help me please?
My current settings:

no problem , you try hard reset the device and after that reflash with official Rom for kaiser......... hopefully this time you succeed

I think your problem relies that your phone is still sim lock to movistar españa or have been imei lock. You need to sim unlock your device. Eventhough you have a movistar sim card from peru will not work in your phone.

Thanks for all your advice, but I'm still stuck. I flashed the original HTC WM6.0 Spanish ROM to start again. Run Oli's KaiserUnlock.exe (the other three step method never worked for me), upgraded to WM6.1, installed SLP-3.29.Hard, installed SJ ConnectionSetup 1_5_35353_bs.cab, and finally tried some radios, all of them without success.
Current status:

(I used to see a "Security Unlocked" bar there, but now it's gone)

Agains all odds, the solution was to lock it again. As soon as I ran the SIM-Lock.exe to start from scratch, the phone registered my SIM and now I have signal. No 3G yet, but that was a great improvement. Any advice?

Hello all,
maybe my problem is related, but the solution will probably differ.
After some time struggling with signal problems, one guy at HTC support line told me, precisely one year ago, it's due to a difference between my Kaiser's programmed frequencies (USA model) and the ones used in my country (Brazil). It's about 50MHz in most bands, but enough to make the device go nuts when auto-searching.
I may have tried about 20 radios, 3 unlocking procedures, dozens of original and cooked ROMs and am now on Android (for the sake of interface responsiveness only), and never got it actually solved. The only workaround is to disable 3G, and that works with only one provider and in some areas only.
All of this brings two questions:
1) is there any way of customarily changing the embedded base frequencies in the device (e.g. with MTTy or something)?
2) does anyone have an original, 100% working brazilian Kaiser from which we could extract the radio to see if it solves the issues?
From all I searched in the last two years (since I bought this lovely thing), it's an impressively common issue. Thank you for any input.

Model: KAIS100 (no front camera)
Current radio: 1.65.24 (Neon/Niki)

Coincidently, a few hours after the last message, I finally found a pt-br ROM which shouldn't have a radio (sorry, lost the link, but search for RUU_Kaiser_HTC_WWE_PTBR_1.88.514.1_PTB_Shipped.rar ) and 3G suddenly came to life, even with HS*PA and stuff perfecly, except... no sound/camera, only bluetooth/wifi. At that moment, Radio was 1.65.anything (21, I guess). So I decided to take it again from the very start, here's what I did:
Downgraded HardSPL (From 3.56 to 3.34);
"New" radio 1.70.19.09 (before: 1.65 and before that, 1.71.09);
"New" ROM Stylez black v5 - rather old, but it just *works* (even though I miss TPC Elite).
A little more fiddling with dand settings and voilà I'm *finally* done. And never had a GPS so fast and reliable - nor so little battery life, but oh well... ¬¬
Thanks go out to Stylez for a very nice ROM, tpc for another good series, and Algus Helm which unknowingly pointed me to a solution from just the sig - and so I'm updating mine too.

But this rom is not PT-BR and I think the biggest problem here in Brazil, is why for the Kaiser, the HTC does not pass the codes to unlock, and most of us, it comes from other countries. I'm having the same problem, since flashes thousands of radios and can not find the networks, to my memory card is no longer being recognized ... if anyone can help, thank you
Mas essa rom não eh pt-br a do stylez e acho q o grande problema q temos, aqui no brasil, é pq para o kaiser, a htc não repassa os codigos de desbloqueio, e a maioria dos nossos, vem de outros países. Eu estou com o mesmo problema, ja flashei milhares de radios e não consigo encontrar as redes, até meu cartão de memória não está mais sendo reconhecido... se alguém puder ajudar, agradeço
