SMS viewer

The Treo750 viewing SMS messages can be done only in the classic manner that date, grouped by sender. What can be convenient because in this way can we know at any moment what messagge i received from a person rather than another without having to scroll through the entire list of messages in that folder.
There is software that makes this thing to install on a kaiser???

Block my number for text messages?

I was wondering if theres anyway I can block my number when sending a text message to someone? Much like blocking my number from coming up on caller id when I call someone? Is there anyway to do this so they get my text message but not my phone number? I have at&t service and a tilt(kaiser) if this matters all thanks.

Yes, there is.
Check the development area or search for the app.

I couldn't find anything with a basic search, but I wasn't aware of such a thing.
Anyway, I guess I was wrong then! Sorry!

i am doing this from my phone so i can't give u a link but it was called a class zero sms. try that search term.

i installed the cab....and it doesnt work....like, it doesnt send any message to the person's phone

There are a few ways to do it. I'm on my laptop (don't keep all that crap on it) but if you pm me to remind me I'll send you the file/link. There is also FlashSMS that will show the message as a system prompt & hence, will not save it either.

1911 Luver did it work for you. it did not block the # for me........

Ignore with SMS

Does anybody know of a program in which when you receive a call it gives you the option of ignoring them and sending a SMS instead?
I think Dutty had this option in one of his ROMs.
Also, there is an app that is called "Ignore with SMS" - but every download location I've found for it doesn't work.
Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you! This is exactly what I've spent hours looking for!

You can try photo contacts pro too. Although it's kinda heavy. It's got lots of features & large full screen caller id photos as well as sms tones & ringtone for groupd or individuals.

Thanks herg - I've been lingering and reading for a long time. There is much to learn from the archives of these forums.

I use smartblock it works great lets you keep black and whitelists.

Does anyone know any program I can use to lock or hide my text messages on my phone?
I only want to lock the messages, not the whole phone!
I can be Something simple just to type a pin number or something... and FREE!
I just want to protect my inbox, I dont care about the rest of the phone...
I tried searching here on the forum for the past 30min and I didnt find anything. Sorry if someone already asked this..

With Chompsms you can hide entire threads and blacklist certain names so they wont show up or get any notifications while your with whoever you don't want to know about the messages. The messages still show up in the stock messaging app though. LOL I found out about that the hard way.

Hello Tiger Woods. If you mean by not wanting someone else with your phone to read your SMS, just use lock pattern on your phone.

Yea i know but i dont wanna everytime unlock the patter when i want to check smth bcause i wery boring and very demotivating so i will have to use chompsms but its not quite good for me
