Switch to silent profile at headphones unplug ? - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

Hi there,
I don't know if some of you already had Sony-Ericsson phones, but there is a useful feature on them (which must also exist for other brands): when you plug your headphones in the phone, it switches to "headphones" sound profile.
When unplugging them, the sound profile goes back to the state it was before plugging-in.
Is there a way, on Windows Mobile, and thus for Diamond, to do such a thing? Or, at least, to switch to "silent" mode when unplugging the headphones cable?
Thanks for your answers!

Really no idea about how to do this?

Seperate volume for headphones?

Hi
I was wondering if there's to have a different volume setting when I've got my headphones plugged in.
Generally I like to have my system volume on zero or something low except when I've got my headphones plugged in, at which point I want it high. Does anyone know any tweaks or apps that could do this?
Thanks
Dan
The volume changes when a bluetooth headset is connected. It remembers the last setting when connnected and not. I don't know about wired headsets. Spb phone suite has profiles that can change volume on different conditions.
Thanks - I just tried SPB Phone Suite and it has a profile for "Headset", but it doesn't seem to automatically invoke that profile when I put my headphones in.
I have a plan though using Mortscript....
I've knocked together a Mortscript script that sort of does the job well enough for my purposes.
It doesn't know when I plug my headphones in, but it Puts the volume at 100%, runs S2P and then when I exit S2P it puts the volume back down to 0 (this is just the system volume - the ringer doesn't change).
If anyone can suss out how to set the volume back to what it was rather than 0 that would be great.
I've attached the file in case it's any use to anyone. I've also put in the shortcut I use which has the S2P icon. This shortcut assumes the script is in Storage Card\Program Files Manual.
Dan
I've just improved my previous script!
Now it turns the volume up to 100%, runs S2P and then puts the volume back to what it was before.
I've attached it in case anyone wants it.
You have to set up rules in phone suite for it to automatically change profiles.
How do I do this? I just tried again and am beginning to suspect that maybe it needs an official HTC headset rather the normal headphones and little adaptor cable from eBay that I'm using...

Does anybody know of a setting?

This may seem very odd, but does anybody know of a setting that allows for normal phone operations when receiving a call while the headphones are plugged in? Example: If my phone is on my nightstand with the earphones plugged in but not in my ears at the moment and I get a call I would like to have a normal conversation without unplugging the earphones or putting them in my ears at that moment.

Heads up to Bluetooth audio volume decrease after first few seconds of song

Found a solution to something that was driving me crazy so I thought it may be helpful to share.
If you use bluetooth headphones/speakers like me and a song starts loud and clear but volume decreases after first few seconds you need to reattach the dongle with regular wired earphones and turn the "Enable Audio Tuner" option off.
When I first got the phone I tried regular earphones with the dongle and played around with the equalizer under "Audio Tuner". But I left that option ON before I took the earphones off. When you use bluetooth that option is greyed out so you cannot toggle. After trying a bunch of earphones and reading articles and trying to find hidden audio settings thinking "audio normalization" may be the culprit, I saw that even though greyed out, the slider was left on ON and I couldnt turn it on because I was on bluetooth.
So if it saves you several hours I'm happy to serve. Just keep it OFF if you are using bluetooth... :good:

You know what's odd, tho (coming from a mate 10 pro where that type of setting was COMPLETELY off limits if not wired): i could use it whether wired or wirelessly, but little did i know Ms. Update would along come and with her the fun gone.
It is now (9.0.11) possible to toggle the Audio Tuner while on bluetooth, however i made a suggestion to take out dynamic normalization (the thing that is lowering the volume when the song gets loud) from the Audio Tuner and make it toggleable separately.
You can like this thread so it maybe will be spotted by OnePlus team.

Question bluetooth audio defaults to 50% volume always 🤬

i have 2 different sets of bluetooth headphones over the neck.. one is bluetooth 4.2 other is 5.0 evertime i go to use them its at 50% volume.. i have checked and recheck ever setting pertaining to volume audio and bluetooth.
It's to protect what ever your connect to. Have you turned on your car and your radio is still atthe volume you left the car previously at and it scared the crap out of you?! Having it set at 50% saves both speakers and your ears.
There's a thing in android nowadays where it'll learn the volume preference per device you connect and next time you connect also it'll start from there! I don't have this problem for my car and I've not noticed on my earphones as well... When my phone is connected to the car, it's at 100% always!
You could use Bixby Routines to set a pre-defined volume level when you connect to specific devices, as well as any other changes you'd want.
I have it max-out the volume when it connects to my car, since the car has separate volume control.

Question USB-C Earphones - OTG

Hi guys, hoping someone might be able to help
There's this annoying with this phone where if you plug in a pair of USB-C earphones they are not picked up until you activate 'OTG connection' in settings. I'm sure we're all familiar with this annoyance. My question is, is there a way, maybe an app or similar whereby this could be turned on automatically when I plug in, or maybe put a switch on/off slider in the form of a widget on the home screen? I don't use earphones often really and invariably forget what it is I need to turn on, and end up Googling it again!
Cheers
