US 3G?? - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

Since a radio update now lets you use ATT. Is it possible they could have an update that would let you use 3g on any of the US carriers? Sorry if that is a stupid question I am new to this.

3G Expansion

Hey everyone, my parents just moved up to Anderson CA and I they only have Edge up there right now. Just wondering if anyone has any clue of plans for at&t expanding the 3g coverage? Its just frustrating for my mom since the move because she was so used to the perks of 3g/HSDPA down here in southern california.
Any info?????????????
Google will be more than happy to provide you with indexed results of news articles detailing AT&Ts expansion plans
Why don't you bug AT&T whom can actually do something about it? If you can, get a number of people to complain because at&t tends to ignore customer requests.

Who is bugging? Its a simple question, the reason I asked here instead of AT&T who really doesn't give a **** is the same reason I come here for new roms, radios, apps etc...etc... There seems to be a few people here that have information long before our service providers do. Do I need to go on?
I think he was saying your going to have to bug them.
at&t won't build out in areas it doesn't think has customers, so you have to bug them (lord knows how I've tried myself).
Otherwise, there's the 3G forum on the at&t forum on HowardForums where you can bug because some of the reps might be reading that.
Questions though?
Why the choice of this Forum catagory instaead of the General General Forum?
This really doesn't have anything to do with Kaisers.
i would just get a couple of your friends with att and try to call them and see if they can do something about it. when there is a lot of people calling they normally would act faster when developing new coverage. but dont expect it comming fast though

Calm down buddy! As suggested to you by other members, you can use the "search" function.
Apart from that, there is no definitive answer to your question and there are a lot of other people (including myself) who are looking for that answer. The experts are still trying to figure out if North American 3G can be enabled on the EU version or not. Hold your breath and keep browsing the forums for latest updates.
ok, thanks a lot for your answer, i will be looking around iin the forum
straight to the ROM development forum and you'll see it right away :\
I just bought the European version without knowing and I can't even get EDGE to work and I'm with AT&T. Do I need to upgrade anything for at least EDGE to work?
Nevermind I found the settings for EDGE. Hope theres a fix for the 3G.

Question?

i had a quick question, sorry if it has already been asked;
-does any one know what services works better with the original diamond(not the US 3g) in the US. i have options of either ATT and T-mobile.
-i'm basically interested in internet speed, and phone quality(either one).
-can someone enlighten me on this, please?

Is possible to have 3G at any USA provider?

maybe flash some radio?

Again, a quick search will reveal there are two Blackstones. T8282 which has 900/2100mhz bands, and T8285 which has 1900mhz. bands. So if you have a T8285 it will work for US AT&T.
Problem with my HD...PLEASE HELP
Recently, I flashed a new rom to my HD. It was working fine in the first few days. But now, I cannot make a call or receive a call but it shows I have full signal. I am using radio 1.09.25.14 PLEASE HELP! THANKS
This is stupid. This is why no one should respond to questions that a search could easily answer, all the crazies come out. Never should have responded. Can we close this thread?
Already been covered countless times in General Discussion forum (where this should have been opened in first place). No need to duplicate

[Q] enabling the 1700 AWS band for T-Mobiles

Sorry for a new thread as I was following a thread on this topic but I can't find it now. All I find now is a 2000 page thread where people are changing the radios with custom roms but I don't know if that enables the missing frequency for the few of us trying to use dev HTC One on T-mobile. Or if someone has achieved enabling the 1700 AWS band for T-Mobiles HSPA+ (4G).
If this is frequently asked feel free to delete and add to the FAQ thread. And thank you in advance.
Interested in this as well, and willing to be a guinea pig..
im interested as well, anyone h ave any headway on this?
