After upgrading to the New ROM, everything is excellent. However, whenever I make a call through the bluetooth, the screen will never go off.
Does anyone know the registry key, so that the screen will go off as previous when talking with bluetooth. Since it is not very convenient to me, as I always put my diamond on the pocket.
Thanks

I decided to install Tom Tom 6 to my tilt because of the issue with iGuidance 4 on WM 6.1 Roms. I got it working great...except that the program doesn't announce things...like when I should turn, etc. If I test the volume or the voices, they work fine, I hear them. There is no issue with volume on the device. Again, it is just the turn by turn directions and whatnot that just seems to not be working. Anyone fluent with TTN6 help a brotha out
hmmm go to preferences and make sure u didnt turn off the sound..
There's a bug which causes TT6 to launch with volume muted. The easiest fix is to use the jog-scroll dial to change volume and take it out of mute mode.
For some reason, restarting TomTom and my phone a few times fixed it...we'll see if it continues to be an issue...obviously some sort of bug though.
A strange problem... In every incoming or outgoing call, my phone turns on the outer speaker (handsfree). So I need to turn off manually after call has started... Do you know any reason that is causing this?
no idea? :/
That happenned to me too, after i tweaked the phone (with Adv. Config. tool) to prevent screen from going to sleep during the call. And i never found a solution. Better you don't perform that tweak
Actually problem had occurred much later than advance config... I think it's all about answerkey disabler... But why only me... I am tired of hard reseting... Actually find something about phonespeaker in register but don't know which one should be changed
Solution for me: Audio Notes Touch - Settings - Speakerphone Off
My phone has developed a strange problem whereby it no longer makes any audible tone when someone rings! If I set it to vibrate, it does indeed vibrate, but if its set to ring, its completely silent. The incoming call notification is displayed from S2U2, and I’ve tried changing the ringtone to ensure it wasn’t having difficulty finding the file, but it doesn’t seem to work. I’ve verified the volume is set to ring, but its still not working. Has anyone experienced this or able to suggest a possible fix?
6.1 stock att tilt
I have the same problem and really like some help towad this matter. see mines is a little different it rings, but it's low but once the call comes to the end of the call volume get loud like it should at the begening. i thinks the cause of this is the s2u2 on my tilt . everything works but incoming call is so low ,I do't know someone was calling until they hang up the volume comes back it's like s2u2 ver.136 muffes my ringtone untile the call end someone please take the time out and give alittle help over here plz asp.
I have the same problem too. I changed from ATT stock ROM to Garmin DK 1.2 ROM and then after a month, the phone stopped ringing for incoming calls. I upgraded the ROM to Garmin DK 2 and the problem temporarily vanished and then started again after about a month.
Does anyone know about this problem? For now, I am installing the HTC Kaiser ROM to test if that solves the problem.
random freezing
I've been having the similar issues with my tilt. It freezes and will vibrate when a call comes, but no sound and it won't stop vibrating until i soft reset. It does it randomly and sometimes it freezes before the number can be displayed so it is shown as an unknown number and i don't know who's calling because after the phone restarts the last call is not in the history. I have a few programs installed like skyfire, tcpmp, s2p, and i use my bluetooth headset at almost all times and i still can't answer with the headset on. I also have the HTC home plugin installed but it came with the windows mobile 6.1 update.
idea
Hya,
I had the same problem with my Niki and it intercame even with the Kaiser.
On Niki the problem was on WM6.0 .. after I upgraded no problem came. The "vibration freeze" never happened again and it's ringing every time.
On Kaiser the problem was in mirror. The ringing functioned well with WM6.0 and the problem came with the upgrade to WM6.1.
I can only think that the problem was that the ROM was broken but not sure.
An idea which I can gave to you to resolve a bit the problem is to install SPB phone suit where you can set ringtones to the calls, SMS, MMS and e-mails (and on newer versions maybe to many other things). It worked on my Niki `till I didn't upgraded (I didn't try it on WM6.1).
Never tried on Kayser but it worked for sure on Hermes.
Just try it, you can be sure that you don't brake anything and SPB phone suite for me was a usefull prog. Friendly interface, easy use and VERY usefull.
Have luck
hey folks,
if I cycle anywhere I like to listen to good music from my touch, I think you know what I mean , but I also want to phone sometimes.
In this time you just have to push a button twice to let the diamond dial the last connected number.
Thats great, but there is one big problem. If I carry my diamond in my pocket an dial a number while listen to music the screen activate. So if I quit the talk the music continue playing an the screen stays activated.
That's a big problem if I cycle and carry my touch in my pocket.
Do you have any solution how I could force the diamond to stay locked while phoning if the headset is activated or otherwhise deactivate the screen after calling?
thanks a lot for the help!
ps: excause me for this long describtion of the problem, but I wanted you to understand everything!
greeting from germany!

Not sure if this would work, but look into PocketShield or TouchLockPro, both you can find on this forum I believe.
hello:
Anything new about this? Native cab never worked for me, either because of the dial plan, lack of stun, sound too low, etc.
Right now, my best option is Fring, this is the only app that I tried that actually wakes up the phone from sleep, but lack of dtmf is a big turn down.
All others I tried, (agephone, sjphone, portsip, pocket talk) dont wake up the phone.
Now that development for WM6 is slowing down, I guess I better start thinking about Android.
