I'm in Peru. I have an Kaiser with WM6.1 originally working with Movistar España. I use Claro Peru, so I used Olipro's KaiserUnlocker.exe to unlock it, and it seemed to succeed. If I try my Claro SIM I don't get that "MM6" error anymore but I just can't get the phone service working. It's always without signal ("Fuera de cobertura"). The phone will show at least the most common networks (Movistar and Claro) but it says it can't register. I've even tried a Movistar SIM and nothing. I've tried different radio versions and also read some other solutions here but still the same. Sorry if this has been solved before but would you help me please?
My current settings:
R 1.71.09.01
G 25.75.40.02.eMo
D 3.29.00.00
This is what I get in Bootloader mode:

no problem , you try hard reset the device and after that reflash with official Rom for kaiser......... hopefully this time you succeed
my knowledge , there are 3 versions for the kaiser radio that can work in WM6.1

I think your problem relies that your phone is still sim lock to movistar españa or have been imei lock. You need to sim unlock your device. Eventhough you have a movistar sim card from peru will not work in your phone.

There are many threads that showed some solutions to this common problem, have you searched already? Tried some solutions yet?.

Thanks for all your advice, but I'm still stuck. I flashed the original HTC WM6.0 Spanish ROM to start again. Run Oli's KaiserUnlock.exe (the other three step method never worked for me), upgraded to WM6.1, installed SLP-3.29.Hard, installed SJ ConnectionSetup 1_5_35353_bs.cab, and finally tried some radios, all of them without success.
Current status:

(I used to see a "Security Unlocked" bar there, but now it's gone)

Agains all odds, the solution was to lock it again. As soon as I ran the SIM-Lock.exe to start from scratch, the phone registered my SIM and now I have signal. No 3G yet, but that was a great improvement. Any advice?

you have to tweak the registry to fix the problem 3g

Hello all,
maybe my problem is related, but the solution will probably differ.
After some time struggling with signal problems, one guy at HTC support line told me, precisely one year ago, it's due to a difference between my Kaiser's programmed frequencies (USA model) and the ones used in my country (Brazil). It's about 50MHz in most bands, but enough to make the device go nuts when auto-searching.
I may have tried about 20 radios, 3 unlocking procedures, dozens of original and cooked ROMs and am now on Android (for the sake of interface responsiveness only), and never got it actually solved. The only workaround is to disable 3G, and that works with only one provider and in some areas only.
All of this brings two questions:
1) is there any way of customarily changing the embedded base frequencies in the device (e.g. with MTTy or something)?
2) does anyone have an original, 100% working brazilian Kaiser from which we could extract the radio to see if it solves the issues?
From all I searched in the last two years (since I bought this lovely thing), it's an impressively common issue. Thank you for any input.

Coincidently, a few hours after the last message, I finally found a pt-br ROM which shouldn't have a radio (sorry, lost the link, but search for RUU_Kaiser_HTC_WWE_PTBR_1.88.514.1_PTB_Shipped.rar ) and 3G suddenly came to life, even with HS*PA and stuff perfecly, except... no sound/camera, only bluetooth/wifi. At that moment, Radio was 1.65.anything (21, I guess). So I decided to take it again from the very start, here's what I did:
Downgraded HardSPL (From 3.56 to 3.34);
"New" radio 1.70.19.09 (before: 1.65 and before that, 1.71.09);
"New" ROM Stylez black v5 - rather old, but it just *works* (even though I miss TPC Elite).
A little more fiddling with dand settings and voilà I'm *finally* done. And never had a GPS so fast and reliable - nor so little battery life, but oh well... ¬¬
Thanks go out to Stylez for a very nice ROM, tpc for another good series, and Algus Helm which unknowingly pointed me to a solution from just the sig - and so I'm updating mine too.

But this rom is not PT-BR and I think the biggest problem here in Brazil, is why for the Kaiser, the HTC does not pass the codes to unlock, and most of us, it comes from other countries. I'm having the same problem, since flashes thousands of radios and can not find the networks, to my memory card is no longer being recognized ... if anyone can help, thank you
Mas essa rom não eh pt-br a do stylez e acho q o grande problema q temos, aqui no brasil, é pq para o kaiser, a htc não repassa os codigos de desbloqueio, e a maioria dos nossos, vem de outros países. Eu estou com o mesmo problema, ja flashei milhares de radios e não consigo encontrar as redes, até meu cartão de memória não está mais sendo reconhecido... se alguém puder ajudar, agradeço

Simply download and install
Here it is the official Qtek aku2 Portuguese rom for the htc wizard.
Rom version is 2.18.7.2 PTG
You need to have your wizard cid unlock to install this rom unless your device was
Bought from Qtek Portugal.
Ignore the radio version on the picture it is a radio update that I have installed in my own device.
If you would like the i-mate splash screen let me know and I will post it here ready to install.
This rom is not modified in any way.i have left it on its original state so anyone can customize their own.
In addition, yes I know that this rom has been around for a while and some of you already have it but chose to no share with us. Thanks to MONTE CRISTO for getting the rom from Qtek and sending it to me.

Since I already installed the new AKU2 by i-mate, I can't seem to use the lokiwiz. Lokiwiz doesn't seem to work on AKU2 and I can't seem to find a way of downgrading my wizard...
Any help?

Why don't you use this file instead:
ftp://xda:[email protected]/Wizard/Roms/Wizard_RomUpgradeUtility_noID.rar
This way I wouldn't have to unlock the CID and it would always be possible to use an i-mate rom to get it cleaned and ready to send to i-mate in case of any warranty problem.
What did you change on the rom files to make it work? I get a file read error when using this upgradeutility_noID which possibly means that the file path is incorrect to the nbf file or something like that, I hope...

REALLY!!!!if it was that easy i would done it.
this way http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=47848&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 is the only way to do it, romupdatenoid does not work in certain environments like yours because the rom checks the bootloader thats why there is haked rom in the above link to bypass that.now if you want to know how to edit roms start searching this forum because im not going to write a 100 pages tutorial of to edit/hack roms ,so you can use my instrucions or pay to do it.
as for guaranty issues you can put the cid lock back in your device provided that you keep the backup that the lockwiz tool does when unlocking. Or make a full backup while your phone is in its original state. All the information is this forum.

And, may I say, don't assume there is only one way.
IMHO you should have said that your other post is a tutorial for the only way known now. The world is constantly changing.
One last thing, I didn't want a lesson on how to "hack" roms. Just wanted you to point out whether you'd used a pre-built software, changed only one file, joined two diferent rom files, etc, etc, as a way of trying to follow up on what you'd done and use it to try improving this noid rom update engine.
I'm not that worried about the warranty issue as I'd figured out I would have the abbility to get things back as they were using your method. I was just looking at a faster, cleaner and easier way of doing things.
I would like it to work with a no id rom update utility as other versions did and as other phones do, at least I think they do.
This forum started out to build up a knowledge base on these devices and that's the spirit I was folowing.

im not being sarcastic that was not the intencion.im sure there is other ways but... in fact i know that there is, posted 1 way in my last post,but noone came up with one as far as know and my friend,as you know we all have lives and litle free time and we do not get paid for our findings neither do i expect to be.i found a way of unlockig so a decided to share with everione,and it works ,so why would i do spend days finding another way to do the same job.and yes the world is changing but not the way to unlock the wizard with aku2 roms for free,so far.

Error upgrading to Portuguese ROM
I tried upgrading my ROM to 2006271651RUU_Prodigy_2180702_21807102_20710_QTEK_PTG_Ship.exe (from the myQtek.com site), but I got an error "Erro [294]: ID DE VENDEDOR INVÁLIDA". I already unlocked CID using the procedure described on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=263116, but still the error is the same. I now have IPL 1.01 and SPL 2.17 (G3 I presume?), OS 1.5.4.2

OK, sorry, I managed to correct the error, I've done it by using the tutorial on the link above but instead of using the "U: Unlock" option, used the "SuperCID" option. Thanks. Still wanted to know if 2006271651RUU_Prodigy_2180702_21807102_20710_QTEK_PTG_Ship.exe is the last/best ROM in portuguese though...
This is a patched radio ROM that can be used to remove the Operator SIM lock and CID lock from HTC Trinity based telephones.
It can be used in all HTC Trinity devices, no matter which bootloader version or radio bootloader version the device is running.

Unzip unlocker and run AUTO_Unlock_v1.bat
If you don't want to install automatically, or for some reason the process doesn't work for you, here are the manual instructions:
Transfer SSPL/SSPL-TRIN.exe to your phone and run it
Tri-color screen will appear
Disable activesync (file -> connection settings -> uncheck "allow USB connections")
Connect your phone to your computer using the USB lead.
Run RUU/ROMUpgradeUtility.exe
Follow the flashing process (Check the "I understand..." and "I completed..." boxes and update!)
Allow your phone to reboot.
Transfer TRIN_Unlock_v1.exe program to your phone and run it

When done, turn off your phone for 10 seconds and reboot after that.
Please Note: It is *highly recommended* to flash a full rom after using the unlocker.

Technically I don't kwow what imei-check commercial unlocker exactly does on Trinity, but the result should be the same with both unlockers.

Para emplear este "unlocker" tengo que decompactar el zip en my ordenador syncronisado con el P3600 y despues , el se cargar todo solo en el P3600 o tengo que poner el "unlocker" decompactado en el P3600.

No, once you check "cid unlock" it will be SuperCID forever. Don't check this option if you don't want to cid unlock.

You can't backup your radio rom, but you can flash another radio rom using SSPL after unlocking.

Unfortunatly my Trinity is in Portuguese, so there is no rom available to flash again, to put the phone in it's original state So, my idea is to unlock it and then restore the radio rom. But I can't see any radio rom available on the ftp server

Use ExtROM unlocker for Hermes (HermesMountAllROM.cab), it works on trinity also. Device must be SuperCID.

Use NBHExtract to extract GSM.nb from full rom, then use NBHgen to make NBH with radio only. Flash using SSPL-Trin.
User experiences using free unlocker
Has anybody else used this free unlocker? Did it worked well? Especially I would like to know if anybody has used it in north europe/nordic countries (I have bought my p3600 from Finland).

hmm, i wasn't trying this rom, but IMHO this rom will not containt multilanguage option. simply because it was not distributed through t-mobile sites all over the world in the same time.
remember this is just an option - and therefore it will be used only for devices that are widely sold all over the world, probably not for out charmers.

Hi, I´ve updated my MDAcII with this new ROM and nearly everything is going fine after installing all my progs (WA2, iL, PB, PW and so on). There also is a little speedup in booting. BUT there is a big problem (wich I and some other user have now), any kind of traffic monitoring isn´t working any more. Normaly I use Smart Phone GPRS Monitor, but it didn´t show any traffic. Also the Connectivity Bubble only shows "Connected". With the old ROM it shows the exact time of the Connection length.

I tried the rom out for a day and liked it quite frankly, but as my german isnt that good, decided to downgrade... cant wait for aWWE version to be released nonetheless

Hi Oszi, thanx but your hint is a little bit too near at the surface. I am not so good in editing the registry. So please, can you dig a little bit deeper.

even without your translation, I managed to change the registry entry (8<-->16)
Now the connection bubble shows the time of connection
BUT, the monitoring of datatraffic isn´t working :-(
Maybe you have another "registry tweak"?

i have a big problem with this ROM version...
I have a German MDA Vario shipped with Version 1.6 and wanted to upgrade to this ROM but it hangs at 80% and dies with error 302.
Upgrading to AKU 2 was going fine...
A friend of mine has the same model and upgraded successfully to AKU3.
But he is usind Activ Sync 4.5 and i use 4.2 could this be a problem?

ideally it shouldn't be a problem, but it would be advised to upgrade your version of active sync anyway and retry to flash your device.

Also, users probably have switched some Radios ever since!
I'm calling a re-vote on this one!
1.50.08.11 and 1.56.70.11 both work for me, but alas they switch me from 3G to EDGE and I cannot get 3G back...
I'm using 1.56.70.11 which seems to be nor better or worse than 1.50.08.11 but bigger version numbers always look good
I love pooling and big numbers too
1.56.70.11 is the fastest i can use in gps.
1.50.08.11 and so far it works fine...

power consuming
My htc flashed to bepe rom used to get stuck several times a day works fine but uses too much power even withn the phone switche off less than 24 h changed the accu seems to use the same power as if navigating are there programs to measure power consumption i switched off to gsm and hspda slightly better but still under 24 h

i'm using radio ROM 1.35.00.11 because i have a dual sim on my P3600, and when i have tried all the other radio, my phone was all the time changing by it self the active sim card.

Was using 1.48.10 because here in Canada 1.47.30 was dropping calls like crazy. Like seriously, my phone never rang. After trying a few roms I changed but now I will try 1.56.XX see how it goes. Will report later.
I'm using 1.50 now, someone tell me some reasons to go to 1.56 + tutorial (win vista), i haven't flashed my phone in ages and forgot how to do it. ^_^

Hi Guys,
Have just put my Touch Diamond (CDMA) handset on Reliance India but am unable to send sms. Currently, I am on 1.08 radio. On some suggestion i switched to Sprint 1.11 F.. radio. But it shows no service. Then I changed the ROM to MR4 but still shows no service.
So again re-loaded the same 1.08 radio and as usual voice works.
Am i going wrong somewhere, can experts on the forum provide suggestions.
